Let's stop all these lamentation because it won't solve any of our problems. Pa Awolowo transformed western region without university education but with standard Primary & Junior secondary education (Iwe Mewa) certificate at age16 with that you can start working (German standard). What stop our present Southwestern region from following the procedure because Primary and Secondary schools system are under their control. The only solution to our problem is let for us in Southwest to copy german Education system and Bologna declaration, Turn all our universities to research university. Teaching STEM in our own language(Yoruba) and English, and taking any foreign language of your choice.
Where will they get the resources to pursue such plan...
Besides F.G basic educational policy supersede that of regional or state govt....
Go to state ministries of education....
It's dead, nothing goes on there....
Moreso, tertiary education curriculum is designed by NUC or NABTEB.....
Universities must follow the curriculum if they are to be accredited....

I haven't read any official report stating that the pilots actually switched off the MCAS. ( not just turn it off but actually deactivate it).

I would very much appreciate a link to any of such or similar report.

However, if they did, then chances are they did it when the plane was already plunging down to the ground.
Yes they did....
The pilots followed every Boeing 737 max protocols.....
Black box actually proved the pilots switched off the MCAS and tried flying the plane manually, but the plane wouldn't gain altitude......
Pls let's put the blame at the right feet, which is that of Boeing....
They built a plane with very faulty design....
The 737 max was a disaster in waiting and the world did well to have it grounded.......

All these talk about experience of the pilots are just excuses.....
Africa's entry into regular flight transportation is very much recent compared to the rest of the world.....
So, I don't understand where people expect African airlines to get adequate number of pilots with gazillion flight hours.....
People may say we should employ foreign pilots, but if we don't train our own and allow them in cockpit.....
How are they going to acquire the skills and the flight hours needed to be experienced pilots....

Pls we Africans should take pride in ourself for once and not allow inferiority complex override our sensibility....
Boeing and the FAA messed up big time on this issue and will need to do a lot to regain public trust....

A village source told our correspondent that Ohaneme was irked that Ekwebelem had repeatedly turned down his relationship proposal to her.

City Round gathered that while the murderer hails from Umuohum Umuna in the Onuimo LGA of the state, the slain teenager, who was to sit for Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in June, hailed from Ikpem.

TravelBoeing Is Taking Responsibility In The 737 Jet Crashes That Killed 346 People by SIRTee15(op): 12:06am On Apr 05, 2019
Boeing's CEO admitted on Thursday that a failure of its software was one of the causes in the recent deadly 737 Max jet crashes.

Dennis Muilenburg said a new software update would prevent future incidents.

"It's our responsibility to eliminate this risk," Muilenburg said in a video message on Thursday. "We own it, and we know how to do it."

Muilenburg's acknowledgement of Boeing's responsibility came after the release earlier Thursday of a preliminary report on the March 10 crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which killed all 157 people on board. In the report, Ethiopian investigators said the jet's pilots followed all safety procedures before the crash.

Though the pilots followed procedures, the report said false sensor readings activated the jet's automatic system against stalling, known as the Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System, or MCAS. The jet nose-dived minutes after takeoff, similarly to when Lion Air Flight 610, another 737 Max, crashed last October and killed all 189 people on board.

The crashes prompted airlines and international regulators to ground their 737 Max jets, and pilots accused Boeing of failing to train them on the MCAS system.

On Thursday, Muilenburg said a software update would be ready to implement within weeks.

"This update, along with the associated training and additional educational materials that pilots want in the wake of these accidents, will eliminate the possibility of unintended MCAS activation and prevent an MCAS-related accident from ever happening again,"

He said Boeing remained confident in the safety of its jet.

"When the Max returns to the skies with the software changes to the MCAS function, it will be among the safest airplanes ever to fly," he said.

A report on the cause of the Lion Air crash has not yet been released, and Muilenburg stressed that any air crash was the result of a chain of events. He added that he hoped Boeing would again earn the trust of air travelers.

"We at Boeing are sorry for the lives lost in the recent 737 Max accidents. These tragedies continue to weigh heavily on our hearts and minds, and we extend our sympathies to the loved ones of the passengers and crew on board Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302," he said. "All of us feel the immense gravity of these events across our company and recognize the devastation of the families and friends of the loved ones who perished."

