RomanceLadies, What Made U Do It? by obstead200(op): 11:10pm On Jul 06, 2010
I was discussing with a lady, a casual friend of mine recently and our discussion somehow veered into sex and the issue of virginity.

The lady informed me, and swore on her mother's life that she is still a virgin.

Given the fact that she is a very beautiful and sexy girl, in a highly impressionable environment (a university campus) and she has no visible or obvious moral or religous convictions that would have prevented her from being deflowered, i naturally became curious and tried to find out from her, why exactly, and how, she has been able to keep herself all these while in the campus. Her answers were not satisfactory enough.

i decided that I would probably obtain more information if I could do a reverse engineering (i mean reverse research) on the control variable (i.e ladies who are no longer virgins)

so I have a question for such ladies on NL. I knw there are Lots of them (no offence meant please).

what was the immediate factor (i.e influencing factor) that led to your being deflowered? In other words, WHAT MADE U DO IT?

was it: pressure from your boy freind (i.e u dnt want to hurt his feelings)?
was it to show appreciation for the lots of things he has done for u?
was it because u were forced (as inn despoiled)
was it due to the fact that all your friends have done it and dey tell u it was a wonderful experience?
was it just an impulse nu got??

Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Nigerians Be Allowed To Have A License To Own Guns/firearms by obstead200(m): 10:45pm On Jul 06, 2010
Just like chris  rock once said in one of his comedy shows, I think naija should be allowed to own guns but not bullets.
make bullets sooo expensive that one would have to think twice b4 using one. then we can hear pple making statements like
" I'm gonna blow your f''kin head off if only I can afford a bullet!

but dont worry, i'm gonna work hard and save a year's salary so that i can buy a bullet. then u'll be a dead man!" grin grin grin grin grin
Christianity EtcRe: What Do Rastafarians Really Believe In? by obstead200(m): 10:34pm On Jul 06, 2010
They follow the Great Ethiopian Emperor Haile Sellasie who was also called Ras Tafari.
that was very educative. never knew that b/4. @poster, thanks a lot.
CultureRe: African Ladies Abroad Carrying Babies On Their Back!(Dirty Clothes) by obstead200(m): 10:32pm On Jul 06, 2010
U guys are not addressing the most obvious issue.
This thread is a farce. the pic in the post is obviously, ( i mean very obviously) not a western country scenery. it is most likely from Niger republic or Guinea.
RomanceRe: nice one by obstead200(m): 10:23pm On Jul 01, 2010
Nairalanders,
my own case is slightly different from the poster's. I also have a good Job and get more than my fair share of female admirers. Like one poster said, the age btw 25 and 30 is always wonderful for men. I am less than 30, live in a flat and drive a jeep. so as far as most girls are concerned, i am successful in life.
the issue now is that I am tired of rolling in the hay with these girls and I want to settle down. Ironically, non of those girls appeal to me as a wife material. I had to let all of them go. I decided to proceed on a mission: operation "search for a wife", and, e no easy oooooo! the only lady that appeals to me in every perspective does not seem to be eager to date me, not to mention marrying me. I spend sleepless nights wondering what the hell I shall do to get her to at least give me a chance to proove myself and my love to her. na wa ooo!

so my advice is this: use your good standing to get the best girl among them (i.e the one who truly loves you) and marry her as soon as you can.

PhonesRe: Etisalat's New Data Plan (For Browsing) by obstead200(m): 10:11pm On Jun 07, 2010
am sorry, but i think etisalat internet sucks!
I presently use it and I can tell u that for the past 4 days, i'v not been able to access anything on the internet. I was even suprised that i could browse the internet 2day.
if not for the fact that I use the phone to make calls on N15/min to all networks, I wud have dropped it like hot coal and gone back to zain internet!

I just wish MTN could give us a more affordable internet plan, like there counterparts in zain and etisalat.

Pls MTN staff on this forum, pls let those theifing mgt in ur office knw this.
CareerRe: I Caught My Colleagues Stealing by obstead200(m): 9:55pm On Jun 07, 2010
my advice is simple.
if u stand to be implicated in anyway, either now or in the future, by his deeds (and of course u do) then report him immediately but discreetly.
If his stealing brings down the company, u will be without a job.
I'm sure u dont want that.
TV/MoviesRe: $40 Million Movie 'Sole Redemption' To Be Filmed In Ekiti by obstead200(m): 9:43pm On Jun 07, 2010
Nigerians are so gullible!
cant we see that this is just another white elephant project thru whic the governor of that state and his cronies will spirit away a substantial part of public funds?

