Irreconcilable differences is a no-fault grounds for divorce, which means neither party committed any sort of extenuating act, such as adultery, abandonment or extreme cruelty. In other words, no-fault divorce is just like it sounds—no single party is at fault for the breakdown of the marriage.

what kind of Karishika Father is that?... Even if you are not his blood, what is the big deal.. Is that how he should be saying things..

God!! Just may be, one day when u got some unreasonable money that u don't mind throwing around, secretly take some sample and conduct a paternity test. if he is your father throw the test result on his face and tell him you were moving on. that you did it just to prove that your mum was innocent.

Your story can make a nice Nigerian movies.. the only disappointment was that Ernest Obi have already acted a similar version where he was named POKA-MESSIAH..That might be when you were a toddler I guess.. I can't remember the name of that movie though..

As for your question on how to unfriend a cultist, one solution is relocation. Tell him u are going South but pack your bag and head North.
When u have done that, u start afresh on a clean slat. U Destroy your simcard, get another. and start all over. Don't give anyone he knows your new number. Then stay way from socialmedia like Facebook etc.

Another Option is Becoming a "Born again " I don't know how you will pull this second option off because u are almost an addict when it comes to drugs. Taking bible to pretend as if u were preaching would be risky, because he might bring out the drugs and dangled that on your face and u throw the bible at a different corner.

Third Option, U can always be a smoking friends with him without getting involved in his cult activities.. U have already graduated, it's not as if u will be forced into joining. Except if u still have the mindset of a toddler..

I don't just understand the big deal

The question is Where u packing lunch for your spouse before giving birth?

if yes, What stopped u from doing so after coming out from maternity leave of 6 months?

Or did You deliberately ignore the fact that you should pack some lunch for him because he was not complaining only to find issues when the mother decided to do it.. Stop trying to pick up fight or issues where there are none issues.

Assuming you were concerned about your husband's food intake, u would have been preparing the food and nicely informed him that it wasn't a burden on u cooking for him...

I guess when there are too much peace at home, it's not so cool for some people. They try their very best to fish and fish until they fish out something that will make the whole house vibrate. Oya go and confront him for your own peace of mind.. it will help u to practice more on your disagreement and argumentative skills.

I have talked, adviced bit like I wrote up there this one he did this time touched me

I don't really get angry with him cuz his my padi but hey he deserved it
And if he tries it next time , I'll do more
There's this Igbo adage I heard more than a dozen times that says Okra doesn't outgrow it's owner.. No matter how tall the okra is, when the owner comes, it will bend it and harvest the fruit.

As I said, that was your dad's responsibility to bend him.. no matter how tall he is..

As for u beating him dear... permit me to use broken English here because it's been a while..
"Na so e dey take start".. u raise your hands, u beat...you strikes him, he ignores u.. . U might mistakenly do that @ your matrimonial home one day/ in future thinking he was your brother.. If he's the type that acts before thinking, u will find your self in the hospital before Sorry and 100s of roses follow. By then, u would have received much pain.. Refrain from physical assault so that you won't get used to it.

I just hope that you won't start slapping any man u have disagreement with mistakenly thinking he was your younger brother. Violence is never the solution.

Every dad that i know got the look or ways they get to their children. Are u telling us that your dad doesn't have the "I am disappointed with you/ Are u talking to me like that " kinda look that puts the fear of God into some kids mind..?

Even without talking, kids do maintain their level when they spots that look..

Family › Re: Monogamy Is Unnatural by Richy4(m): 1:23pm On Jan 03, 2020
Izigha:
According to live science only about 5% of all animals are (socially) monogamous, socially in the sense that even those animal from time to time will seek out another mate. Now as far as humans are concern monogamy is a learn behavior, socially impose on us for the good of the society but very detrimental for the individual and anathema for a real casanova like my humble self.
Evolution favors promiscuity cos relying on a single mate is risky business, especially during our evolutionary journey and to some extent today when we have got this far. As a society humans have gone very far, but have our brain evolve to what society expect of us?
As guy i will focus more on the male species, I have male friends, family members, business partners married or in relationships none will not cheat when giving the opportunity. It is imprinted in our DNA. So why do we delude ourselves taking vows up and down to only be with one mate till death.
I think the idea of one mate was to solve a problem of imbalance, and to help us multiply as a species. looking back in time powerful people like kings, sultans where getting all the females and locking then out of the reach of other males. imagine King Solomon along having 700 to 1000 females lock out of the reach of other males in the name of marriage, if that continue unabated alot of able body males with be without females to mate with, which will decrease our gene pool not to talk of massive konji in the society that might leads to a revolution.
having solve that problem, and as a race humans have been highly successful, it is not time we look into solving this problem of cheating that we have artificiality manufacture that is now breaking up the society that we have successfully created.
Your critic and input are welcome