PoliticsOgun Govt Abandons 30,000 Books Donated By World Bank At Lagos Port by SIRTee15(op): 10:31pm On Mar 31, 2019
His voice was tremulous on the phone that afternoon. But, after stating the purpose of his call, his anger, disappointment, irritation and frustration – all boldly reflected in his voice – seemed understandable.

Mr Benjamin Osibodu, a United States-based Nigerian, told our correspondent that sometime in 2017, he facilitated the donation of 30,000 books by the World Bank to schools in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, an initiative he said he was deeply excited about.

“I made the move hoping that officials of both the state and local government would be excited at the prospect of having such books contributing to the development of education in the state as well as lifting the burden of buying textbooks off indigent parents,” he said.

But, sadly, all his enthusiasm and expectation had paled into frustration and disappointment, because since about a year ago when the container arrived in the country, the local and state governments had abandoned the container at the port.

He lamented that all attempts to get the local and state governments to clear the container through customs, and more importantly, distribute the books to schools in the local government, had proved abortive. And beyond the seeming reluctance of the government to clear the container through customs, Osibodu lamented that the World Bank officials who facilitated the donation of the books already doubted his integrity and intentions.

Narrating the development to Saturday PUNCH, Osibodu, who is an indigene of Ilishan, explained that he initiated the process at the World Bank headquarters in Washington DC in March 2017.

He explained, “When I met the officials, they told me what the process was and that they would need all the schools that would benefit from it. When I came to Nigeria, I met the chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Mr Rotimi Akinsanya, and I requested for a list of all the schools in the local government.

“When I went back to the United States, I passed the list to the World Bank. The officials told me that the World Bank donate books to a lot of countries and that it’s based on rotation, so ours might take a while. But they said they would let me know when they were ready.

“About one year after, specifically, March 2018, they called me that the container was ready. And about that time, I needed to come to Nigeria, so I was able to meet with the chairman and tell him that the container would soon be in the country, and he said there was no problem. So, I later went back to the US.”

According to Osibodu, the ship berthed in Nigeria in June 2018 and he said he immediately informed the chairman so they could clear the container through customs.

He continued, “But for some time, I didn’t hear from him again, and the next time I visited Nigeria, I found that the chairman hadn’t done anything significant to clear the container through customs, which had been lying idle at the port.

“So, I asked him what we needed to do to clear the container and he said he would notify the office of the vice-president. He said he was in touch with an aide to the vice-president, and I asked myself what the container had to do with the vice-president, perhaps because he’s from that local government. I felt it wasn’t necessary, but it was his suggestion.

“When I saw that nothing was being done, I spoke with the person and volunteered to visit him in Abuja to facilitate how the container would be clear through customs but he said I shouldn’t bother and that he would take care of it. But nothing came out of it.

“After waiting for about three weeks, I went to see the Commissioner for Education and I explained everything to him. The commissioner said the state government should have been informed about it earlier, but I don’t think that was for me to do. And I told him to forget about what the chairman didn’t do so that we could focus on what to do. He said he had to take it to the governor, who would give a directive on what to be done about it.”

Undeterred by the reluctance of the officials to intervene in a project they should embrace swiftly, Osibodu said he went to the Secretary to the State Government.

He added, “Don’t forget that it’s not easy to see these people, but thank God for the little connections here and there. When I met the SSG, he was perplexed that the chairman didn’t inform the state government about it. So, I told him to let us put that aside and get this container cleared through customs.”

Osibodu lamented that his responsibility was to facilitate the supply and shipping of the books for the use of pupils in the state, hoping the government should be able to fast-track the clearing of the container through customs and ensure the prompt distribution of the books to schools.

“At the end of the day, I was thoroughly embarrassed by the way these people acted, because as of now, that container is still at the port. In fact, at a point, the local government chairman stopped communicating with me. I would call him and he wouldn’t answer the call. If I sent him messages, he wouldn’t respond,” he said.

Troubled by the enormous pressure he had come under from the World Bank, Osibodu said he was constrained to appeal to good-hearted Nigerians, especially Ogun State citizens, to prevail on both the local and state governments to ensure the clearing of the books through customs at the port.

“Having met with the commissioner of education and the SSG with none of them seeming to be personally concerned enough to do something, I’m appealing to Ogun State government to ensure that the books are released for the use of pupils in Ogun State.

