Owaincouncil: Thank you for this, can I also know the state where the OP resides. I can link him to a church that can help him with the school fees of two of the children. It is well
God bless you. this is humanity at work. We are the gods we all need. God will not come down from heaven. Bless you for this
Ayinke93: Giving yourself the very tight 6 months timeline is a very big recipe for failure in this japa journey. Taking the time even if it's 3 years to do it properly and not run into another world of struggle because of desperation is a better strategy in my opinion. Take your time to research, consider learning French and exploring Canadian express entry. That process alone might take up to 18 months. also, consider learning in demand skills in your country of choice, trust me japa is only sweet when you are not working ridiculous hours doing menial jobs. The rewards of taking these steps far outweighs that you'll get if you desperately escape in 6 months.
Cuteness4real: I have to join the forum to share my current situation. Maybe I can feel more better. I've always been an offline reader.
I'm a single mother of two. So far, I have been able to saved 300k. My house rent of 260k is experiring next month, my first son is entering secondary school in September. I'm getting too worried on how I'm going to meet up. I'm into buying and selling business, some times, one may not sell out for two to three months. right now, I don't want to scatter this money Incase I can't gather it back before ending of next month. I don't want to default in paying my rent. Moving to cheaper accommodation is not an option. I love this particular apartment because the environment is lovely with nice neighbors. We're like families.
Pls, what's your opinion/suggestion/advice on this?
What kind of business can you advise me to quickly do to add little profit before ending of next month, so I don't go empty after paying my rent? What's your opinion/advice/experience on sending a 9yrs old child to a government secondary school? Because, if I can't afford our desired private school, I might send him to government sch. Matured mind pls.
Can you talk to the landlord to take part payment first?
Govt school in some areas ain't that bad. I know it doesn't match up to the private school but just go ahead if it's the only option. Some govt school are a bit fair. We all attended govt school and we turned out alright. Things have changed though.
Just pray about it and be at peace with yourself. You have tried. Shalom!
orohbiro: Our men are no longer considering us again We must hold protest against this white cargoes taking our young men we won't take this we are not useless
Ijelenwanyioma: You are the only one getting my point. Maybe he plan marrying someone else in the future which I won't be part of his properties again
I will respond because you come from the east. He has no ulterior plan. Over 90% of men will put their name exclusively the total money comes from them. It doesn't mean he has plans to kick you out later. Cool down
Curtisaxel10: You talked about hatred projected during the last elections but let me kindly remind you that no single Yoruba was harmed, beaten, or harassed in any way here in the Southeast despite the horrible treatment our people recieved in Lagos. We are a peaceful people.
You are welcome to my lovely state. I assure you, you have nothing to fear. Feel free and enjoy yourself. We have many Yorubas living and working in peace here without being harassed or asked to return to their state of origin. I'm sure you must have met some of them.
If your PPA is in the state capital, I would be honored to host you in my humble abode sometime. Nnooo nwannem. You are welcome.
Bless you bro. I Have a room reserved in my compound for corp members and they are not to pay.the last person was from kogi and another Benue and also akwa ibom. They don't pay

I sincerely suggest they take the Dog to a veterinary therapist for evaluation and given necessary treatment so incidents like this isn't repeated. So sad

Ahaaaaaaa! See the way I'm taken back to my child hood days. Can still remember attending church with my mum and siblings while wearing that brown shoes and looking at fishes swimming in the gutter.
When we get home, we will eat rice and stew( families then only eat rice on Sundays )
frozen70: Honestly this is hard because him getting another apartment means that he may likely get another woman who will be in and out of his life ans before you know it, his family will push him to pregnant that woman ans they will welcome her with open arms just to spite this current wife
At the end the dude will now be having two women in his life and the one outside will keep trying to pull him down since she can't have him alone
The one inside may not really know the Genesis of her coming or even if she knows, she won't know a lot about it so she may not be prayerful to protect her man
So if anything happens to his second family, all eyes will be on the first woman, even if it's a coincidence
I think at this stage, if the man really love his wife and wants absolute peace, let the man invite her parents wherever they are and invite his own family
This is because when a woman is acting naughty, it's only her parents or family that can bring her senses back
These family gathering will give everyone the opportunity to open up all they have kept under their sleeves and apologizes will be made from where the fault is coming from, even if from your his siblings or from your wife
Am very sure that some thing positive will come out of this reconciliation gathering
Then they can all move in to the new apartment
But if the man is very sure that he is done with the woman, let him trick her home to visit her parents and both of them will travel to see her parents, when they get there he should tell his parents that for now he is done with her and the marriage because of her attitude to his family and anything he can mention
That alone will even shake the roof of that house
After that report, he should just leave them there and go, they will look for him and if they successed in wining the man's heart, she is coming back with a condition that she will take a reconciliation move with your family
So anytime she fixes date and inform your mum to invite others that's when the reconciliation will take and her parents will be in attendance
After this she will humble herself
I purposely didn't ask what she did to them But for all of them to be having issues with her and she locks the kitchen when they are around shows that she is just being naughty and crazy and that should not be encouraged
The woman's family is aware. He suspects the mother of the lady is in tacit support of her daughter's attitude( because I also suggested he talk to her family too)
ahnie: You have played your part by talking to him.try place your self in his shoes?