I'm glad you have friends that will never cheat on their Spouse man.... But what I want to understand is Are u for the motion or against the motion.. U should know that marriage is a contract and a contract is a legally binding agreement that recognises and governs the rights and duties of the parties to the agreement...
When u were comparing humans with some animals, have you made out time to study the Lion? A Lion will kill other lions including the male cubs just to be with the lioness and be the alpha in the pride. is that the kind of natural behavior u want human to exhibit? If that is the case, then it is better for us to maintain the unnatural act of monogamy.

Family › Re: What Are You Grateful For In 2019????? by Richy4(m): 11:38am On Dec 31, 2019
Ok let's see, I guess this is the kinda thread that permits one to derail right?

So let me say that I am thankful for good health and the fact that none of my family members encountered death this year. Unlike 2017 that was almost like a harvest.

I am thankful for the kind of family that I am blessed with. The family that stands by me in every spheres of life. Even when I ignore them they were there like Cancer that refused to be eradicated.

On a lighter note, I am happy that at my age, I can boast of 110 push ups grin.. Growing up in a boarding school those long long time ago, I was wonderful with tracks and field but never knew what to do when it comes to push up.. U can agree with me that when your mates knows what u can't do, They will never let U stay in peace.. it becomes a challenge..U won't even wanna try because u are scared of being laughed at.. I remembered that what I usually do back then was ignore them, go to my locker, take my cup,put cornflakes, sugar and powdered milk , put water, soak it and starts drinking while looking at them like they were the silliest human that walked on the planet .. meanwhile deep down I was envying them..

One of my 2019 new year resolution was to be fit.I told myself that I can do it.. I woke up @5am on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).. jogs for one hour. Sometimes got beaten by rain on my way which was totally annoying. But all the hard work paid off. I can even see some definitions people calls 6packs.The last time I saw that was when I was 19.. which was like million years ago until fast food and junk food took over.. I can't believe I could do it but I did it..

So my dear family members here on NL.. I may have been annoying based on some of your posts..I may have given some good advice.. I may have given wrong ones... I may have been cheeky too.. I may have replied angrily this year. We are family right? We fight and makeup too.. let us start with a new slat.

This is Richy4 signing off this year and wishing all of u all a happy brand new year.

lilwetdick:
single mothers and young women of 25 are living in their own apartment far away from their parent but nobody find it wrong that a single 38 years old woman is still living in a room in her parent's house. what a adult!
I didn't want to join in the conversation but when I saw these, u made it look like a sin or taboo for a 38years old single lady to stay at her family home. there are so many reasons why a 38years old can stay with their parents. I will only give 4 points not to convince you but to tell you.

1. If she is an only child.... In this case who is in a better position to stay there other than her. The home will look empty without her.

2. Affluent style of living.... There are people who live in a kind of lifestyle that they can't even see another person for days. If their home is spacious and no one was encroaching on anyone space or intruding, so why would she leave the house?

3. Workplace closer home... If they have a very big house and her place of work is very close to her family home, apart from privacy, do u think it is economically wise for her to rent a house somewhere else? ..

4. Parents insisting... Some parent will never throw their children away even if they were 50.
In my home town, We don't throw our female daughters away. Our female daughters are always welcomed anytime any day. If they want to marry, it's their choice.. and on the occasion they said they are through with marriage, they arefer are always welcomed back because they are the daughters of the land .. What every man in my town hated so much was for a boy or man to humiliate their daughters.. we usually take them back. As a matter of fact family members would suggest for her to leave... (not that I am encouraging this but we value our female daughters alot)

So yes a female of 38 can stay with her parents. The major reason people decides to leave their parent's home was privacy and intrusion from siblings. If there are 97% independent, privacy and devoid of intrusion, why would any reasonable person move.

Yea I know that feeling man... Do not hold it against him...though most good/ potential business men are prone to be selfish...

He didn't intend doing that to you now, that's just who he is.. Just that you were monopolizing everything as a team player and you fail to pick the signs long time ago and now it came as a rude shock to you.

It's just like having lots of friends in which you were always there for them in good time and in bad, but when the time comes for them to be there, u won't find anyone. it hurts..

I will advise you to learn how to be a brother/ friend to people without expecting anything in return.. ie if you can do it.. with that, you won't get hurt.. because you were not expecting much..
