1. Infidelity 2. Infidelity * The mere thought of it drives me crazy! ![]() |
These super chickens have done it again o! ![]() Really think KANU should've been introduced into this game. We didn't need more strikers - just someone who could help hold/distribute the ball and create more opportunities. ![]() |
Yawa, Thanks for your input! Please understand that I never meant to be insultive. Its just that some folks like to be told upfront what they're getting into and others can be very difficult to persuade when it comes to pricing. but your approach seems better and I'll adjust accordingly. Thanks again! |
Afam:Afam, Thanks a bunch for pointing that out! ![]() I'll modify my post accordingly. |
Lady 234:Yeah, they have quite a huge bunch of badly twisted beliefs. I just wish they'd stop decieving themselves, thinking they're chirstians! The whole thing stinks from its very foundations. ![]() |

I found out about this mormon people some months ago. I have nothing against them as a religious group, but the fact remains that they're not christians and its as simple as that. Anyway sha, ![]() |
Well, I agree with Pastor Bakare on this one - that the teachings of our dear bishop are at the very least, unbiblical. But only christians who bother to study the bible for themselves would discern. Imagine someone saying that the bottle of anointing oil is the "holy spirit in a bottle" or the "life of god in a bottle". If I didn't know better I would have sworn that even the most ignorant christian would never say something that blasphemous. ![]() I also agree that this widespread teaching of wealth/prosperity of which the bishop is a major promoter, is purely unbiblical. I read the comments of the pastors who were interviewed about this and couldn't stop shaking my head. I wonder what bible they're reading! Or maybe, just maybe, they're reading it backwards. ![]()
The truth is bitter. . .Oyedepo and Adeboye are criminals. They should be arrested and tried before a military tribunal.
@Tudor, Don;t worry enh, not a single one of them will escape judgment. And I can assure you a military tribunal is heaven on earth compared to what men like that have waiting for them. I just feel sorry for the multitudes the've robbed of both gospel truth and their money! |

Wish I had more time to post in this thread. Abuzola:Abu, What do you know about Christianity? What do you know about Jehovah's witnesses? |
Doesn't it bother you guys that your salvation rests on a very thin line. You are so deperate to create a God that never was. The question with jesus is not actually whether his a a true God or a false one. The question is whether he is even a God at all. This man lived for 33 years and he never for once voiced 'i am God' or even 'i am son of God'. Nowhere in the history of man have we heared of such a 'God' that was afraid to declare himself. He had to leave the job of proving his divinity to noetic, nezan and the likes. Of course they are doing a bad job at it!
Mr Seeker, One of the main reason's God chose and groomed the Hebrews was to deliver the Christ. Why don't you take a closer look at their responses to certain statements and actions by Jesus? Things that won't make sense to anyone who's not a jew (or isn't familiar with their relationship/history with God). For example, in the mind of the jew, anyone who comes forgiving sins is either usurping a divine prerogative, or is God himself. We all know Jesus forgave sins and the jews, tried to kill him for blasphemy. You also said that Jesus never claimed to be the son of God, well, I think you're right on this one too. Here's the proof below: 63 But Jesus kept silence. Again the high priest addressed him, "I adjure you by the Living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God!" 64 "I am He," Jesus answered; "yet I tell you that from this time on you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming upon the clouds of heaven." 65 Then the high priest tore his garments, saying: "He has spoken blasphemy! What further need have we of witnesses? For behold, now you have heard his blasphemy! - Matthew 26 |
@Chukwudi44, I think you're truly amazing! ![]() |
Nice post Nezan. I just want to add, that Jesus didn't just claim divinity, he PROVED IT! No be just for mouth ![]() , and its not by force to accept it, ![]() |
charles68:Charles68, God bless you for that incisive reponse! To add to that, I want to remind everyone, that there's not a single instruction from any of the prophets, apostles, or the Lord Jesus himself about honouring (worshipping, in fact) his earthly mother! Even better, there's no example of believers regarding her as such. Not even a hint in that direction. It was something made up much later, after the original apostles had left the scene. I learned it was dogmatized at the first council of Ephesus and has been reaffirmed and revised by different popes over time. |
