Stone03:Read what you wrote again and check your numbers. When you're done figuring out your error, then you may want to state the correct distance of the Kano MAradi line since you claim that 284km isn't correct. |
Workch:In my original comment, I was responding to the content of the post and couldn't care less who exactly the poster was. In my first comment, I made my position very very clear that what was written in the original post was false and twisted trash. But then you still proceeded to quote me and asking if I think it was false? Questioning me despite my clear point simply meant one thing - you didnt agree with me. |
Workch:Oga quit this your attempt at being clever, we're are not in any law court here. Stop trying to twist the narrative. The Op dropped some twisted propaganda, I hinted that what the Op wrote was false, and then this was what you responded with: Workch:Okay since you're trying to play a smart lawyer, can you please tell me the meaning and the motive behind your above question? |
Workch: Workch:The very fact that you questioned me when I commented that the report was senseless trash, you were indirectly saying you believed it. You ask why I'm angry? I dont think I'm angry, just irritated at the way people spread fake sensational news, and even more irritated at how people swallow it. It's even more irritating that a sizeable chunk of those spreading and swallowing these things are educated. |
Workch: Imsoblessed:So you guys actually believe the nonsense too? Any nonsense you read online, you just swallow without thinking? Can you guys please name the refinery Nigerian government is building with $2billion of Nigerian money in Niger republic? Would be glad to hear it since you guys are so informed. Also, how did you and you arrive at the conclusion that Nigeria is spending $1.9billion for a railway in Niger republic? Last time I checked, the railway is 284km long and connects 3 Nigerian states (Kano, Jigawa and Katsina), but with a 55km extension from Jibiya (Katsina) to Maradi (Niger Rep). Is that the basis on which you made your bizarre conclusion that Nigeria is spending $1.9billion in Niger republic? Does that really make sense to you? Finally, your headline about these projects costing more than projects in southern Nigeria, for any sound human, is there really any need to discuss that? No sensible person supports spending a dime of Nigerian money elsewhere, but at least we can be sensible with how we throw about fake figures and statistics. |
Sometimes people just shit up stories from their anus and spread it on social media simply cos they know a lot of unknowing ignoramuses would be eager to swallow the poo. |
mrvitalis:What da hell do you mean by what you just wrote here? Every week there's a case of AK47s blasting in different parts of Owerri courtesy of some miscreants called UGM and you're asking me what part of the city is destroyed or how that affects the city negatively? Can someone really be so dumb not to figure out how these incidents affect the city? In the past 2 months, all the innocent people hit and killed by stray bullets from both the UGM and the military (including the 2 market women murdered today), do those deaths not represent a disruption of the peace?? The death of policemen and burning of police stations, isn't that a disruption of the peace and destruction of collective property? The nigh life in Owerri, the numerous businesses that would be affected by the disruption of the night life, that means nothing to you? And then you talk of Benue, what kind of silly diversion is that? What has Benue got to do with the idiots shooting up Owerri? Okay herdsmen are killing people in Benue and your bright solution is for criminals to destroy Imo state? Your thugs are shooting up my hometown and you're asking me why I'm not worried about Benue? What kind of STUPID question/reasoning is that? Vitalis you really make it difficult not to insult you with these your new found twisted views! |
mrvitalis:So in your opinion, Igbos destroying the once peaceful city of owerri is what you term "defending your land"?... Which kain mumu reasoning be this? |
These idiots are turning the peaceful ngwori city of owerri to a war zone and fools are hailing them. Next thing the military woukd sent in and the peace of the city would be history. Someone said it's because of injustice (perpetrated by Fulani govt); but then you wonder how Igbos destroying ala Igbo is a sensible response to the excesses of Fulanis in the north.. Common sense is indeed scarce. |
This story get k-leg... |
Everything to this Reno guy is a political topic to masturbate upon... |
The middle belt and SS will only make a move when they can see that the SW and SE are serious. |
The effrontry! The only problem with this is that some silly southern governors would be too scared to even implement the ban. |
KingsleyWabote:Cryptos arent going anywhere any time soon. Before we even get to July, BTC would have exceeded its previous high. What happened this week is a very normal occurrence; it's just a standard cycle which happens once in a while. the only reason it's trending is cos cryptos just got so popular in Nigeria lately and for the majority of current crypto traders in Nigeria, this is the first dip they're experiencing. Nothing new about this. |
THere's absolutely no way a person living in a glass house would be throwing the kind of stones Reno throws daily. This story can't be true. |
There's a kind of crime a person commits that goes beyond mere rough handling. If my child breaks a plate at home, I could spank the child. But there's a kind heinous crime the child would commit, spanking would be useless and even silly. |
tonididdy:Well, may it be known that you're the one who isnt an Igbo man. No need to hide behind any sentiments, you're a potential terrorist if you find the chance. |
tonididdy:So because he hosts Muslims, then he's not fit to be be called an Igbo man cos in your opinion, a true Igbo man should be someone who hates Muslims? What's the difference between you and those sick rabid beasts called bokoharam? |
BKayy:boko haram |
OneTemplate:Lol.. only God knows the kind of computer you're using. |
Ginaz:Respect still remains one of the oldest and most potent mumu button for men generally. But there's one condition that has to be fulfilled before that button (or any button at all) can work - the man has to like the woman. |
PoshTraveler:When you're big, you're big! ...and people will naturally hate you for that. |
Mikecold:There we go again... If Dangote is not a business man, then what exactly is he?.... What exactly does he do that all other businessmen dont try to do around the globe?... Is it his fault that he's very strategic and plays the game best? Since when has it vecome a xrime to 'win'? Dangote has single handedly saved the govt and Nigeria's economy by doing what no single govt since 1980's has been able to do. Dangote's refinery after providing several thousands of jobs directly and indirectly, will also single handedly save Nigeria more than half of its forex outflow, resulting in better value for the Naira and ripple economic effects.. The big question is, is Dangote the only one who gets govt patronage?... What have the rest done with the priviledge? On the micro scale, what has Ibori or his Ayiri done to improve the economy of Delta state? |
Is that preaching or just gisting with friends? |
Lol.. what a thread ![]() |
Lol... |
jesmond3945: jesmond3945:But there's a condition attached to this news report you posted, a condition that hasn't been met, and may never be met. A large population of Israelis have received the vaccines and it appears to be working very well for them. The Israeli govt is currently on the verge of lifting the last bits of lockdown restrictions and things have almost fully returned to normal. With Israelis now going about their normal businesses, organising large parties without care, the minister in that report is only warning that a vaccine resistant version of the virus may enter Israel soon, and IF that happens, they will be forced to fully lockdown again. This isn't the same thing as saying "Israel is preparing another lockdown". |
jesmond3945:Israel it was reported is preparing to lift the final lockdown restrictions for good; where did you get this info from that they preparing for another lockdown? |
oguns222:1. That you have a bullet proof vest on does not mean you should go standing carelessly in front of flying bullets. What if the bullet proof vest doesnt work for you? No drug in this world is 100% efficient, likewise the covid vaccines, they cannot be 100% efficient for everyone. This really should be common knowledge. 2. The vaccine doesnt exactly stop you from contracting covid19; rather it prevent you from falling critically ill if you catch the virus (which is typically how most vaccines work). So after taking the vaccine, whilst you may still catch the virus but not fall ill, you can still go around spreading the virus to others who may not have had the vaccine. The two above points are the reasons you're advised to still use your mask and be careful even after getting the vaccine. Being careful and cautious is a virtue. |
