Thanks... I any my wife tought abt buying a 4.5 bed so we both sleep in the palour.. What do you think?
Where will baby sleep? Its better if mum and baby are together, in this case mum baby and MIL.

You might have to sleep in the parlor since there's only a bedroom available. The extra foam goes to the room for MIL.

Please i need advice, I stay in a one bedroom flat, how do i manage the arrangements, just my wife mother inlaw is coming...

Thanks.. I use a 4.5 ft bed and can only accommodate one person and the baby.. Thanks
The new mum and baby gets the bed.
You might have to get extra small mattress for your mum in law, A new mum or an elderly person can't sleep on the floor.

Loool at that lady's prayer

I read somewhere that chioma has said she will not allow davido to be near ifeanyi maybe because of tradition, she should have sense and allow the boy enjoy what Davidos other children are enjoying and let him take responsibility.
The boy is already born into wealth let him enjoy his papas wealth ehen, he shouldn't pay for their mistakes.

If she doesn't one day the boy will still go and meet the papa.

Laslas blood is still stronger than tradition.

I understand your point, a woman who supports her husband. I replied you because your response was ts to that of a person who wondered why all immoral misgivings must be blamed at girls' doorsteps. Men have leading role to play in the society. The society fails usually because men fail to lead. We should never teach our daughters to marry just any man for marrying sake. They must marry godly men who understand what marriage is all about. There are too many worldly, warped narratives about marriage that can easily confuse non-discernible minds. Narailand is full of such and I usually warn young people around me to be wary of what they swallow from social media, not usually a good place to look for marital advice. God is the author of marriage and irrespective of what the world preaches, his intention concerning what marriage should look like has not changed and he is ever willing to help those who look up to him navigate through difficult terrain of searching for and getting responsible and godly spouses.
Solid points once again.

You are wrong, when you see a woman who married a real man, A man strong and godly, you will understand that woman has less work to do Women has been so brainwashed to believe that making marriage work is all their duty that many don't even bother to look out for strong and capable men to marry but simply settle for anything and work their ass out to make their marriage work while the man philander around. God created the man to lead, not the woman. Sin turned everything on its head, and create situations where women seek to dominate. In the beginning, it was never intended so, and God's original intention has not changed.
@ bolded , God bless you.

PROLOGUE
My name is Michael but my friends call me Mike and my close friend is Charles but i prefer calling him Charley.
I dont know what brought us together, perhaps it was fate but i dont really care to know because he was the best friend you could ever get.He was a year older than i was but that does not matter since we were in the same class and we were best of friends.
Charles was stronger than i was,he beats most of our classmates but he had never beaten more but i knew he will beat me to a pulp if we ever fought. He was more good looking but i was his mouth piece,he was a reserved type.He was also good in basketball, girls loved his physique but i dont really care because i had my accolades in football, this earned me my popularity at school then but mind you Charles was more popular.
We ate together, wears the same cloth because our parents could afford them, people mistook us to be fraternal twin and when we were asked"are you guys twin",we simply say yes.It was fun doing that.
I must say that I love Him

I actually blame your girlfriend

What was she looking for up and down, everybody knows unnecessary visits yield incidents like this.

She should have been smarter.

'She washed one she didn't wash it well'
'She didn't wash at all' - are incidents that should NEVER have happened.

You have to be extremely smart, your head working in full capacity when it comes to in law issues because most times its your fault they are hunting for. Never give them that opportunity.

There are some men who would not drink alcohol in the presence of their mother, mature married men with children ooo, just out of respect and the training they received while coming up.

You are at least 10 years older than those boys, they should respect you.

That's how some of these boys start and they go haywire and become totally uncontrollable.

All these Pampering and oyinbo method we deceive ourselves with is going to boomerang, when you need to be tough you should be tough.

In some families those boys dare not try that nonsense.

Children born mid 2000's ? Naa this is not accepted.

In fact these things are already ingrained in a child before age 10, by age 5 some things are formed already. So its all in the upbringing.

I might be wrong bukatyne but your write up seems to be referring to only those who engage in multiple sexual relationships as having nectar depleted.
One sexual partner in just one incident / over time can also deplete gradually or zap out the "nectar" at once .

I do agree with the poster who said you should have just used the word virginity, but then I am a strong advocate of NSBM( for both sexes) maybe that's why I feel that way and I can't relate with a lot of things I read.

As I am seeing nectar it is virginity that is coming to my head. grin

Kingstanding:
. I'm not surprised with what she did to her husband. I m talking from experience, Nigeria's women are one of the best women in the world but the problem of our men is that they want the best from a woman they don't value and treating well the answer is capital NO. Treat Nigeria's woman we'll be honest with her treat her the way you will treat your mother and see that 75% of our women are wonderfully wonderful. For me I did not regret of marrying my woman. If I do good I feel good and if I do bad I feel bad that's the way I live my life with everyone.
grin grin

Oyel dey your head.