“Ogun State should be a shining light to other states in Nigeria. For a state that produced icons like Nobel Laureate, Prof Wole Soyinka, and Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who was from that local government, it is quite shocking that those presently at the helm of affairs are unconcerned about the importance of books.

“I’m appealing for the intervention of the Vice-President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who is from the same Ikenne Local Government Area. For the sake of the future of Ogun State, the pupils need to read and access the world of opportunity to learn and grow, and so I’m calling on people who can to help,” he said.

Findings by our correspondent revealed that further delay in clearing the container through customs could lead to the container being seized and auctioned (as overtime containers) by the Nigeria Customs Service, in addition to the risk of the shipment being rerouted to another developing country where the books would be judiciously used.

To make sure his efforts didn’t go to waste, Osibodu said he went to Tin Can Island Port, where he was told he would need to get clearance from Abuja. “The Commander for Lagos was happy with the initiative, but he said he didn’t have the power to release it, without clearance from Abuja,” he said.

He added, “It’s as if we were going back and forth, whereas World Bank was putting pressure on me as regard the books. They still sent me a mail recently and I have not been able to respond, because I’m terribly embarrassed. The saving grace is that they got their office in Nigeria involved all along.

“These people (World Bank Group) spent a lot of money to send that container to Nigeria and it seems like Nigeria doesn’t care. Imagine having 30,000 books lying there at the port, doing nothing, when there are pupils who need them.”

As of November 2018, the estimate for clearing the container with lading number S314861401 through customs, had risen to about N4.5m. The sum covered the expenses for opening ‘Form M’ and PAAR, clearing agency fee, transport cost to Ikenne, estimated cost of shipping and terminal charges, which stood at N2,793,270 as of December 1, 2018.

Notably, the books were supplied under the Book Project of the World Bank Family Network, with the mission to assist in the education of children in developing countries through book donations. Under the scheme, the bank’s volunteers collect books, mainly school book and prepare them for shipping to developing countries’ public schools or community centres’ libraries, all sponsored by the World Bank.

He said against the wish of the bank, he had to go to the press, saying if government was not responding, someone somewhere might be able to do something if the story was published.

He added, “The bank said I shouldn’t do anything that would antagonise the government at any level because they cherish relationships and peaceful co-existence, but for me, all I want is for the books to get out and for them to get to the pupils, and I don’t want it to become political.

“It will be a shame if the books are left to rot in the nation’s port and Ogun State children are deprived of the rare opportunity to read the books which have the potential to transform the fortune of the nation.”

At the moment, Ogun State does not have Commissioners for Information and Education, Science and Technology, as they have both resigned, but the Chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Mr Rotimi Akinsanya, told Saturday PUNCH that he had tried his best on the matter.

He said, “Yes, he told me about the books and I bought into it, and that is the regret (I have). If you are giving us books, what we expect is that you bring the books to our doorsteps. It is not that I would go to the port to clear the books through customs.

“And even when it happened like that, I tried my best. I wrote letters here and there. If I had gone to Lagos and Abeokuta with you and the two of us even went to the port where we met some people and they gave us conditions and I continue to try my best. Yet, you say I’m nonchalant, what else do you want?

“If you want to give me something and that thing has not got to my hand, have you given it to me? I have read so many of his write-ups online and I didn’t find them palatable, so I have decided to sit back and watch.

“And like some people said, how sure am I that there are only books in the container? I know I have not done anything wrong and I don’t want people to dent my image. So, I don’t want to dwell too much on the issue.”

Meanwhile, when our correspondent contacted the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Taiwo Adeoluwa, he said the details should be sent to him via text message, but as of press time, he had yet to reply the message.

you still don't get it, you don't disrespect a king in those days irrespective of your reasons. A king is ABOVE all. He gives order, you OBEY. Its a great offence to be SUMMON by a King and failed to appear especially in the presence of others. Its a mixture of DISOBEDIENCE, RUDENESS and ARROGANCE

Esther made a request before the King at a time when she wasn't supposed to see the King but because it was done in HUMILITY her request was granted.