Imagine your mum and sibling cannot visit youin your home, you paid the rentage,to add salt to injury, she's even saucy and took it a step farther by locking the kitchen.
Which right thinking man in his right senses will tolerate that? Let's be frank with ourselves and keep hypocrisy aside.
The man is even lucky his family hasn't even cut ties with him yet and his mental health is still somehow intact,if it were to be some men,dem for don beat craze out from the woman .nor be every body Sabi tolerate nonsense.
The woman has use her hand to scatter her home,so it's absolutely no fault from the man,pls let the man breeeet. Let his flat, furniture, his mum and his mental health breeeeeeet.
Just like you, I'm not against his actions. He has given enough room for change but seems the wife is not sensible enough. She will learn the hard way
Truth is that the dude has already taken the action. Pls mods don't take this to front page.
I have this dude staying in the compound behind my house. We weren't friends in the beginning ( I no even Sabi hob nob for my area) but we got talking and became a bit close when I got to learn that he is from my region.
We went out this evening for a drink as we usually do some Sunday evenings and after a couple of beers, he opened up that he is leaving the neighborhood. He is married with a son and works but he is moving out alone. I never really suspected he was having marital issues because he seems a very decent, knowledgeable and calm guy from his outlook on life. The wife also seems like a nice person.
Here is the issue. Dude is the first born and has lost his dad few years back but the mum is still alive. She lives in same city somewhere else but mostly stays alone as the other children are grown and has left home.
The wife hates seeing the mother and the other siblings whenever they come VISITING. She always raises hell. ( Note that they don't cause any trouble of any sort) This guy has talked severally to the wife but she has remained adamant to the point where whenever the mum or siblings visits, she shuts down the kitchen and the man has resorted to buying food from restaurants.
he opened up that he has gotten a flat somewhere and furniture will be coming in by the week. He is moving out alone. His only worry is his son. He loves the boy so much and he is worried how the son will take it
I feel unhappy but he has already taken his position. After telling me( we talked for hours) , I was in a pensive mood as I really don't know what to tell him. Not that it will change anything as he has committed so much financially. He bought every thing again from scratch
Let me call two ladies who are objective enough and balanced in their opinion to weigh in on this issue.
damosky12: I get that. But then, in this Nigeria, no one pays 450k for a job that doesn't have a really sellable skill. That skill that he sells to his current employer can bail him out anytime o. Except the skill is going out of fashion (and that's not the issue here).
My bro, I have folks who work in banks and earn between 350k to 500k. Are you saying was they re dropped they immediately transit to another job? This man is looking for a back up skill
LegallyBlunt: Good day everyone. For a couple of weeks now, there has been issues where I worship.
Mostly between the Pastor and his assistant (presently former assistant). They had a falling out, which escalated to a point where the assistant stopped his duties.
Now, I managed to ask questions about the issue and the Pastor gave his version. I also got to know about the assistant's version.
However, here's the issue - they're not in speaking terms! Isn't that malice? Isn't that dangerous, and a deviation from what Christians ought to do? Are they not in danger of hell and manipulation from the devil and agents of sin?
What's even more painful is that the church just continues like there's no issue on ground. It's sad, really.
aboyaji: Please, my advice is don't overdo. Don't try to bear all the family problems else you'll be undervalued in the long-run. It's the same in every family. I'm a victim.
As you're carrying everyone along, remain ahead by far. Don't stop developing yourself at the expense of others.
donproject2: Think of any investment, little or medium-scale. Talking on skill, I am a techy, not more I can add than to tell you to learn a tech stream.
