Crime / Re: Pastor Caught With Human Faeces Makes Shocking Revelation (Photos, Video) by NiCurious: 7:58pm On Apr 04, 2020
Who would demand to know what was in the bag in the first place? A pastor cannot carry a bag in peace again, without someone wanting to see what's inside? Whose business is it, to see if it's peppers for his supper, alms for the poor, a lacy nightgown for a lady "acquaintance", or feces from some species, for whatever purpose? But this pastor is so holy that he doesn't poop, that's why he has to use poop from ordinary people?

Women are commodities, especially on this side of the planet.

As long as an African lady continues to see relationship as side hustle; pssy as business venture; and herself as a financial responsibility of a man, actualization of equality among both genders through feminism would continue to be a comic relief or at best a popular slang for overfcked evening newspapers and failed wives turned single moms grin grin grin.

I will focus on the neutral truth of this, and ignore the pejoratives. Gender equality depends on women de-commodifying themselves.

So you actually think and believed that the people you call side chicks and side boyfriends don't have a full time boyfriend and girlfriends respectively That means you can easily be fooled lol

The only people that are not side chicks are legally married ladies and the only guys that are not side boyfriends are legally married men.

Every girlfriend is a side chick because you cannot even tell if you are your boyfriend's main girlfriend or his substitute girlfriend known as a side chick, same for the guys, so chill everybody is being played in the game of dating and relationship till it leads to marriage grin grin

At the bolded: not quite. Some side chicks and side boyfriends are married. If you know...

Good evening everyone... lemme go straight....
(pardon my typos)
.
There is a friend of mine,we met in school infact he's my course mate, but we were not as close as this when we were in 100lv , but as we were entering higher levels we started relating better.
I never had the thought of him being gay but when he started doing some creeping things,i started having doubts in my mind....
Could you believe this guy has gay porn on his phone ....he even had the audacity to ask me to come and watch i just turned a deaf ear.
Sometimes if am talking to him about relationship matters like my girlfriend lying to me he will just tell me:na u no dey 4lo girls.
To the extent he told me that i shouldn't trust girls when i have guys. Can you imagine?...
He also likes complementing me and am not comfortable with that...
But on his good side this guy dey dash me money pass my uncle .......
.
But am fed up with the friendship i don't know if i should end it or help him be straight that's if it's possible...
Please i need advices

He's gay. You're straight. As friends, you have to accept each other's sexuality, or it's not a well-grounded friendship.
While I do not know either of you, it sounds like he is giving you money to keep you around and liking him...and you are accepting the money because you like money...and that is not a good grounding for friendship, either.

How can a bat Coronavirus mutate to cause harm on humans? Mutation occur when an organism is adjusting to adapt to the environment it finds itself. The organism in this case is the Coronavirus and the environment it finds itself is the bat. A human that is totally out of the picture will eat the bat probably poorly cooked and then the virus gets in to the human.

My point is this. Take mutation out of the picture. Humans ate bat and contact a disease from the bat. Simple as that. (Again, no one is sure if it was gotten from bat eating or snake eating or biological weapon).

Everybody have their own theory and opinion but no one is certain of anything. That is enough to make you think spiritual. There are no facts anywhere. No death has been witnessed in Isreal but Iran is hit most. Europe and the LGBT community are taking over everything in the world. Our TV and books are homosexual scene. They value less of God and morality. They are also hit hard. Africa should stand strong in the God they believe in.

13 fatal cases in Israel to date.

Thanks 4 the link. I did no see anything about Japan from it.

But, SERIOUSLY, there is something not adding up about this virus!
Italy banned all flights from China Jan 31, the same day two Chinese tourists became their first cases. Then they imposed quarantine and other draconian measures. Japan’s first case was Jan 16, and they never really banned flights and intentionally under-tested (see below). S. Korea tested everybody. Iran another anomaly. China has suddenly opened up everywhere, including Wuhan - why no more quarantine? What is suddenly protecting them? China also never complained of shortage of ventilators or anything. Did they just let sufferers die? The virus has never killed anyone between 1 and 10, also almost no one under 20. People also have different symptoms, some non at all - they test positive but never get sick - WHY?

Sorry about the link, I forgot to test it before posting. To make it work, copy the rest of the address above (after the active link) into the search bar of that site. I think you will like the article.

