PoliticsRe: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by kinguwem: 2:27pm On Jan 14, 2012
I've observed the ongoing events in the country and concluded that most Nigerians especially the elites and the labour leaders are hypocrites. With this kind of people, the country will never develop. The major problem of the country is lack of patriotism. Unpatriotic fellows don't love their fellow citizens. They are corrupt and destructive. They close down companies and sponsor religious and ethnic crises. What is the problem with deregulation? Most of the people on the streets don't know what deregulation is despite attempts to enlighten them. I'm not surprised that the very people on the streets are not protesting against corruption, ethnic cleansing in the north and the jumbo pay of politicians. None of them has protested against the mismanagement of resources by their various states and local governments. Nigeria consists of a lot of cankerworms who contribute nothing to the wealth of the nation but are desperate to share and loot the resources at their disposal. These people don't care about the future generation because they have gathered enough wealth for their families. There are no serious protests in most places because the masses have not spoken. Most of the people on the streets are unproductive civil servants and agents of the fuel cabal and opposition parties.
PoliticsRe: Nba Urges National Assembly To Impeach Jonathan by kinguwem: 8:50pm On Jan 09, 2012
The NBA has lost focus. They claim to be fighting for the masses after aiding and abating corruption. They are always eager to defend the rights of criminals. Their claims and strike cannot add value to the lives of the masses. I will duff my hat for them if they can stop policemen from collecting bribes shamelessly on the highways.
PoliticsRe: When Will There Be A Mass Protest Against Corruption? by kinguwem: 5:14pm On Jan 04, 2012
Nigerians are very sectional and egocentric in their approach to issues. corruption is the main problem affecting all the nations institutions but people are shying away from it. Most citizens are involved in corrupt practices directly or indirectly. As long as everybody is in his comfort zone, nothing will change in the country.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives 3 Days Ultimatum To Southerners Living In The North by kinguwem: 9:40pm On Jan 03, 2012
The haramites are chicken hearted cowards. They have gone into hiding so soon. So the declaration of the state of emergency is working. GEJ, bravo!
PoliticsRe: Presidency Budgets N1.2b For State House Clinic by kinguwem: 9:36am On Dec 26, 2011
As a health personal, the budget is okay. Frequent foreign trips abroad for medical check-up will be more expensive. The greedy CMDs/MDs of federal hospitals and corrupt officials of the Health Ministry are responsible the poor state of the hospitals. They steal funds allocated to the hospitals.

PoliticsRe: Army Kills 59 Boko Haram Members In Damaturu Attack! by kinguwem: 9:09am On Dec 26, 2011
For once, the military has impressed me. But wait a minute. Where are the bodies of the terrorists killed? Lets see terrorists wounded or captured alive. The DMI should use this opportunity to gather intelligence information about the the group.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo To Jonathan: Don’t Remove Subsidy by kinguwem: 3:54pm On Dec 20, 2011
OBJ had the opportunity to set the records straight, but because of selfish interest (third term agenda) he failed. The same Iweala that advised him is the one advising GEJ. Is there something she told OBJ that she did not tell GEJ. I appreciate OBJ for his concern but the truth is, time has changed. Incurring debt to run the budget is neo-colonialism. Removal of fuel subsidy is a better option.
PoliticsRe: Why Fuel Subsidy Must Go Now, By Jonathan by kinguwem: 5:01pm On Dec 19, 2011
Nigeria needs a humble, bold and sincere leader. GEJ has demonstrated that. If the late Yar'Adua did not reverse the privatization of the refineries by OBJ based on sentiments, we wouldn't be faced with these problems today.
The legislators and some politicians are the greatest problem of this nation. They want the country to incur debt but they are not ready to cut down their jumbo pay. Why are they rejecting the removal of fuel subsidy? Are some of them beneficiaries of the subsidy?
All the states that are dependent on monthly allocations should develop resources in their areas to generate revenue. Some state governors are wasting money on carnivals, settlement of aged politicians and rigging of elections. Most of them are not interested in agriculture and rural development, human development nor long term investments.
How many refineries did General Gowon build? He shouldn't be talking about deregulation. He did not lay a good foundation for the economic development of this country.
I don't want the future of my children to be mortgaged in debt. Most of the politicians that are against the removal of subsidy are insincere. Lets be objective and patriotic.
PoliticsRe: Gunmen Storm Airforce School In Kano: Kill Many by kinguwem: 1:15pm On Dec 17, 2011
The evil that men do live with them. When the almajiris were used to kill christians and southerners they were good boys. During the post-election crisis they were hailed by their owners as civil right activists. Initially, when they started their terrorist acts, their sponsors call for negotiations with the federal government. Now they have become not just political thugs and terrorists but full-time criminals, hired assassins and arsonists. By now even some of their sponsors have gone into hiding. May be their operations is now sponsored and directed by associates of the late Osama Bin Ladan. No negotiations with primitive terrorists. The FG should track them down with their sponsors. Money paid to any suicide bomber and terrorists should be traced and forfeited to the FG. The security agencies should no longer be a company for corruption, nepotism and where a privilleged few are employed to drink pepper soup with beer and smoke weeds. They should prove to the nation that they are men of valour and honour and not cowards nor saboteurs.