As regards the beauty contest, provide Bible verses to support your claims, don't just fill this place with beer parlor sayings
Kings of Persia rule by edicts and ordinances based on custom and tradition....
Their command isn't absolute....
For example, they don't have the power to reverse a law once enacted....
That's why king darius couldn't safe Daniel after he realised the law he passed was targeted at daniel.....
He couldn't say don't take Daniel to lions den, release him and let him go....
No, that order would be ignored....

And Esther herself would have been killed after her husband passed the death sentence to all jews orchestrated by Harman, if not that the king signed a counter law instructing jews to defend themselves....

Go and read esther 2.8-18 and tell me what it means to bring women to the kings harem and then each goes to his bed and spend a night with him....
So I guess the women join the king in speaking in tongue on his bed.... undecided undecided undecided

Read esther 2.12-14 very well and u will understand what the concubine beauty pageant was all about....
Esther was divinely favoured, that's why the narrative changed when it was her turn....
Of course, vashti didn't have such divine favour....
It had nothing to do with humility.....

Vashti was rude by not obeying the King.

Nothing stop her from coming before the King and state her reason for not wanting to dance.

Abraham OBEYED till the last minute when God decided to provide a ram as a subtitute for his only son for sacrifice.

A rí Ọbá fin, l'Ọ́bá ń pa

Compare the beauty pageant of today to the description given about Esther's appearance in the Bible.
Besides, it was their of choosing a new wife for the King.

Today's beauty pageant has nothing to do with culture or tradition
Guy, that request wasn't wasn't only about dance...
it was about displaying his wife as an object of lustful satisfaction to the public......
The jewish book of Midrash even wrote she was meant to appear nude with only the crown on her head.....
This was an insult and breach of custom for women in the Eastern mesopotamian culture.....
where women live in seclusion and are only expected to appear before their husband in privacy.....
The queen appearing will make her a subject of ridicule among the public in the entire kingdom....
Vashti knew she was struck between 2 evils immediately the summon came...
and kudos, she chose to go with the evil that will ensure her dignity and honour remain intact.....

Its important to state that vashti herself is from a noble background.....
she was the daughter of the former king of Babylon, Belshezzhar and the great grand daughter of king Nebudchadnezzar ...
she was raised a princess in a royal family in the palace and had lived an aristocratic life even before she became queen.....
So, she knew what dignity, honour and disregard for woman is all about....
Right from childhood she's been trained how to behave like a queen and when to NO to instructions that put her reputation at stake......

The drunken king forgot this and even went further to make further decrees that night banishing vashti from court.....
Later, when the king was much sober and likely regretful of his impulsive anger, he thought about vashti...
unfortunately, persian law once enacted couldn't be revoked.....

as per the beauty contest.....
Xerxes kidnapped those girls from their homes throughout his kingdom after losing the Greek war(remember the 300 movie)
and he slept with everyone of them before deciding who he will make queen....
Even in ancient Persian custom, that wasn't the right way to choose a queen....
Kings choose concubine in such demeaning manner.....
And I wonder how that's different from the nonsense they do today...
don't the girls sleep with organizers' of the pageant so they can wear the crown....
Christianity EtcRe: Who Is Esther ? by SIRTee15: 9:21am On Mar 31, 2019
Queen Vashti didn't do anything wrong, stop portraying her in a negative light....
If anything, she should be applauded for defying a stupid summon that intends to demean and ridicule her self-worth, just so that some intoxicated drunks can feast their eyes on her.....
she had the courage to maintain her dignity and self-respect by refusing to dance and parade herself in the presence of some drunken old fools....
she's a QUEEN not a tadpole dancer...
her self-respect and high character meant more to her than the crown. Rather than cater to the vanity and sensuality of drunkards, she courageously sacrificed a kingdom....
Vashti refused to lower the white banner of womanly modesty and that for me is a plus.....

What Xerxes demanded was a surrender of womanly honor, and Vashti, who was neither vain nor wanton, was unwilling to comply.
The only true ruler in that drunken court was the woman who refused to exhibit herself like a prostitute, even at the king’s command.
Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God...
and for that, queen vashti has got my respect.....

Even, the king regretted his action afterwards when he became sober and had a deep thought about the whole event....

BTW...
christians are quick to condemn today's beauty pageant as immoral and ungodly, but conveniently chose to omit the fact that Esther was crowned queen after competing and winning a beauty contest, organised by king Xerxes who's known for rampant debauchery and sodomy in his court....