Thanks 4 input. Well why then do u think Japanese approach to date (see below) has been successful - no extensive testing, no closing down of society

No extensive testing? If you don't look, you won't find. smiley

Attaching a link to an analysis in today's MSN feed. It's an interesting read, food for thought. If indeed Japan has a low number of cases, accurately reported, one of the reasons I most appreciate, is early screening of arrivals to the country. Though as you see, there are many possible factors, including a fairly hygienic culture, helping to limit the spread of the virus, which nonetheless got in.

It will be interesting to see if their approach serves well in the end. Watching with interest.

Enough already quit this one here and one there junk tell us when a thousand or more get it in Nigeria then maybe it will be newsworthy till then shut up. Some are dying of Boko Haram insurgency, poverty, malaria, Lassa fever, bandits, Fulani herdsmen, kidnappers, road accident, cultism, and pneumonia especially the older people and the propaganda media would tell us that they die of Coronavirus, be careful in believing it.!!!
Soooo 3 out of 3,000,000+ .000001% of the population or less. Yikes..
So basically 3 people sitting at home on their couch, watching TV, eating chicken noodle soup, drinking 7UP and taking an aspirin here and there.
Actually I believe that. Globalists are punishing the world to show us how much we need them I have noticed that if you have money you get medical care and drugs that help you recover but every day people don’t get it Of course not! The media would not have taken this "campfire" and fanned it into a major "forest fire." And you and many others are too ignorant of the truth that you believe them! They want chaos and anarcky; they want the current Global setting to collapse.
Globalists are punishing the world to show us how much we need them.

This is the kind of thing that inspired Charles Darwin to embrace the theory of Natural Selection. If you want to weed out your garden, just put your hands in your pockets and watch.

The press has blown this out of proportion to create panic! When this is over and done with, Mark my words, the Lassa fever season of 2019 -2020 will look much worse!

When you flatten the curve you also lengthen the curve. Globalists willing to go 6 months or more with this? Going 6 months will destroy the economy and usher in a big depression and economic collapse in some countries. Why is this necessary for a virus that is a little worse than H1N1, which we did nothing for?
Just like every other flu we have known throughout the history of mankind. Should you not shake hands? Of course, Should you wash your hands regularly? Always. Should you stay home if you are sick? Certainly.

Should we destroy the economy, shutter businesses, put a match to the world's wealth? Months of quarantine will do this and I don't think so.

Ridiculous! Some People are easily manipulated! Once you give up your Rights and Civil Liberties for safety sake , you have given up all your freedom! The Government owns you. This is not what our ancestors fought and died for. I will not going to isolate myself is better to live in liberty with danger than in prison with slavery

Although your meaning is not clearly expressed in all of the above, it is important to distinguish between your right to move freely, and the right of others, not to become infected, whether with covid or anything else. Rights go hand-in-hand with responsibility. To claim your rights, please also claim responsibility, and respect others, as you may already be a carrier, and so might they. Do not demonstrate your "rights" with vulnerable people like your parents and grandparents, for example, nor anybody else's.

Here’s the rest of my argument to the guy (which is totally original by the way):

First of all we’d be doing everything other countries are doing EXCEPT totally shut down our society. People will be sentisized to not crowd together, social distancing, to wash hands, to use face masks, etc, PLUS we’d also be treating those we can which will save some. So there’d be no “everyone is allowed to be infected at the same time, with no one taking care of anybody“.

The message IS getting out, true, but there will be those who cannot, or will not, comply. Last I read, there are only 700 ventilators, which does not come close to the number that may be needed--given the high population, and given the percentage of those infected, who need ventilators

Secondly 97% of the infected, get well without needing any special medical care (so for them it is just like, say, malaria)

Your 97% is a higher percentage than other countries are showing.

Thirdly we’d have more people who have survived the virus and therefore whose blood have immunity and can be used to treat the sick (this has been shown to work)

I'm not current on the blood work research, so won't comment much on that. The blood would need to be screened for other blood-borne diseases too, as usual. Among people who are healthy to begin with, most should get through without much bother, judging by the stats from other countries. But, see the next point....

Fourthly we should remember we are overpopulated.

