Deborah98:The point is a breeder will use this sheep to make other sheep. Good breeds have various qualities that make them valuable: their wool, their resistance to disease, the quality of the meat, etc. This is a male and he will be used to create many man lambs with his traits, sometimes up to a thousand, depending on how prolific he is. Exclusive coats, rugs, and many other things made from wool will result from this sheep and its progeny. And many other farmers/breeders would pay to have their sheep mate with this one for the above qualities. |
Real case of "trouble sleep, yanga go wake am"... your beans done don. Slay on |
Amotolongbo:You no now sey nobody fit ban Edo airways before. Flights starting strictly after midnight ![]() |
lefulefu:Abi now... but those guys will come here forming "loving girlfriend" ![]() |
It won't. Electricity - I've moved on to solar years ago. NEPA people are always surprised when there's no wire into my house ![]() Fuel - Where am I going in this quarantine? I can do my work from home, and the best thing I've done is start a garden and small farm in my compound since March. Fresh tomatoes and peppers every 2-3 days, and some other items periodically. |
DemonInvoker:If one is paying for a girlfriend's hair, t-fare, food, settling her lecturer, money to fix her gen, etc... what's the difference between the girls you pay directly, and the girls you pay indirectly. ![]() |
Gwagone: DemonInvoker:Since his money is intact, he can get the occasional professional services, which is way cheaper in the long run ![]() |
Naomila:You're right, but being single, at least you have ice cream. With a girlfriend one can't afford that ice cream, because she's used the guy's money to buy hair. Put another way: life with a girlfriend is like soup without any meat... because she took all the meat. |
Dem never born the person wey go tell police to obey the order ![]() |
loopman:Buhari... on errand by Nigerians? Buhari wey no send anybody? |
Chukkson:So the complaint is that Enugu airport was commissioned for use before repairs were fully complete? OK. Me I don't mind, I'm happy I can use it again, I can be accused of accepting mediocre. It's OK I accept. |
My brother, don't let hatred and self doubt cloud everything you see. If they said, wait until the whole thing was finished, people will complain. Now they've opened it for use, albeit when not fully completed, people are saying na scam. Here are pictures of an airport in USA being used while under repairs/rehabilitation, just to show you that this obtains worldwide, and passengers understand that these things take time. These are even the late-stage pictures, yet you can still see scaffolding, the entire upper section is unusable, and there are places where the whole floor is torn up. I don't believe the residents of that state are crying marginalization, or accusing their Federal government of tricks.

Pelecius:You make very good points. |
No need to go to Ghana... please save Nigerian citizens from harassment in Nigeria by police, soliders, politicians first. You can't mistreat your own people and expect others to treat them better. Who does that? ![]() |
Kondomatic:The differences are: - the science makes sense, if you understand the background, and follow the argument - the scientists actually have a good idea of the theory, and tend to produce repeatable experiments - the theory can be disproved/revised with better insights - there is often physical proof (e.g. dinosaur bones, very old rocks, impact craters, radiation) - unexplainable things are just said to be so. There's no "magical God" as the fallback answer |
... and cue the "Earth is flat and only 6,000 years old", and the "I don't believe in evolution or big-bang or anything that's not in my Bible" crew. |
I know this is just something to make news, but just because you don't see Mr. Eazi doing something doesn't mean he's not romantic. What's more romantic than a man's loyalty in this day and age? |
Congratulations to Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina. Shame to the USA for trying to bring down an honest man because he doesn't dance to their tune. How I wish he would run for President, and that people would vote for him. Here's an all-round good candidate (bearing in mind that nobody's perfect), but people will be supporting looters, then wonder why the country is not moving forward. |
Good work governor. We need more continuity in our projects, so kudos for continuing projects by your predecessors, and for starting projects in your own term. "On the affordability of the housing estates, Akinderu-Fatai stated that the housing schemes have been subsidised for low-income earners, stressing that subscribers can now pay through the State mortgage system, rent-to-own scheme or by outright payment." See? People, pay your taxes. Subsidies don't come out of thin air. They come from state revenues, and here is a prime example of where your money is going. |
Princess Aisha Dansabo... very lovely. I pray she's as lovely in demeanor as she is physically. Happy marriage to the Bride and Groom ![]() |
Gentle0wavez:OK, I misspoke by saying all . Let me rephrase: "So the vast majority of these people bashing her did not kiss, handle, and/or have sex in secondary school or early uni? Really?" I apologize for including everybody - some of whom remain of the opinion that virginity is a virtue - in my previous comment. Virgins are apparently free to bash Waje inspite of committing other sins of their own. |
