When the enemy's busy putting a fatwah on your President and country

Gotta be Dems & CLU's doing what they know best... Just opposing Govt for any and every reason whatsoever...

In an international relations situation where you're neither totally wrong nor totally right, start with a bias for your side... Admittance of guilt where there's none will most certainly ruin your options on the long run.

Anyways, it's a democracy. And that's the beauty of it. Someone's gotta put the common sense breaks on everybody else because WAR IS CERTAINLY NOT THE ANSWER HERE!

To me though, how y'all gonna know if you've been scammed or not's to actually compare these payments against previous increment percentages, prevalent socioeconomic indices for both increment scenarios like inflation, currency value, tax regime etc

Who are my kidding... Y'all been suckered big time. Best start side-gigs, learn FX trading or start dusting your passports but those coins aren't increments, they're a thieving Govt's call-card to say they'll be back to take it all off you via taxes. because a caring welfarist Govt'd never have dealt its civil service such a bad hand.

So where are the mannagrills sarki & co hyping this Govt to high heavens? What will be the new excuse for shortchanging the people now?

Entire system's jinxed.

Without fixing Power and Petroleum sectors to yield affordable products and services promptly, many private sector concerns will keep suffering until hardships before shutting down unceremoniously.

Telcos have genuine concerns and terribly costly overheads to grapple with. Diesel costs for powering base stations (Masts) alone is enough not to consider diesel/inverter/solar combo overheads for running NoC's, support staff etc. A week Naira plus jumping local inflation drives up demands for higher staff pay as well as costlier overheads for tech know-how & equipment imports esp. without facility of import waivers.

But such challenges shouldn't equate to the abysmal connectivity & poor Quality of Service (QoS) plus daylight-robbery billing and data zapping regime Nigerians are now subjected to. That's a reflection of our corrupt Nigerian Factor eating deep into policy implementation on regulation, transparency/accountability, Consumer Rights etc.

If he's truly committed, some heads have to roll both ways so that pple can have value for money. New products and tariff package deals must be brought onboard. Data minimum sub quantity/costs, data sub expiration, rollover and bonus policies must be reviewed. Clear improvements must be noticeable in the so-called high-speed broadband data deals; "unlimited data" no suppose be for mouth only! Lack of service availability beyond certain levels must be penalizable on reporting because Glo is fond of selling Awoof-data plans that nobody will get to use till it expires!

Hence as long as concessions will be made on all sides, things won't continue to be business as usual but Nigerians shouldn't expect their Telcos to turn stones-to-bread overnight in the present crippling business environment, na other ways to deceive una dem just dey come up with, packaging the same sh!t in different wrappers! tongue

Brother, you need help ooo, you are using some Bible verses out of context.

Some guys think their only relevance is meant to come from looking for how to make things tougher for other Christians.

Far from the persecution of its standing days, in the midst of this age's many liberties and other freedoms, christianity alone appears to be fighting itself harder than its aggressors, sad!

We have a problem in this country and it is unfortunate that they youths are the problem. The average Nigerian youth is only interested in talking but not communicating! Like I don't really understand...

Uriel shared a concern via a video. The video is very touching and quite emotional. I expected someone to talk about her concerns along with the counsel she sought but typical Nigerian youths are busy going off point. Getting old isn't a crime and whether or not one is 30 doesn't imply you won't find happiness or get a man.

HER MUM IS DYING SLOWLY AND SHE FEELS TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. LEFT TO HER, SHE'D WAIT BUT SHE FEARS HER MUM WON'T SHARE ANY CONNECTION WITH HER KID AS THE DISEASE (DEMENTIA) WOULD HAVE EATEN DEEP IF SHE DECIDES TO GO THE WAY OF LOVE BEFORE BIRTHING. Lobatan o and everyone is saying something different. Na wa o!

Cool, but I'm for her not doing it as per my earlier post.

A child isn't a commodity, bargaining chip or a palliative to be thrown in to the mix of our other human relations without our highest considerations for the child's feelings and highest good in itself especially these days where they internet never sleeps and the kid's sure to grow up to see that gist.

She's going thru so much but I'll advice she paces herself and bring that other tiny but loaded individual into the world just for the sake of loving it and helping it be the best it can be in this life.

Mama's gonna lose her mem soon anyways, so if you and your unique situation aren't ready for a baby yet, don't do it!

I might be wrong to some but being out of Naija and seeing how these Whites, whose societal comforts we do often covet, do things has actually mellowed some of my earlier notions as a continental African.

We don't own our babies, we owe them.

Bringing a child to the world shouldn't be at the mercy of this as a factor.

Granted she's going through a lot but objectivity in decision making goes a long way in forestalling future self-doubts and regrets.

Decisions like that should be held up the highest altruistic ideals, not you getting a cum-bucket itch to please ur ma even when your body, your mindset, schedules and unique life situation might not be exactly ready to accommodate one rn. Shunt the "baby-popping machine" thoughts and be strong for your ma for now.

Love, personal desire to procreate, desire to relate with your own children etc...should be rank higher.

You're quite right. That kinda club crowd with peeps pushing on people, bumping into others etc, she goofed first with her Mortal Kombat combo shots.

She left no allowance for the fact that he also could've been pushed from behind. A stem first warning could've served except if she'd felt something specific like her arss being squeezed or something equally pathetic. Her friends and that crowd there would've equally stood up for her.

But now, we'll never know. And I'm praying she didn't get konked on one of her eyeballs. That'd be rather sad.

Promoting a "Never hit a lady" narrative to shield abusive, fight-hungry chicks is an irresponsible way of seeing the picture. I know a coupla military type chicks who'd beat the sh!t right outta many average dudes into hell on their bad hair days... They start their trouble, I run. Ladies ain't weak no more, guys should be gentlemanly. We should keep our hands off one another.
