Last time I checked, the railway is 284km long and connects 3 Nigerian states (Kano, Jigawa and Katsina), but with a 55km extension from Jibiya (Katsina) to Maradi (Niger Rep). Is that the basis on which you made your bizarre conclusion that Nigeria is spending $1.9billion in Niger republic? Does that really make sense to you?

Finally, your headline about these projects costing more than projects in southern Nigeria, for any sound human, is there really any need to discuss that? No sensible person supports spending a dime of Nigerian money elsewhere, but at least we can be sensible with how we throw about fake figures and statistics.

Dangote's refinery after providing several thousands of jobs directly and indirectly, will also single handedly save Nigeria more than half of its forex outflow, resulting in better value for the Naira and ripple economic effects..

The big question is, is Dangote the only one who gets govt patronage?... What have the rest done with the priviledge? On the micro scale, what has Ibori or his Ayiri done to improve the economy of Delta state?

But there's a condition attached to this news report you posted, a condition that hasn't been met, and may never be met.

A large population of Israelis have received the vaccines and it appears to be working very well for them. The Israeli govt is currently on the verge of lifting the last bits of lockdown restrictions and things have almost fully returned to normal.

With Israelis now going about their normal businesses, organising large parties without care, the minister in that report is only warning that a vaccine resistant version of the virus may enter Israel soon, and IF that happens, they will be forced to fully lockdown again. This isn't the same thing as saying "Israel is preparing another lockdown".

A real vaccine should protect you from infection even if you are exposed to it in the future.

This one does not. So, it is not a vaccine.

1. That you have a bullet proof vest on does not mean you should go standing carelessly in front of flying bullets. What if the bullet proof vest doesnt work for you? No drug in this world is 100% efficient, likewise the covid vaccines, they cannot be 100% efficient for everyone. This really should be common knowledge.

2. The vaccine doesnt exactly stop you from contracting covid19; rather it prevent you from falling critically ill if you catch the virus (which is typically how most vaccines work). So after taking the vaccine, whilst you may still catch the virus but not fall ill, you can still go around spreading the virus to others who may not have had the vaccine.

The two above points are the reasons you're advised to still use your mask and be careful even after getting the vaccine. Being careful and cautious is a virtue.