Gentle0wavez:Well, I'm looking at the examples of how he treated individuals: the adulterous woman (cast the first stone); the sinful woman who washed his feet; and many others he showed compassion for. Your first example illustrates his anger at the "supposedly holy people" ruining his father's house. The second one is symbolic, and not directed against people (i.e. he has never once cursed a person). Observing a person's behavior is a good way to predict what they will do, most of the time. There are exceptions, but as you can see, those exceptions are not indicative of what he would do in this particular situation of banning a pregnant girl from the choir. |
Klass99:And we wonder why police and soldiers like to whip people... we condone slapping or beating as the solution to many problems. OF course some take it too far and use pressing iron or plank. You can either accept that violence as a means of correction is OK across the board, or you can refuse to accept it. A child that gets slapped across the room is learning that this is the appropriate action, and will have no issue growing up to slap and beat others, especially when they if they have any power. picklighthouse:Not condoning the girl's actions... they are good ways to manage the situation, as the teacher is showing. We may abuse the West for "not disciplining their children", but they are the ones who have fought and died for freedoms, dominate the planet, and have used all they can to improve their lot. Nigerians, on the other hand, have been disciplined into docility, which is why our leaders trample all over us. The jejely packing to old homes is a factor of an industrialized society and modernization. Not saying it's a good thing, but that's what happens. We have nursing homes in Lagos already, and the way things are going, I can bet you that our generation will be packed off too. ![]() |
Harryfrosh:True. But consider there are already ways to move larger numbers: helicopters. These are small tactical bits that might be harder for an enemy to hit, that can get tiny units into an area nice and quiet (at night for instance), and evac individuals quicker. |
baliyubla:Commendable for sure. However, if things were done properly with metering, they would pay based on their usage. We'd expect an Ikyoki boy to use more, and thus pay accordingly. We might as well lower the price of petrol for the Mushin boy while we're at it. All I see is yet another avenue for some people to milk the system. Tell me that Ikoyi boy will not settle with small change so he can get the lower rate. |
Beyonce calls herself a Black Woman. Beyonce calls herself a brown-skinned woman. One is a racial identity; the other is the actual color of the skin. Similarly, no caucasian is actually "white". Their skin color is pale brown, yellow, to pink. The question is not what you call yourself, but that you won't pay taxes, refuse to stand patiently without jumping queue, always want to obtain without hard work, and pick the wrong type of leaders. Other people of color (Asians, Indians, Latin Americans)... they've all done the hard work to be where they are... yet a pastor is talking about some label holding you back (while speaking in a foreign language, practicing a foreign religion, wearing foreign-made textiles and shoes, and as soon as he can, will be off to foreign lands for health care). Instead of the pastor (and his ilk) to help lift the youths of this country out of poverty by building factories like most of the world has done, he's busy taking from the youths in the name of tithing and building mega churches. The Europeans have kept their language, their religion (Christianity), and their unique way of thinking; as have the Jews (Hebrew, Judaism), Arabs (Arabic/Farsi, Islam), Asians (Chinese/Japanese/Korean, Shinto/Bhuddism) and Indians (Hindi/Gujarati/Bengali, Hinduism) It's Africans like this pastor that have been brainwashed into accepting others' religious doctrine as his own that need freedom from mental slavery. |
All these prophesies and rituals... not one is used to build a factory to actually employ people. I'm just saying. |
E... awon holy holy. People are talking about one olosho... all the girls we are kpanshing... no be somebody's future (or current) wife? |
Only reason for the fire is that they are not getting their share. Greedy senate ![]() All of NASS is a loss-making venture for FG. They should also express anger at themselves. Nonsense. |
So it was passers-by that rescued them... we really don't need police in this country. ![]() I wonder if police collected "transport and feeding money" from the parents Police didn't stop the one chance, despite their presence on every road, demanding bribe. Even if caught, the one chance people can still pay for their freedom Lucky kids. Stay blessed |
While I love the concept, I can only envision more congestion in Lagos. I thought I heard there were plans to build an airport, because having to go all the way from Eko Atlantic to Ikeja will be something else. |
Hot damn! Brown skin girls all over the world, this is your love letter. Love yourself, in all your complexions. We love you as you are, from your head to your toes. Signed, brown skinned men ![]() |