PoliticsRe: Free Meal For Lagos Pupils by kinguwem: 10:55am On Dec 17, 2011
Free meals for pupils in public schools is okay. However, this may turn out to be another avenue to loot public funds. LASG should reduce the fees for students at LASU. Despite the achievements of Fashola, if the masses are not happy, then he needs to review his policies.
NYSCRe: Yobe NYSC Camp Burnt Down By Boko Haram Fire? by kinguwem: 7:59pm On Dec 13, 2011
Those unrepentant, illiterate, terrorists in the desert should not benefit from the federation account. They contribute almost nothing to the federation account. Their politicians have contributed nothing to the development of the people.
NYSC should stop sending corp members to Yobe state. The state is a cursed land.
PoliticsRe: Sani Abacha was honest & one of Nigeria's best ever leaders. by kinguwem: 7:37pm On Dec 13, 2011
Abacha and his cronies started the business of lifting our crude oil to their private refineries abroad and importing the refined products at the detriment of our refineries.
Only God knows the amount of crude oil they stole daily and how much money they made from sales of the refined products. Such transactions are not in the records of NNPC.
Surviving members of the powerful cabal are benefitting from the fuel subsidy. God will punish anybody who wants to delibrately misinform nigerians of the deeds of the late dictator and his cronies.
Where do illegal bungers take fuel to? What is the relationship between the bungers, the militants, the military and NNPC officials?
PoliticsRe: Yar'Adua Wilted Away In Office - Book By Olusegun Adeniyi (Fmr Spokesman) by kinguwem: 11:33am On Dec 11, 2011
Its better late than never. The public wishes to know what happened in the last days of the late president.
Never again in the history of this country should such a calamity befall us. The core north has lost political relevance because their elites were unpatriotic, myopic and egocentric during the incident. The NLC was also timid during the incident.
PoliticsRe: Kaduna Blast Was A Bomb - Red Cross by kinguwem: 6:44pm On Dec 09, 2011
The CP has made conclusions without the investigations of bomb experts. I hope he's not an accomplice. This attitude of his is unethical and  don't speak well of the Nigeria Police. The IQ and competence of the CP is questionable.
PoliticsRe: Why the "Anti-Gäy Marriage Bill" is Wrong by kinguwem: 6:08pm On Dec 09, 2011
Sexual perversion is a sin and legalizing it is an abomination. Recently the US senate has approved sexual intercourse with horses for soldiers.
It's not every thing that is from the developed world that is good. HIV/AIDS was first discovered in homosexuals in the US. More deadly diseases will soon break out from America.
The senate did the right time. Lets condemn homosexuality, it is a psychosexual disorder.

EducationRe: Fashola Defends And Justifies The Increment Of LASU Fees by kinguwem: 8:07pm On Dec 07, 2011
State governments should stop establishing universities. Most states don't have the capacity to do so.
We shouldn't compare our system to what happens abroad.
Universities abroad get revenue through research grants and foundations. There are also several scholarship programmes to help poor students.
Education is not a priority in this country. Our dons are confused. There is no serious research going on in most universities to attract funding. I don't know how the lecturers become professors. Yet they want to increase their retirement age to 70 years to deprive the youths of employment opportunities.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is Not Ready For State Police - GEJ by kinguwem: 7:33pm On Dec 07, 2011
Most states are not viable. The governors don't have ideas on how to utilize available resources to create wealth. Most of the undue revenue allocated to them monthly is diverted to their private accounts.
The creation of a state police will be the licence they need to effectively eliminate all political opponents and critics.
PoliticsRe: You Can’t Stop Sylva - Bayelsa Lawmakers To PDP by kinguwem: 10:25am On Dec 07, 2011
Most commentators on this issue are neither bayelsans nor resident in Bayelsa. The state legislators are only interested in their private investments.
The truth is that Sylva has failed the state. He and his cohorts want to use public funds to perpetrate themself in office for wastage of more revenue. God forbid that their plan should work. What do you say of a governor that has been booed openly by the people on several occassions?
What GEJ is doing is not strange in nigerian politics. Lets not behalf like hypocrites, Bayelsa must be liberated from drug addicts and mediocres.
HealthRe: How Can You Be Sure That The Surgical Instruments to be Used On You Are Sterilized by kinguwem: 6:56am On Dec 07, 2011
I wish to commend on this issue as a concerned citizen and also as a medical doctor. Use of unsterilized equipment can cause HIV infection. Medical facilities usually sterilize instruments before procedures. Syringes are usually not recycled. Blood is usually screened before transfusion.
However we are aware of quacks who run health facilities. The NMA and the Ministries of Health ensure that such facilities are closed. Please report any suspected quack for disciplinary action. Be vigilant and ask questions when in doubt. Suspect practitioners who are secretive and unfriendly.