Normally,i am indifferent to issues like this and always keep an open mind on them. But why should i when its been stated in the Bible that God hates it. So for one thing "I am against homosexuality" But to y'all that are really against and show bitter repulsiveness to it, i hope it is in the same vein you regard FORNICATION,ADULTERY and LESBIANISM. Because to be frank, In the world of sin, there is no kilogram/cm. As they say "sin is sin". So as Homosexuality irritates you,so should the aformentioned vices be too. JUST BEING FRANK
My guy, I can tell you dat "sin is not sin". At lest not in the bible. Not in Christianity. A good study of the bible should clear this up. Homosexuality, egotism and greed are some of the "sins" I know to be very grievous (biblically speaking). |
DatNiggaAk:GBAM!!! ![]() I love NL! I knew I'd find someone who'll say exactly what I wanted to say! ![]() And to add to that, I think its worthy of note that God never destroyed a set of people (something he normally would wait till judgement day to do) for lying or stealing, but he did do it once because of homosexuality, using them as an example to everyone else. And to think that he even showed up there to see things for himself [maybe he couldn't believe his eyes from way up there], ![]() Homosexuality is |
WHAT The Prophet said stealing's okay I don't believe this! Where's Abu and co? Pls tell me its not true!!! |
OMG!!! This is going to be interesting! ![]() [takes front seat and waits for the atheists/darwinists to come and argue their way out of this one] |
Nezan, Can I have the link to the thread you're referring to here: Nezan:Thanks! |
Nezan:Wish to add here that Jesus Christ also proved his claim to divinity! These past few years for me as a christian, have been a little shaky. Had to offload much of the crap I'd believed without any questions whatsoever for years. In the process I did a little research about the plausibility of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. What I found has strengthened my faith in him more than I can possibly tell. May his name be praised forever! [no apologies to abuzola and co ] |
Nezan:GBAM!!! I really couldn't have put it better myself! ![]() |
Abuzola, I see you're not interested in doing a proper study of the bible before jumping to baseless conclusions. |
viaro:GBAM! I couldn't agree more! ![]() |
noetic15:Abeg help me ask am o! ![]() Seems to be his new mission on NL (e-jihad) |
The Immaculate Conception is, according to Roman Catholic Dogma, the conception of the Virgin Mary without any stain ("macula" in Latin) of original sin. Under this aspect Mary is sometimes called the Immaculata (the Immaculate One), particularly in artistic contexts. The dogma says that, from the first moment of her existence, she was preserved by God from the lack of sanctifying grace that afflicts mankind, and that she was instead filled with divine grace. It is further believed by Catholics that she lived a life completely free from sin.[1] Her immaculate conception in the womb of her mother, through sexual intercourse, should not be confused with the doctrine of the virginal conception of her son Jesus, known as the Virgin Birth. The feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated on 8 December, was established as a universal feast in 1476 by Pope Sixtus IV. He did not define the doctrine as a dogma, thus leaving Roman Catholics free to believe in it or not without being accused of heresy; this freedom was reiterated by the Council of Trent. The existence of the feast was a strong indication of the Church's belief in the Immaculate Conception, even before its 19th century definition as a dogma. The Immaculate Conception was solemnly defined as a dogma by Pope Pius IX in his constitution Ineffabilis Deus on 8 December 1854. The Catholic Church believes that the dogma is supported by Scripture (e.g., Mary's being greeted by the Angel Gabriel as "full of grace" as well as either directly or indirectly by the writings of Church Fathers such as Irenaeus of Lyons and Ambrose of Milan.[2][3] Catholic theology maintains that since Jesus became incarnate of the Virgin Mary, it was fitting that she be completely free of sin for expressing her fiat.[4]In the Catholic Church, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of Obligation, except where conferences of bishops have decided, with the approval of the Holy See, not to maintain it as such. It is a public holiday in some countries where Roman Catholicism is predominant. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immaculate_Conception I think this is really sick, ![]() |
@Banom, Bros I feel your pain o! I understand you're an atheist, but I'd like you to know that true biblical Christianity in itself is nothing like what these armed robbers in suit have twisted it to be for selfish reasons. The bible itself is full of warnings about such men! What baffles me is the skillfulness with which these men twist the gospel! If it weren't such a damnable thing they're doing, I think it would've been a good idea if they were all given awards! Whats happening is also something the bible predicts will happen in latter times: 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. II Timothy 4:3-4 RSV As a christian, I admit the trend is an extremely shameful one. ![]() |