Overpopulation is hard to forget. I understand that you are being rational and analytical, but if it's your own grandma whose life is in the balance, that might sway your opinion a bit.... It is the overpopulation that worries me, the overcrowding, the widespread malnutrition and hunger that reduce the body's ability to fight back. These are all people who did not ask to be in that situation to begin with. Also, given how common malaria is, and how many people have it at any given time, or who are recovering...remember, it attacks the red blood cells which carry oxygen...and covid is a respiratory disease...anyone with malaria, or recovering from it, would be at extra risk, I would think.

It is better that we fight a war and win and come out stronger (though losing some people), than to close everything and hide like cowards because of an enemy we know we can defeat (though we’d lose some people while doing it). Countries have gone to war instead of surrendering, knowing fully well they’d lose half their people!

To continue in the cold, analytical vein, one of the big issues with covid in places like the US, is that it is taking down skilled health care workers (sometimes permanently), who are then unavailable to care for any patients, whether covid patients or regular patients who are suffering from regular pre-covid 19 ailments. So there is a loss of very helpful, knowledgeable people (as opposed to us regular lumps of flesh).

A war is being fought regardless, with untrained personnel, making the best of it, and leaving much to chance, as usual.

Your post is long and my time is short atm. Some questions for you to think about.
You were friends with this guy before you discovered this. Is he now a different person, or you only see him differently now?
You don't like that he has been hiding a side of himself from you. Is your friendship not firm enough that he cannot be himself around you?
What would you do if your pastor friend was, instead, smoking, drinking, and going to ashewo house? What would you do then?
Find exactly what it is you that bothers you, then talk to him about it. Otherwise, what kind of friendship is it, at all, if you cannot talk to him about what disturbs you?

Politics / Re: Coronavirus: Lagos Has Broken The Circle Of Transmission - Health Commissioner by NiCurious: 7:06pm On Mar 15, 2020
Farki:

“In simple words, that means in Lagos, we have been able to interrupt the transmission between the index case and anybody in this environment, we have broken the circle of transmission and have not given the virus the opportunity to spread beyond one person. So, the threats posed by the index case to Lagos and Nigeria has been eliminated and we have not gotten an outbreak as a result of the interventions that took place in Lagos”, the Commissioner added. "

The above statement by the commissioner is also an assumption, the people who met Mr Italian that he remembers are virus free, other individuals who interacted in passing or were just in the same area as him and travelled might not be. This is why I say it it still premature to call the operation a success and declare the threat to Nigeria eliminated, as the mode of transmission is not fully understood and proper quarantine measures were not taken before this incident.

Point above is well made. Covid 19 is a novel virus, meaning that it is new and we are still learning about it. Nobody has all the information about it, so for all of us to get into heated arguments about it at this stage, would be like the fable of the six blind men and the elephant.

The Commissioner's statement only speaks about the index case in Lagos, but can be taken to mean, and has been by some, that Nigeria has taken triumphant measures to prevent its arrival and spread. Whereas a lady in this thread said she arrived back in Nigeria recently, to no screening in the airport at all.

In time, the hot climate may prove to kill the virus naturally (not all viruses are stopped by hot weather). If that is the case, then it might be more a case of good luck and nature, than good management, if Nigeria is spared--given the long incubation period where carriers are contagious before falling sick themselves, and crowded conditions. (Saying this is without disrespect to the medical staff containing the said case in Lagos, as they did not receive the patient immediately.)

Attached is a map of affected countries, updated today. It has changed since last version posted on this thread. The map does not indicate race or nationality of those affected, nor whether they carried or failed to carry anointing oil, or eat whichever supposed miracle food, etc.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019–20_coronavirus_pandemic_by_country_and_territory

I wish all of you good health, and to not forget to still take precautions when it comes to malaria, typhoid, HIV, food poisoning, etc., because of being distracted by Covid 19.

CanadaOrBust, I would like to agree with you, on account of your rational approach, but unfortunately the figures are growing worldwide as the days pass, with more countries reporting, and the figures on the map you posted are now outdated. And there are cases in Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Cuba, since you mentioned the Caribbean...though not huge numbers at this point, so at the moment the virus has not taken off in those places. It is not stated whether these are sick tourists, or sick locals. Maybe we can say that the tropical climate mitigates, though perhaps not eliminates, the spread of the virus?