But the cost and risk involved doesn't make it a better alternative....

Get urself a girlfriend, even if it's below your class or a girl from a lower socioeconomic background....
I don't really your own status, but just enter any of those post secondary school ancillary institution and get urself a girl with decent taste.....
They will be happy to date u....
Apart from the sex of a thing, she will help improve your social skills, mannerisms, and possibly change your wardrobe if it's awkward....
All the above will boost your confidence which is wjat u actually need to get a girl of your desire.....
U can't really eradicate masturbation completely, but u can control it, which I think u struggling with presently....

Finally, if u an eligible bachelor...
Maybe it's time u seriously consider getting married....
Start attending a church and be regular....
There always a surplus of readily available single women in nigerian churches....
At all at all, na him bad pass....
U sha must get hooked up with one, even if u don't really like her....
U can always keep an open mind and take it up from there....

another advice I'll give u is regular exercise.....
register with a gym and get active daily....
exercise helps relax your body and balance those raging hormones running wild in your blood...
If u can engage in swimming, that will be a huge plus.....
swimming stabilize your mood and makes u less tense, thereby improving your ability to self control and keeping your mind focused....

The above are the practical solutions and the earlier u consider them the better....
Chronic masturbation is a cause of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation....
So that it won't be like when u now really need to start shooting....

@bolded, The notice for demolition is not something of today, like I said in my first post the fence was first demolished more than 4months ago which to my expirience it is warning to vacate the property and enough time to appeal to good Nigerians to do something. The orphanage home should have reached out to people b4 now and make proper arrangement for the innocent kids. Like I v said b4 I symparthise with the home and the children but the development control and the court are just doing their job.

I felt the original land owner or the person that won in the court did not do the right thing, but I still did not blame him who knows may be that is all he also has in is entire life and that said land is worth range of 60 million naira.

The video is not hoax, it is real and I know the place and I even know some kids in the home personally, I just felt the video only passed half information.

There are rich churches close to the orphanage home Dunamis, glass church, foursquare, Redeem, christ embassy, Winners and Co, they are NGOs are and not paying tax, they could come up and raise fund for this orphanage home. All the pastor needs to do is preach about it, stoke up people's emotion and ask people to contribute to rebuild it.
The way u people reason in that country amaze me....
That u could find a way to justify the homeless sitation of those orphans is distasteful.....

For your info, it's the duty of the govt or whoever authorize the demolition to make adequate provision to relocate n properly accomodate those kids, not the orphanage....
The orphanage didn't render them homeless, the heartless land developer n govt did....
They had a shelter- illegal or not, b4 the bulldozer came to demolish it.....

Nigeria is a lawless nation n it's gradually turning into a jungle where the powerful eat the weak, in order to gain strength n stay on top the food chain.....
Unfortunately, ordinary citizens are buying into this ideology of wickedness n callousness, so long as it doesn't directly affect their own way of life.....

U mentioned the church should help, but u were quiet about the responsibility of the govt towards the children.....
Read the bible n see what God said about how a nation should provide for its orphans, widows, homeless, the poor.....
He hates nations that maltreat it's vulnerable....
God destroyed nations because of that....

U guys better be careful not to incure his wrath. God is slow anger but people's wickedness in that country is already overfilled.....

The marriage how is not scriptural....
It's neither a written or spoken ordinance from God....
It's man made and can be challenged....

It was invented by the western medevial churches as a necessity to ensure couples stay true to each other during hard times which was very much prevalent those times....

The church took it seriously during the bubonic plague pandemic in the 14th century, when it was common for the spouse to abandon the other partner if he/she becomes infected.....
The black death wiped out over 200 million people in Europe and the belief was that God was using the plague to punish sinners, and if u stay close to an infected person u will share in the punishment and get infected.....
This, so many infected people had no one to care for them....
The church wanted to discourage this and the marriage vow was one of the tool they utilized....

Moreso, the dark ages was a difficult time for the working class in Europe....
If u not from a wealthy or aristocratic family, then providing for your family may be tough....
The Roman Catholic church had to find ways to preserve the family unit which was under threat....

Eastern European churches don't have the marriage vows and some denomination don't use it either....
Some churches even allow couples to write and exchange their own marriage vows if they so wish....
Nothing is sacrosanct.....

