RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Is Extremely Stingy. Should I Be Worried? by spiceadole(f): 2:57pm On Nov 25, 2019
user283:
There's this lady I've been dating for two years now. We happen to be members of the same church and I ought to have taken the relationship to the next level by getting my parents to her place for our introduction last month but I had a rethink and postponed our introduction due to an issue that might cause problem in the future

I noticed my girlfriend is the stingy type. When I mean stingy, it's on the high side. Assuming she's just averagely stingy I wouldn't really be bothered but this is gross.

I work as a bank teller (contract staff) and my salary isn't really much while she works in Shoprite. Even from the little I earn, I'm always sensitive to her needs and I tip her whether she's stranded or not since I love her but how can I explain being with a lady for two solid years and I've never for once received any gift no matter how little it is? Not even something as little as toothbrush or hair cream

Initially, I didn't see this as a big deal probably because I grew up with the mentality that it's a taboo for a man to expect gifts or little support from his girlfriend when he's in dire need
but I've now grown to realize that "give and take" is one of the key elements of a good relationship

Even if I get stranded or go into debt, my girlfriend acts nonchalant and she'll be the
last person that will ever render a little financial assistance to help my situation. You might say I should sit her down and discuss about it. Yes I've already done that and I made her understand that I actually postponed our introduction for no other reason but because I'm still indecisive if I want to spend the rest of my life with a selfish woman but her response shows she takes pride in being stingy

I even used logic to whine her younger brother recently just to be sure if she's stingy to me alone but the boy confirmed it that her sister is very stingy. I decided to carry out my findings on her brother because I believe he should know her better.

You might want to talk about sex but my belief is that sex is just a mutual pleasure and does not define what a woman gives to you in a relationship especially a relationship that will lead to the altar

What's getting me worried is that we've come a long way but I don't want to end up with a selfish woman because it's written all over her that she cares so much only about her own well being

Please advice your fellow brother. Do I have a reason to be worried? I've been jumping a lagoon for a woman who can't jump a gutter for me especially when it comes to giving. Should I tolerate this level of stinginess from a woman simply because I'm a man?

P.S: I'm still with her because she has other good traits

Please pardon my typos. I wrote this in a hurry
Ma fwend,go and make money..
Stop looking for a woman to buy you gifts and give you money.

Besides,I thought you guys always say on this platform that women have nothing to offer in a relationship apart from sex.
She is offering you sex, what else do you expect ?

Jobs/VacanciesRe: 4 Possible Reasons You Aren’t Getting Any Interviews by spiceadole(f): 8:50am On Nov 22, 2019
PatrickOkunima:
Hi guys, I am back again, and I am that HR Specialist cum CV writer with over a decade’s experience. I am here to continue giving insider tips on what goes on at the back-end after we’ve received thousands of applications from zealous job seekers.

Have you ever had an experience like this?

- You see a job role you are well qualified for
- Then you decide to apply
- You pick your CV and quickly fill out the necessary details on the job search form
- You scribble down some words as your cover letter.
- Then you click the send button and check your Email every day, hoping to get a call back – yet nothing happens.

In most cases, the job advert might have come with a lucrative salary, and you wouldn’t want to be left out. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and yet you hear nothing from the advertisers of the job. Boom!!! Game over for you on that job.

This same thing happens to you on other job adverts, and you assume that you are under attack from your village kindred. This might be the last time I will tell you this, so make sure you take action.

I will show you several reasons why you don’t get interviews after submitting your applications. It might be simple to you, but you should find a way to fix it ASAP.

1. Your CV looks like a Battleground

When I mean battleground, I mean it literally. Most simply don’t know how to write a CV; and instead of employing the services of a professional CV writer, they go ahead to just write that way.

You don’t play trial and error with something as important as your CV which is your professional personality on paper. Writing of CV should have a very clear format with specific procedures.

When I pick up a CV, there are certain areas I look out for. If I can’t capture it within the first 5 secs, I drop the CV so fast. This might actually be one of the reasons why you don’t get interviews after your job applications.

2. Downloading Sample Formats from the Internet

The same format you are about downloading has been downloaded by several other users. These same users will apply for the same job – in most cases, and we Human Resource Managers will get the same CV format from several people.

So remember; before you check up on Google, other people have done the same and the same format is getting saturated.

