Man... this country is just somehow. So the government has been touting cashless policy for 3 years now. Are they telling us that all the donated funds were in cash, collated in one building? And they planned to put the cash into several vehicles for disbursement across the country? Now the cash is all burnt - in spite of the previous denials? I was watching several videos of how other countries are dealing with aunty Coro, and my dear Nigeria is just fumbling here and there. At some point, one can only laugh... it's just too sad. |
Of course there a few women who don't enjoy it, but in my opinion the only men who are being starved of sex are those who don't know how to seduce a woman. Most men just want to say sumobi, jen fisi, then go and sleep, without caring for her needs. I doubt a woman who's husband is really making love to her (not just banging, there's a difference) will lock up in these times. |
IMF: America and Europe's special agency for keeping developing countries underdeveloped. Nevertheless congrats are in order ma'am... |
helinues:Nothing wrong with toasting a girl jare... in this age of quick hookups, it's refreshing to actually date a girl. Whether or not you bang her (or she bangs you, for the equality crowd), should not change the simple fun factor of hanging out with a girl you like. |
ublight:No insults intended here, but if you think she thinks you're chicken livered... maybe you've proven her point. BestAccessories:The first reply gave you the answer: don't ask over the phone... use the phone to keep the conversation going until you see her. I'll add: don't make this a "I must ask her, and she must accept answer", which puts so much pressure to decide on her. Instead, mention a fun activity that you were planning to do, and invite her to come along. |
I don't understand it, but consider: Most of the people ruining Nigeria today did chores in their houses as children. Senators, police, kidnappers... all were very good chore doers, brought up with "good values", "discipline", and so on. That should tell you something. But to OP, please paddle your own canoe and leave your landlord to run his affairs as he sees fit. |
The US government. I hope Buharists won't come and complain that many Nigerians have more affinity for Trump than for PMB. |
Somebody please tell the governor that viruses that land anywhere close to your eyes also can infect you. Social distance is to keep your entire face out of the range of droplets. |
ChangeMachine:Really? I don't think... really? ![]() OK, I guess different strokes for different folks |
Some people like to use others to shine. Instead of going to do legit hustle, some want to be parasites. If you want to share nudes... get real ones of babes like Rukky or Ini ![]() |
Philinho:Who? The policeman? For doing what his DPO told him to do? |
DanjaNinja:Medicare for All, free college and cancelling student debt, expanding social security, housing for all to eliminate homelessness, and universal childcare. These are laudable goals, certainly attainable with a sufficient shift in American ideologies, but ultimately won't get through any realistic congress. In essence, most Democrats think these are empty promises, unpopular with moderate, swing voters which would make it very hard for Bernie to beat Trump. His strongest base are young Americans, i.e. those who don't own health insurance companies, colleges, and many other businesses that would be jeorpadized by all these "free" programs. I use "free" in quotes because it's really all about a redistribution of wealth - a phrase most Americans hate to hear. The money would come from increased taxes on the wealthy and business owners, as well as loss of business for (e.g. health insurance), now that government is guaranteeing payment for health. What wealthy person wants to work hard, then see the government take even more of their money to pay for people who (in their eyes) didn't want to work as hard? If everything is now free or guaranteed, what's the incentive to be productive? One possible result is that wealthy Americans start figuring how to move more of their money abroad - like wealthy French did. Every country is socialist to a degree - free elementary and secondary education is already the norm in the US; as are free lunches, healthcare, and other services for those under a certain income, or those over a certain age. The argument is just over where the slider should go: some think all education - including University - should be also free since a bachelor's is practically necessary to get a good job. Others argue that "free" University education is not a right, individuals have to work hard and pay the costs to achieve it, and that the costs would rise anyway if there was some government guarantee. Same arguments can be heard for healthcare and others. Countries have a different view of what should be free and covered by government, and the time may yet come where the sentiment in America moves to the left. At this time, however, the focus is "beat Trump", not "become more socialist", hence Bernie's lack of traction with the bulk of voters. |
OK, it didn't destroy any record, it just erased them ![]() But that money don japa... that much we know. |
As e dey hot. Well, NCAA, what says you? You have exclusive power over the air, but governor has exclusive power over non Federal space, including business offices. |