The kits used for screening of blood may not be 100% sensitive for HIV if the donor is infected and is in the window period. As a result of this we usually transfuse blood when it is absolutely necessary. They are more sensitive kits which are not readily available in most facilities.
PoliticsRe: 36 Governors Endorsed Fuel Subsidy Removal - Sule Lamido by kinguwem: 5:48pm On Dec 02, 2011
Nigerians are always sentimental about national issues. There is need for deregulation of the petroleum sector. The truth is, no matter the amount of money pumped for the servicing of refineries, they will not work because of the 'nigerian factor'.
Experiences in the telecommunications section has shown that government cannot run enterprises successfully like the private sector.
Most nigerians are hypocrites. Has there been a revolution or protests by the NLC over the jumbo pay of politicians. What is the stance of labour on Boko Haram? What is the productivity of an average civil servant? Is the increment of wages justifiable without a corresponding increase in productivity.
We should be discussing about ways of diversifying the economy. Most nigerians especially public office holders are getting undue wages and this should be stopped.
People are calling for a sovereign national conference which to me will be a waste of time and resources. A revolution is inevitable in the country.
CrimeRe: Police Kills Again! by kinguwem: 7:31pm On Dec 01, 2011
The Nigeria Police needs special prayers and deliverance. They are cursed. That is why they collect N20 openly on the roads without shame.
Now that they kill innocent citizens openly without provocation, the situation requires divine intervention. If nothing is done now, the situation may escalate and more lives shall be wasted.
PoliticsRe: Yasmine, El-rufai's 25 Year Old Daughter, Found Dead In London by kinguwem: 5:59pm On Nov 28, 2011
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh. All things worketh for good. According to the Wise King, 'vanity all upon vanity'.
May the soul of the departed rest in peace. I wish the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.
In all things we should give thanks to God. We should be fair to all and be our brothers' keeper. Death is the common end to all living creatures. We shall all account for our deeds on earth.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives Terms For Negotiation With FG by kinguwem: 3:36am On Nov 21, 2011
The media is propagating the agenda of this devilish terrorist group. The group has the support of some aggrieved politicians and persons in their areas of operation.
The FG is having an upper hand in the fight against terrorism. They have incorporated some foreigners as suicide bombers. The SSS should infiltrate the group and gather information about their sponsors and mode of operation. The NSA should release funds for reward of persons with useful information.
No negotiations with terrorists. For now the group is faceless. All their sponsors should be done with the way Osama and Ghadafi were eliminated.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Gives Terms For Negotiation With FG by kinguwem: 9:10pm On Nov 20, 2011
The media is promoting the activity of Boko Haram. The group is faceless and is using propaganda as a tool to intimidate people.
Their activity is restricted to few states where they can easily blend with the people. Those suicide bombers are probably foreigners who have links with foreign terrorist organizations.
The SSS should infiltrate the group and study their mode of operation. Also, the NSA should release enough funds for reward of persons with useful information about the group.
The FG is having an upper hand in the fight against these terrorists. Negotiations with terrorists is cowardice. The security agents should be patriotic and brave to win this battle. If Osama and Ghadafi were eliminated, the sponsors of Boko Haram should be traced and done with.
EducationRe: Schools Shut Down In Osun Over Hijab by kinguwem: 7:02pm On Nov 18, 2011
All schools have dress codes. Either you abide by the rules or you go to another school. I think the muslims have interpreted the issue wrongly. They can build more islamic schools for their members to dress the way they want.
PoliticsRe: Dialogue With Boko Haram - El-Rufai To FG by kinguwem: 5:18pm On Nov 14, 2011
El-Rufai is not different from the rest of them. Now that he wants the FG to negotiate with his terrorist brothers, can he tell us the names of the members of the BOT of Boko Haram. What other evidence do we need to proof that these bombings are politically motivated.
When they decided not to develop their people, they didn't know that they were sowing the seeds of poverty, hated, insecurity and crime. God will punish all of them for several generations.
The rules of the game is very clear. Never negotiate with terrorists. The FG should hunt them till the last man is down. It is only a frustrated man that can die foolishly as a suicide bomber without any rational cause.

RomanceRe: Alright It's ok by kinguwem: 6:26pm On Oct 24, 2011
It is rather surprising that despite all the enlightenment programmes on HIV/AIDS you're still ignorant on how to prevent transmission of the infection.
The first step is to avoid unprotected sex. Use condoms for casual sex. All sexual partners must be screened for HIV infection. The risk of transmission of HIV infection through sexual intercourse is about 1/1000. For a person that is newly infected, it takes about 3 months for the rapid test to be positive.
In conclusion always know your HIV status and that of your partner before commencement of a sexual relationship. Abstinence is still the best way of prevention. Mutual fidelity is another option. However, whenever in doubt, proper use of a reliable condom could prevent transmission of infection.