Besides is it today women started contributing or even being sole providers? Shame doesn't let a lot of women admit they are sole providers, they still try to protect the husband by covering up.

Even women that are not being treated right contribute pay school fees etc, some even carry the major expenses, I have seen 2 of such threads of women being the bread winner very recent on NL

I am not surprised it has turned to another female bashing thread.

They are all shouting ahh, a woman should take the stress of a man, for some women if the man doesn't take the stress out of them, she will ensure you self are stressed out financially , I have seen this happen sad.

For some men its only in financial contribution they will need their wives after that her opinion doesn't matter in anything.

Nairaland Men should choose a side and stick to it.

You want to be traditional and sole provider, go all the way.

You want equal contribution and her to support financially then you too support her in the home.

Its only when money is involved some men remember they have a partner, their own partnership doesn't extend to anything else. The financial partner only gang.

She is living alone.

I am not the only child.

There are others trying to make ends meet at different places in Nigeria.

I am the only one whose phone is always on whenever they are calling me from the village.

Others have got new lines which they don't want the other relatives to know due to their disturbance.

Whenever they visit my mom, they would stay with her and then go back.

If any of my relatives ask for their numbers, they give their old lines which they only switch on when they are in the village,

claiming that where they are working, their lines do not go through, since they are in remote areas.
Your siblings are smart, some relatives are better handled with this method.

Pinkydaisy, the most important factor here is your husband.

Is your husband the type that will help you with the kids and at the home front when you are out making money.

Is he the type that will ask for pounded yam pounded with mortar not machine when you come back at 8pm.

Its a major shift and everybody will have to adjust, if he won't adjust its a big problem and stress will be a major issue.

Its possible with his support.

That aside.

Take the job

Obviously, I cannot judge from just your side of the story.

But in my opinion, as long as the girl was of age, and her parents knew she intended to donate a kidney, and they discussed with their daughter before she flew out to Germany, what is their case? Especially with you?

Unless you went to help convince them to allow their daughter donate the kidney your boss. If you had reported the case to her parents as you claimed, and even tried to discourage her from donating, her parents wouldn't ordinarily have the effontry to warn you that; if anything happens to their daughter, you'll marry her.

You should have known something like this could happen and the parents would drag you into it afterwards.

When they promised to hold you responsible if anything should happen to their daughter, you should have reported the girl, and the parents to your people and [i]go straight to the police.[
/i]
You made some solid points.

The bolded is the main issue.

Somehow I think the OP might be saying the truth, just that he trusted/trusts his boss too much. Never ever vouch for any

A lot of things might have happened when oga and the girl lived together that he was not even aware of leading to her insistence of donating her kidney even when he and her parents advised her outrightly not to do it only God knows what oga told her that made her insist on helping him with her kidney. Never trust anyone

It was at this point OP should have spoken up made it a police case or even make her and the parents sign a legal agreement exornorating him from any incidence that might arise as a result of her insistence to donate her organ except he too had something to gain.

Whatever OP does he should not marry the corpse it very terrible spiritual consequnces let the Boss come and marry the corpse, he's the one that knew how he convinced a young lady to donate her kidneys.

My rent is due on Monday but I paid my landlord since two weeks ago, reason being that I wasn't having the whole money compete, I only had about 80% of my rent ready, so I did that in order to buy more time from my landlord. These Lagos Landlords doesn't joke with their rents. No excuse whatsoever, because most of them don't have other means of livelihood than to leech their tenants.. My landlord was was very pleased and I was happy as well..
Why would you call a landlord not joking with rent owed leeching.

Some people invest in properties as a business venture.

It seems a lot of people don't understand that a Landlord- Tenant relationship is strictly a business relationship.

@topic we also reminded our landlord about our rent during lockdown last year, the person in charge was surprise they felt we would use the lockdown as an excuse, the guy told us expressly that MR XYZ you tried oo to even pay with this current situation.

I was wondering why they felt we would hold on to the cash and use the lockdown as an excuse.

If you want to build your own house don't stress your landlord, pay as at when due if for any reason you default , communicate with him dome would be owing landlords and even doing gragra.

I don't think its right not to inform him about his Dads death, he should also be at the burial the only thing is to ensure he doesn't scatter the burial that's all and this can be achieved with the presence of security agents.

But if you are saying he shouldn't come for the burial at all that will be hard.

You can look for a cheaper school, unfortunately this depends on the state and area you live.

You are paying almost 20k per month per child which is 40k from a 110 k salary.

Is 70k enough for other expenses like rent, food stuff (crazily expensive these days) utility bills , savings and every every ?

If you can get the one of 100k per term( including books) or lower for both of them it would be nice.

So to answer your question, the fees are not okay considering your salary.