Some people never learn... later they will start blaming government when the place goes up and people end up roasted. ![]() |
caprini1:It's sad, but is a predictable result of voting in PMB. I wish Adesina could remain minister for 10 years. Nobody is perfect, but he was miles ahead of the current crop. |
Better.. the chances of Sanders beating Trump is not certain... some of his policies are too far left, and Democrats need a moderate candidate that can swing former Trump voters... |
Cut to capital projects and infrastructure. But no cuts to overblown NA salaries, allowances, cars and jeeps, money to buy chicken, or travel for earache abi? |
OK, so it's not Rwandan government, but a philantrophist in Gambia. Where in the Agbaya of Africa have you seen any government assistance or philanthropy of this magnitude? Point remains, na audio giant we be, forget the twitter backlash. |
True talk... moni don share. And the youths will still be hailing the local politifcian |
PROJECTBASE:They don't have to carry stick and cutlass. All they have to do is vote in good people, every 4 years or so. But they don't. If youths aged 18-38 had voted wisely in last election, we would have had a totally different set of leaders, since this group segment are a larger majority than any other in this country. They didn't, and this is our reward. |
Xneg: honesttalk21:It should and can be possible. The level of productivity should match your population. Food per capita simply means: the more people, the more food is produced, and the more should be stored in emergencies. USA with nearly 2x our population can do it, as can Malaysia, Indonesia, South Africa, and Rwanda with different populations and levels of development... so it's not a matter of population, but of commitment to your own people's survival. We have the land, we have the farmers, we have the resources. What we don't have is good management and enough foresight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX6qrY4VwTs I saw this video a while ago, about a large yam barn in Edo, of a single farmer. One man! See the video, showing off one man's effort, and tell me whether Nigeria should have any business with poverty, if our governments (state and federal) would take this seriously and store the excess for times like this. |
Other countries showing the Agbaya of Africa how to take care of their people. Was it not in Lagos they shared two cups of rice lasan... and maybe bread? But na we sabi make noise pass. |
chariisGRACE:I agree, people's lives are are stake, but you have to appreciate the man's honesty ![]() For me oh, I thought that was the most honest and straightforward answer. You know Edo politics can be funny, and nobody wants to feel Obaseki's wrath whether justified or not. |
Yankee101:1. I can understand the sentiment but all visitors have undergone the required 14-day quarantine. Essentially they are free of the virus. 2. People are also being evicted from their homes (by landlords), and are not being allowed to shop or go to restaurants. These are people who have been living in China, and were part of the long quarantine. 3. If any country did this to Chinese, there would be howls of protest in the streets, on social media, and in their news, complaining of racism. In short, the Chinese are seizing on any excuse to vent their frustration - not at their own government of course, because they can be made to "disappear" - but on "outsiders". |
Stanchem029:Oh, sorry, the General knows who his bosses are. It's only when it comes to harmless civilians he throws DSS at them. |
China once again... from fake baby formula to fake chloroquine tablets. Many people in that country really needs an orientation towards doing good, not just making money. Of course my own brothers here in Naija have no issues asking the Chinese to make fake drugs so they can make money while their own people are dying. |
on sighting the headlights of security vehicles... Sigh... if you're going to do covert operation and capture people, why use headlights? |
flejnr:Too true... this one thinks it's gentle GEJ he's dealing with, not knowing that this General does not hesitate to lock muthafukas up. ![]() |
So India, with 1.4Billion people says it wants to preserve its own stockpile of drugs for its own people. USA (via Trump) with 350 million threatens India (and risks the health of billions of poorer people) because it needs medicines... that wealthy American drug companies stopped making. The same Trump was abusing 3M for exporting masks to Canada. Is this not self-centered narcissism? If the tables were turned, do you think USA would send any drugs to India, or would it instead clamp down on exports, claiming it needs to stockpile for "national security"? |
So you mean to tell me that if Chad and Nigeria went to war, we would lose? No, seriously think of it: Chad > Boko > Nigeria Upon all our oyel money, size, gra gra, ITK, oversabi... las las na only mouth we get? Giant of Africa indeed... more like Agbaya of Africa. In fact, this is what I will start calling us. South Africa has more developed economy, and can produce their own machinery. Ghana has solid democratic principles, follows rule of law, and is a calm and tidy place. Chad has actual functioning armed forces. The list goes on... Nigeria only claim is: "we have a lot of people, and jollof rice" SMH |
Well, Drake (and other US artists) won't do a collabo unless it's also going to benefit him too. It's great for both sides. |