Africa will always carry the blame even when is obvious that the incident is similar to the previous one smh
But the lion jet also had similar crash....
Both pilots were unfamiliar with the newly installed auto-pilot MCAS.....
The automated system is meant to prevent stalling anytime the plane attempts to turn it's nose towards the sky.....
However, due to faulty sensors or wrong simulation, the MCAS could force the plane to nose dive even when the plane hasn't stalled.....
Now all the pilot need to do is to switch off the autopilot and take control of the plane....
Provided the pilot has been trained and knows the right switch to turn off....
There was evidence the lion jet's pilot struggled with plane b4 it crashed.....
The Ethiopian airline also seem to have crashed nose diving.....

In my opinion, everybody should take the blame....
Why should Boeing alter the engine position of a plane in a way it forces it to stall....
That was a reckless decision and a needless invention....
To what gain....so the plane could be faster....

The auto pilot installation to prevent stalling wasn't foolproof and boeing knew this......
Twice now it has failed with fatal consequences....
Pilots all over the world had been complaining about this automated system and his complexity yet Boeing never made much effort to train pilots on the MCAS....

Airlines in order to cut cost would not give adequate training to staffs.....
Plane manufacturers will also not emphasis on adequate training of pilots in order not to lose customers....
It's a mess up situation with fatal outcome.....

Why don't we Africans make the head start in this innovation of parachute ejection....

We can encourage our universities, engineers and bright mind to look in this direction of technology....

Gabon doesn't have higher living standards than China. Nigeria doesn't have higher living standards than any white nation on earth. grin Trinidad doesn't have higher living standards than Portugal and Trinidad has more Indians than black people. ANd I don't know when China, India, Pakistan etc turned to white nations. Next time quote less stats, so it's easier to debunk them. But the very fact you have to hand-pick Gabon and Botswana which are pretty much 2 of very few successful sub-Saharan African countries you can count on one hand only goes to demonstrate the utter failure of the black race. And when I say "white", frankly I'm referring to Western Europeans and their legacy settlements in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc - not Slavic people of Eastern Europe.

Nobody tied economic development to "skin color". The point is whitey has proven himself for several centuries to be more industrious, enterprising, innovative and intellectually curious than black people. These are behavioral qualities harnessed over thousands of years of civilization, not due to skin color.

The correlation of race and IQ is about as established as the correlation of race and athleticism. Again, this correlation is what makes Jewish people the most successful ethnicity in every country they find themselves, and black people at the bottom of every country they find themselves. Jews are the smartest ass modafuckers on the planet basically (you can google any number of a billion papers studying the remarkable Jewish IQ). Black people aren't. Facts don't care about your feelings. I'm not being "racist" or whatever. Facts are not racist.
The correlation between IQ and race has been debunked by so many experts.....
Environment, nutrition and education has a lot to do with IQ.....

Arabs were ascribed a IQ below whites....
Yet no European city/city state can rival dubai or qatar when it comes to futuristic infrastructure....
Say what u like, but people of low IQ cannot turn a freaking hot desert into a successful global tourist attraction within a short duration....
It's not only the white man that has the desert magic wand....
If it's about oil, Norway or Canada can also try to pull it off and let's see...
At least they have lots of uninhabited lands.....

The same Arabs invented algebra, geometry, telescope....
This was at a time the so called white were still wandering the forest of Europe in animal skin.....
I hope u know Arabic numerals of 01234... was invented in Baghdad and developed in north Africa.....
How some white supremacist will then say such race has an IQ below them is amazing....
And for your info, Steve jobs was an Arab from Syria, don't let his name confuse u....

Africa under development is very complex and not as straight as u think.....
A continent of over 3000 tribes will definitely have challenges when it comes to communal development....
But I don't believe Africans have lower IQ than any race....

The most educated race in America right now is the nigerian American commumity, not the jews...
And race with the highest household income in America is the American indian community, not the jews nor the whites....
Think about that....

And why are u separating eastern Europeans from the white race.....
Oh...because they are poor....
So what's their race since u've rejected them as white....
It's obvious u dont fully understand what u talking about....
Russians were the Pioneer of space travel....
A lot of present generation Americans can trace their ancestry to Slavic Europeans who travelled en masse to America during the early twentieth century.....

abeg stop that "africans built civilization and phylosophies" thing. Those ones that where not even able to properly document their works and history? Most of the epistles you quoted up there to back up your useless defense are even from the alleged illiterates from europe and arabs.

