It is not about hearsay its what we have seen happen and it is the position of the law on that issue, except you are saying that law is not valid.

There is no place in the Lagos tenancy law that gives the tenant a right to live for free in an apartment. This doesn't mean some landlords don't allow them live for free though, it is not a right.

Most landlords prefer not to go the court route actually, but there are those who see it to the end.

Actually you are wrong, what the law says is you are entitled to 6 months notice as a yearly tenant but it's not free, the courts will even enforce it, if he doesn't pay ballif can auction the properties ask any Lagos Lawyer.

When your rent has expired you are a tenant at will and only entitled to 7 days.

What your NGOs are doing is a sort of mediation, by Law you are not entitled to stay free and they also know this. If the landlord challenges them legally he will win.

Lots of landlords do let it go because they just want the tenant to leave but if you jam landlord that has the time, and can pass through court ish, he will follow the law to the latter.

Same thing I keep telling a friend of mine, whose landlord had given them 6 months notice prior to the expiry date of her rent, she kept shouting she's going to human right at the local govt blablabla.

The wahala prepaid has caused in some compounds is not a small one, especially that the free prepaid they were sharing per bill.

He is explicit enough to state what he wants, what you need is an official time to move out( which will be fully paid for). He has told you his intention.

Baby milk, 1 pangolo every 3-6 days, maybe 8 days sha if the baby milk is just a supplement not the main meal, i.e the baby is majorly in breast milk.

Clothes - Your taste, okirika, aba, China new is available, the very quality US /Turkey ones too are there.

Body care- soaps there are nice baby liquid soaps, you can also use our local black soap when the baby is older.
For cream I prefer ori or coconut oil depending on the weather.


But what will gulp your money most is diapers . At least for baby milk you know it's food and the baby is eating it but that diapers ehn

All these are excluding antenatal, delivery and all other unforseen expenses in the course of raising a baby.

That is why I said government is at fault. Subsidy should only be on Health and Education from primary school to secondary school. Infact it is should be free and quantitative. It is only tertiary education that should not be free.

Actually under Lagos environmental law you are not permitted to burn refuse. It's an offence one is meant to give the PSP waste and pay.

Its already an offense to throw stuffs on the median but these people can come midnight / early morning to throw waste. How many will they catch, they do catch some though.

Yes it is the government. It is the government that tells them to go and dump for there that they will come and park it. The PSP most times play the government too asking for things that does not make sense. I don't blame them because they know government won't want to see refuse everywhere.

The government should henceforth stop parking people's refuse for them. If you cannot pay private refuse collectors,then find a way to burn your refuse. Government doing subsidy for refuse collection is totally wrong and it should be discouraged.

If I were to be Govornor,I will put a stop to people putting refuse in public and road median. You put there,you go to jail for 3days with option of fine of 100,000naira

It should be discouraged but Nigerians don't like paying for anything even here in Lagos that we have PSPs residents will not give waste to PSP simply because they want to evade monthly payment, they will carry waste to the roadside and Lawma will be forced to mop it up because they don't want dirt on the highways.

Diesel is a major factor now,before when you roll a compactor out for a day it used to be around 14-15k for a trip and to dump now it's 25-28k is being spent per trip per day and if your truck runs into trafficyour BP will start getting high because you know you might have to buy more fuel, you do that and the residents don't pay, how do you cover for your logistics not to talk of payment of staff.

Parts are crazily expensive now, they can say air finished, compacting system, gear, ikoko different kinds of issues arising and residents will be telling you it's supposed to be a free service , add 10-15 million naira which is the price of a compactor here to the mix and you will see why the PSP will stop going to residents.

Until govt enforces payment and put those throwing refuse on the road in jail we will keep rigmarroling.

The way he’s attacking people is hilarious. He’s just shouting the certificate is useless despite people referring him to the future importance of the said certificate. Truly, this country is not really helping those who has education at heart but I just don’t know why some set of individuals will want to force their opinion on others. It’s not worth it. You are spot on, the job I have now if I didn't have a master degree I wouldnt have got it, all it needed was a master degree and It came 5 years after I got the MSc. The day it came it was like a dream, meanwhile I had been working with BSc.

I was speaking with a woman yesterday who's son was into photography, he initially got admission full time to FUNAB, he told his mum he wanted photography, he left the admission he did 1 year photography training, moved to pefti to do a diploma now he has his own studio set up,I think he specializes in food photography now he's doing part time in UNILAG with his business and he will almost be through. He owns a solid business and he's getting his cert.

Also for a business as fluid as POS or gas that one govt policy can change everything one would need to diversify. Look at GOkada for e. G.
Your friend has his degree he's using to receive Npower stipend even if he feels is chicken change and is discouraging others from going to school, does he know what their degree may bring them.