A UK film costing $40m indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RomanceRe: My Girl With A Pennis by obstead200(m): 9:09pm On May 30, 2010
he said hemaphrodite lol i guess the poster has never heard of transexuals and transvestites

Poster sounds to me like you are bi-curious. By the way when you saw the pe nis what did you do? because if you are here asking us what to do that means she is either in the other room waiting for you to bend over or you already tried it which has rendered you confused which is why now you want to figure out what next
ROFLMAO!!!
RomanceRe: Let's Be Sincere (virgins Beware!) by obstead200(m): 8:11pm On May 30, 2010
if not for condoms, pills and, on one or two occasions, abortion, I would have fathered a whole kindred by now. A street filled with my offsprings should have been named after me by now. my children born within a year will be enough for a classroom grin grin

But u know the funny thing, finding galfriends is very easy. But now, I want to get married and I'v come to discover that finding a wife is not easy at all. The only girl I love enough to want to settle down with does not seem to give a damn about me. I've been trying for some time now to impress her and get her to look favourably on me. am still hoping to succeed though.
BusinessRe: Can Anybody Tell Me What Is The Best And Worst Paying Jobs In Nigeria. by obstead200(m): 5:37pm On May 30, 2010
Payment, or (reward) is not only to be measured in monetary terms. there could be many more forms of reward for working. e.g job stability, job satisfaction, career growth, self respect e.t.c.

having said that, the best paying job would be ur own business-- if you do it right.
the worst paying job could also be your own personal business, if go about it with the wrong attitude.

The bottom line here is that there is no best or worse job in life. it is all about you.
Science/TechnologyRe: Nigerian Scientists Develop Fuelless Generator by obstead200(m): 1:10pm On Apr 13, 2010
Either the journalist or the 419 who calls himself a scientist, or both of them, are pure idiots.

I only thank God 4 NL peeps. Most are too smart to be conned by these lazy amatuers. I just wish all naija pple are just as smart.

I dont wish to comment on the subject matter. Other pple have said it all.
EventsWhich Would U Prefer Most; Comedy Or Music by obstead200(op): 11:49am On Mar 30, 2010

I'm conducting an opinion poll 2 determine which sort of entertainment trips nigerians the most.
Would u rather attend a stand up comedy show or a music/dance show?
TV/MoviesDo U Still Watch Nigerian Films? by obstead200(op): 11:39am On Mar 30, 2010
The naija movie industry sucks! My family has placed a total ban on watching naija films. Reasons:
1. the storyline is always heavily faulted logically.
2. The costuming is appalling. It is a common sight 4 a rich man (for instance) in the story 2 appear wearing an old, rumpled and ill fitting Aba made suit.
3. They keep using the same actors n also keep writing scripts in basically the same story line.
4. Worst of all, the dialogue is so dry, lacks innovation and is totally predictable.

Post other reasons why u feel naija movies sucks

PoliticsRe: Co-passenger Forced Out Of His Seat For Sitting Close To A Governor by obstead200(m): 11:06pm On Mar 13, 2010
@obstead200, if the governor needs to be protected, he should buy his own plane. There is not justification for what he did. Just shows the mentality of the people that rule us. If you feel you cannot relate with the people you rule, then you are not fit ti be governor, they should impeach the idiot
Even in developed countries with a very strong system of democracy, the security of high ranking public officers are not compromised on the flimsy excuse of equality for all.
like I said before, the blame falls squarely on the governors protocol officers and the airline pple for not making adequate arrangements to prevent the mix up.
If that oaf of an aide de camp knows his job, that flight would have been booked at least 3hrs b/4 his excellency's boarding. he only needs to tell the airline that a VIP is coming aboard and they will make arrangement 2 either relocate the passenger or refund him.

I see no wisdom im in asking his excellency 2 buy his own jet. that is uncalled for and would amount 2 gross miss use of public funds.
FamilyRe: My Marriage Is Crashing Please Help by obstead200(m): 10:25pm On Mar 13, 2010
I dont know what 2 say. one of the reasons why I'm scared of getting married is that I feel I would eventually end up treating my wife badly when her beauty wears off b/4 my eyes.

But I think the problem is more foundamental. Your husband is obviously tired of seeing ur face. (4get all his silly excuses).
the basic question is; why did u marry him?, and why did he marry u? was it because of love? understanding? beauty? economic benefits? e.t.c

All these things are good reasons 2 get married, but hw many of them are guaranteed to last 4 a lifetime?

A friend of mine once told me that the most important thing in getting married is tomarry ur friend , ur spouse must 1st and 4most be a friend b/4 anything else. marry smone u share a genuine chemistry with. someone u enjoy talking to, because after beauty, riches, maybe even love is gone, the only thing that keeps u 2gether is that friendship, that conversation.

sorry 2 say, but u dont share this with ur spouse. dat is why u'v got issues. he is tired of u cos he just discovered u guys, apart from having a kid, has nothing else in common. unfortunately u are unlucky enof 2 marry someone aso selfish that even the fact that u have his kid does not give him any sense of commitment.

sorrry, but your only option might be to leave him after all. but b/4 u do dat, seeing a counselor might be a good step. it might help u guys discover some connection.
PoliticsRe: Co-passenger Forced Out Of His Seat For Sitting Close To A Governor by obstead200(m): 12:38am On Mar 13, 2010
I do not blame the governor. he has to be protected. It is his right.
I blame the very daft and stupid protocol officers who do not know that for maximim security, all the seats in the Business class is to be reserved for His excellency and his aides. That is standard security procedure which that fool of an ADC should know and be practive enof to act on at least 3hrs before his excellency boards the plane.