Just accept they where just not good enough. EOD
Empires come and go....
Nothing is permanent....
There was a time latin was the official language of the world....
If u can't speak or write in Latin, u are deemed a stark illiterate...
Now Latin has been relegated to the shelves of university library remembered only for academic purposes....

Let no one lie to u....
Black built empire....
We had Timbuktu in Mali....
Timbuktu at it's peak, had a university even b4 European could dream of one....
It taught courses like medicine, mathematics, chemistry, physiology, astronomy etc...
It offered basic degrees as well as advanced degrees....
It boasted of a library with 50 thousand manuscripts and had over 20 thousand students....

Timbuktu once had a ruler who was deemed the richest man that ever liveth....
When he travelled to the middle east, the worth of gold he carried along crashed the price of gold globally....
And Timbuktu is in sub Sahara africa and had blacks as inhabitants....
Do u know the ancient Ugandans were performing successful CS even b4 the white man learnt the art....

And some ancient african civilisation already had well developed written languages e.g fulfude, shongai, bambara and they were used as medium of instruction....

Do u know the black moors conquered n ruled the iberia peninsula of Europe for more than 300 years....
Yes they were black men......

What the black man lack is the principle of self preservation and that's what we still suffering today....
We struggle to transfer knowledge and wealth from generation to generation....
And without the above skills, legacy can't be built....

Unfortunately, the present black generation seem worse off with their irritating mental slavery....
They won't see what some Arab countries and Asians are achieving and ask questions on how to develop Africa...
Rather, they will keep believing the lies of the white man that their fore fathers were savages and barbaric....

Look here , the white man is not necessarily astonishingly intelligent but he's very smart...U have to give the latter to him....
They destroy any civilisation they perceive as threat....
They use weapons of war to destroy and subjugate superior opposition.....
Then they subjugate their conquered subjects to eternal mental slavery and inferiority complex....
They know once u mentally defeated, u can never compete with them anymore.....

Other civilisation didn't see the need to develop advanced weapons of war because they never saw the need to engage in needless war in far away territories....
They were self sufficient....
Global interaction was all about trade....
Sell to me what u have and I'll sell unto u what I have in abundance....
But the problem was the white man had nothing in abundance....
So when the white man entered global trade, there was bound to be problem....

Lack of resources in Europe and greed, forced the white man to seek ways to colonize other lands through war, killing and raping....
They quickly developed the gun and mortar, using it's superior advantage to terrorize naive kingdoms....
That's what they did to carthage, Egypt, india and China.....

They forced Chinese leaders to open up it's borders and allow importation of opium....
So Chinese people could become cracked head.....
Now Chinese leaders have learnt and has become wiser in dealing with the whites....
Africans never learnt anything and still behaving like mumu thinking white man is superior to him....

The white would rather have u belief that your fore fathers were cannibals, walking around naked, living on trees like monkeys and competing with gorillas for survival.....
Then they brought Jesus and civilisation to africa and the black man became civilised.....
Therefore, u should be eternally grateful to the white man....

With that mindset, u will never ask critical questions about your people or your land....
U won't develop the cognitive ability to look within for development but would rather always want to copy the white man and be like him....
But no matter how hard u try, u will never attain his level of seccess by copying his ways and the white man knows this....
He owns the system, he understands it better and would always be ahead of u.....

The Chinese has shown the rest of the world, u don't need the white man system to develop.....
Chinese amazing development is a mystery to the whites, they can't comprehend it, neither do they know how to stop it except by war....
That's why they 've resorted to kidnapping of Chinese daughters......

Benin empirr had an extensive and well developed road network as at 1500 as testified by Dutch and Portuguese who visited the land....
Yet, nigeria struggles to build road in 21st century....

We won't open thread to discuss how our ancestors were able to bake bricks and construct roads.....
Yet we now rely on Chinese and Germans to build same roads.....
And we wonder why Africans are getting dumber....

