From a historical perspective, I think Buhari is force-feeding Nigerians the prescriptions of IMF and World Bank. I am dealing with the fact not hypothetical situation.
In this case, the mother did not die. If the father is wealthy, the lady's family will not fight him. They will advice him to come and perform marriage rites. And as the child grows, he/she will most likely identify with the wealthy father if the father wants.

Things are changing. Remember...It used to be a shame to be tagged a babymama. But now some ladies are wearing it as a badge of honour if the man is wealthy, famous or powerful.

I know it is the mother's sample. Samples can be mishandled or tainted (especially in this case in which a wealthy family has ulterior motives). Professionals in Nigeria are very cheap and easy to be compromised.

I like how people argue that the lab result will hold in court. Even in a criminal case, when a sample is "believed" to have been mishandled, the result is not admissible as evidence.

The Adelekes threw their power around. The only saving grace is Dele Momodu's contact in Aso Rock. That's how Africa works. If the lady has nobody backing her, this will not even be a story. Does she use cannabis? Possibly. I doubt anyone that hangs around Davido doesn't use it. They wanted to use her weakness against her but they went about it the wrong way. Let me play devil's advocate: who is to say that David and his family didn't feed Imade with milk/formula laced with cannabis? That report is circumstantial. They should have insisted (or used emergency court order) to test Sophia in order to cover all bases. Sophia's lawyer can argue that it wasn't even Imade's blood that was tested or that Imade got cannabis in her system when in their care. Etc.

Drove into an NNPC mega station to refill my tank only to see this guy beside me. He had a bike who's fuel tank has been reconstructed to accommodate nothing less than 30litres of petrol.

As a matter of fact, there were three of them, but I was able to capture just this beside me.

They lost on the infrastructure, bribery scheme and choice of candidate.

When it dawned on them that they'd made a collosal mistake, they resurrected Biafra to make demands that they should have made from GEJ prior to the elections. And again, they lost. GEJ is Ijaw. But ndi Igbo want to claim him more than GEJ wants to claim to be Igbo. Why? All I can do is just stand aside and watch a whole tribe make mockery of themselves. If you don't take yourselves serious, nobody would.