The airline is also stupid. they should have immediately realocated a seat to the affected persenger and also arrange a refund.

If I were the passenger, thank God he is a lawyer, I will sue the living daylight out of the airline.

Please, I have a question for those in the civil service.

When they say someone is on CONTISS 7 (N579,391- N857,305), Does this amount represent total take-home pay (less taxes) or are there some other allowances not included in the above package?
Christianity EtcRe: Abortion: Same As Murder? by obstead200(m): 4:01am On Feb 24, 2010

PoliticsRe: Civil war not against Ndigbo — Gowon by obstead200(m): 8:48am On Feb 16, 2010
I do not blame those who ask we igbos to forget the past because that is probably the only way to heal the wounds.

However, I would strangle to death pple like bluetooth who come to this forum and speak rubbish.

the war was against igbos and the goal was simple: let us have the oil or you will be annihilated.
horrible events which over qualified to be classified as war crimes took place in that war. Yet our COLONIAL MASTERS, british and americans, never saw them. nobody was tried for them.

I can forgive the hausas and Gowon for all the injustice. they use to be stupid in orientation back then.
but I cant forgive the main ochestrators, the our colonialists.

It is just Ironical that we Igbos are now the closest to them. we fall over ourselves to please them and visit their country.
PoliticsRe: US Backs Jonathan As Ex-lawmaker Sues Nass by obstead200(m): 3:49pm On Feb 14, 2010
The U.S are beginning to get annoying, must they interfere
in everything that happens in other countries,
they are the biggest busybodies I have ever seen.
herer

No, they are not busybodies.

they are glorified colonialists, oppressors, bandits seeking to protect their selfish interest not minding if the masses in Nigeria suffers as a result of their actions.

Observe carefully, u will notice that those devils called americans hardly intervene in areas where they have no economic interests.
PoliticsRe: What Immediate Action Do You Expect From Jonathan? by obstead200(m): 7:50am On Feb 13, 2010
I've long had this conviction that every Nigerian president comes to power with one thing in mind: To make sure he loots more money, oppress more of the masses, make more stupid and ineffective policies and in general ensure that he leaves the country worse than he met it. he swears to ensure that he makes a new record as the worst president so far, worse than his predecessor.

sory, call it lack of faith if u want but I have no reason to believe goodluck will be any better. That is why I have never cast a vote in the last 10yrs.

But if he chooses to be good, then let him do the following.
1. solve our power problem once and for all. every other thing will fall in place.

2. force all major oil companies to compulsororily buid and maintain at least a refinery each in this country and stop fuel importation, no matter who is reaping the rewards. it will save us billions of dollars in FX and make the naira stronger.

3.make, and strictly enforce strong policies concerning comsumption of locally made goods. what ever can be manufactured locally MUST NOT be imported. clothes, food, fuel, furniture etc.

4. rejuvenate the agricultural sector to ensure we dont go hungry.

5. completely overhaul the police force and other law enforcement agency. fill them up with pple of intergrity. if we must win the war against corruption we need to start from there.

If Goodluck can do all these, I will gladly die, defending Nigeria

sorry baby,

these replies above are just what u need to hear. I will not belabour u by repeating them.

I only have one statement for you.
An african proverb says " you will only end up choking if u decide to plunge your two fists into ur mouth at once" meaning; you can only choose one person and make the other person an opportunity cost, a foregone alternative.

you can only try, but we only have one world; so u cant have the best of two worlds!

After that, I have never loved a girl with all my heart. I only luv with 30% of my heart. when u break dat one, e go pain me small, but I go carry the remaining 70% waka comot.

And moreover, I ensure that all my investments in gals have a payback period of less than one month. so provided I don chop, u fit waka pass, e no go too pain me.
RomanceRe: Can You Marry A Virgin Man ? by obstead200(m): 11:38pm On Feb 09, 2010
This world don spoil finish.

The truth is that virginity in men is NOT and NEVER seen as a virtue. either by men or by women. guys are to be adventorous; it is part of their God given nature to want to put the ATM card into an ATM machine.

Even for born again christian brothers, it would be understandable if u decide to backslide for sometime to go and eat the forbidden fruit. (I'm not saying u shud do it ooooo)

But it is important that the man teaches the woman (not the other way round) Take it or leave it; One of the most effective way to establish your dominion and leadership over your woman is ur actions in the bedroom. If she rules u there, so help u God she will rule ALL your life.