False! When we are talking about Africa, we are talking about sub-Saharan Africa ; black African, not north Africa that had interactions with Europe and Asia stretching back centuries.
Sub Saharan Africa has always been the basket case of the world. We contribute little in terms of science, technology and even writing in human development.

Our main problem is our value system. We elevate vanity to a status symbol. We love to dance, sing, worship and sex more than any other higher endeavours. We did not and have not imbibed the culture of success through hard work like the Asians, or the culture of inquisitiveness through science like the Europeans.
Pls Timbuktu is located where....
The richest man that ever liveth came from there....
PoliticsRe: Why Are White People So Developed And Cool by SIRTee15: 10:22pm On Mar 14, 2019
I hope u know africa had universities before any European country...
In fact white people had to travel n learn how to establish a university from Africans before they could build oxford or cambridge universities....
Europe was a massively undeveloped and backward place at the time Africans and Arabs were building pyramids, sailing across the ocean or constructing roads....

What white man has above every other race is principle of self preservation....
The white man will never develop an area unless he intend to reside in the territory....
Before he does that, he destroys whatever civilisation or people that he doesn't understands or not his colour....
He destroys their culture and damage their psyche with inferiority complex.....
The Chinese and Asians has proven there's no big deal about the white man's achievement...
China lifted 850 million people out of poverty within 20 years....
A feat no other race has ever achieved....
Now Chinese are ahead in many advanced technology n catching up in other areas....
The most modern cities in the world right now with futuristic infrastructure are in china and middle east not Europe or america....

The black man can catch up and even beat other races if we drop our inferiority complex and religious dogma....
Embrace hard work, logical thinking, technology and emphasise on meritocracy.....
We were ahead before...
We can do it again.....

That's not the reason, Boeing is an America company, u don't expect them to ground their products, from some articles I read, even the American pilots are not aware of the new software boeing included to the plane.
To be fair all American politicians have called fro the 737 max to be grounded....
Trump had even said airplane should be manually controlled....
Airline crew union in America has announced their members are not safe working in 737 max....
American pilots association have assured pilots no one would be forced to drive the model ...
Even airlines have told the American public they can change their tickets without extra cost.....
Only FAA is doing strong head....
The truth is there's a flaw design with 737 max that should be investigated....
Boeing should ask itself if the fuel efficiency of just 14% is worth all this risk n public embarrassment....

For the guy yarning dust about well trained pilots....
2 accidents of a new plane model says a lot about the quality of training boeing gives the pilots who handles the plane.....
Manuals shouldn't be difficult to interprete, errors should be easily noticed n easily reversed if need be....
That's the essence of technology....
U don't need to be Albert Einstein to drive a plane....
Maybe trump is right after all....let pilots drive planes not software.....

While I'm entirely in support of Africa building our own technological capacity. My grouse with the US is their interference in a country's affairs. The Chinese might have plans for extending their reach into African resources, but US always have sinister motives whenever they offer you something.
Every country wants something....
There are no free lunch anywhere even in Freetown.....
China wants our resources, west wants to install their puppets...
For now africa can't stand on its own....
We need capacity building and technical assistance.....
What we should find a way to exploit this foreigners coming into our land....
We've been failing in this regard...
First with western nations and now China....
Africa should seek foreign partners for sustainable developmental initiatives on the continent...
Let there be technology transfer and capacity building...
Let's insist on value chain production on any resources extracted from the continent....
We should enter agreement that focus on capacity building and human development....
This is the only way we can grow and develop....
We should stop looking for saviours- be it America or China....

If there will be tech transfer, I rather go with American loans....even if the interest is higher....
Chinese will never agree with u on technology transfer....
They want to forever keep building for u.....
They write their manuals in Chinese letters that our engineers can't read....
They refuse to engage our engineers in critical areas of infrastructure they build for us.....

Let's be careful, Chinese are not our friends either....
Africa should wake up n think for itself....
Neither China or america will want africa to develop to its level...
Enough of hoping on external saviour....

What we need now is to think for africa and build for africa.....

When taking loans for infrastructure development...
Let's insist on technology transfer, training of local staffs, using local resources for the project, engaging local staffs in technical and critical areas of the sector, using local population in all areas apart from areas of technical expertise and that should have a limit......

We should embrace whoever is willing to do the above...
The nonsense of the past should stop....
Africa should build it's own infrastructure....