3. Writing your CV with a mobile phone

If you don’t have a laptop to help draft your CV, I encourage you to get someone to help you do it. Unless you’re comfortable getting a job as a bar man, then you should stop reading and focus on other things.

No Human Resource Manager opens a CV with his phone. The truth is that when you format a CV with a mobile phone, the layout comes out completely haggard when viewed from a computer.

N.B: Please don’t ask a cyber café girl to help you design a CV; they have little or no idea of the 7-seconds rule of crafting a CV. I suggest you employ the services of a professional to help you to do justice to it.

4. Your CV isn’t tailored to any Job Role

Most times when I pick up CVs from my desk to scrutinize, I see CVs that has more than 7 job roles in it. When you do this, it simply means one thing; “You don’t come out as a professional in any career sector.” And unless you are pretty luck, no one would send you an invite for an interview.

You should be a master of a job sector in your CV, that make you come out as a pro in the eyes of employers.

Here is a quick question: “Would you hire a jack of all trade for an important position, or an expert in such position?” Your answer is as good as mine. The same way you feel are exactly the same way employers feel when they see such a resume.

Getting interview invites should be the least worries of any job seeker. But if your Professional Personality (CV) isn’t good looking, you may have a hard time scaling through. I have written and I have seen exceptional CVs, and I believe you deserve one.

https://patrickokunima.com/4-possible-reasons-you-arent-getting-any-interviews/
Oga,calm down.
CV doesn't matter in Nigeria.
I typed my CV with my phone and got good jobs.....until I left Nigeria.
So chill.

RomanceRe: I cheated, Deep Down I'm In Pains. by spiceadole(f): 11:25am On Nov 10, 2019
AdeeT:
sad sad cry

I've betrayed her trust, I have really hurt her, I wish that I could undo all I've done. But it's too late, and I'm reek of guilt, it's all over me.

I just cheated on a beautiful lady that has stayed with me through thick and thin for years, a wonderful soul that anyone would dream to have. Cheating might be a common thing, but the moment you cheat on a pure soul, an innocent woman that gives you all, WITH HER BEST FRIEND, then it's beyond cheating.

I am charming, good looking working class guy, guys and girls easily comment how good looking I am, my fiancee is so proud of me, and my achievements that she easily shows me off at the slightest opportunity. She attended the same Uni with her friend, and ever since then, they've been a very good friend. They even served at the same place(worked out), to show you how close they her.

Now my fiancee works in the southern Nigeria, we planned to seal things up next year, and live together here in Abuja. Her friend came for a job interview here, and my woman advised that she rather stay with me for the period instead of her spending a lot on hotel accommodations since I live alone in a bedroom flat. I obliged, and she came down here, little did I know that things would get messy. Long story cut short, I fell in to her seduction the second night of her staying after some series of events. We ended up having sex couples of time before she left. I feel terrible now, though she felt nothing, I can't even flow well with my woman on phone again, guilt is all over me. I don't know how I will stand her whenever we meet. Of all girls in the world, she's the least anyone would want to cheat on.

I'm thinking of telling her. Mind you guys, I'm not a weakling, I've never been one. Before I met her some 3 years back, I was on the other end of life. She changed a lot for good for me, and helped stop many bad things, as well as starting several good ones. I don't know what her reaction would be after telling her. Her friend still communicates with her as if nothing happened.

I'm in pain guys. A serious one. I need advices.
Your babe has no sense.
Very stew.pid Lady.
No sensible Lady allows her female friend to visit and stay with her guy in her absence.
They must FVCK!
Its the unwritten law.
You only did what every guy in your shoes would do.
Surprisingly, you are feeling remorseful instead of using it for bragging rights as normal guys would do...

You are not from this planet.

I'm a medical doctor.

I left Nigeria for UK few months ago.

The dream took 4 years to come to pass.

I started by saving up money during my housemanship.

After NYSC,I was lucky to start residency programme. I still worked in private hospitals at my free time.
Meanwhile,I took the necessary exams..In Nigeria and UK.

Passed...Got an offer in Norwich, where I'm based now.
My hubby is making plans to join me next year.

Leaving Nigeria is the best decision I have ever taken in my life so far.

U are going to this marriage because shes pregnant... That a bad foundation..that lady will frustrate you..beta accept her child and seek God's face for a life partner
Its wrong enough to have sex before marriage
Why having unprotected sex till it leads to pregnancy and forced rushed marriage?
