there is still nothing like 1st class. You can be best graduating in a course with 65%. Means the highest score obtained is 65% which is not a distinction. 1st class is based on cgpa system. We don't do it in medicine. That you are best graduating in other courses doesn't translate to first class. A best graduating may actually have a second class degree upper division.

Sorry dude. I doubt you know grades in medicine. Certainly, in various specialties, pass mark can range from 79 to 95%. Just to pass.
Minimum marks to get 1.1 grades in many other disciplines (around 70%) would often be a fail grade in med. I am not talking of cpga in whatever other other courses. Pass mark in anatomy can be set at 81% but psychiatry can be 95%. This is later weighted using a formular to become 50% or 60% taken as minimum pass mark. Absolute crazy stuff. Nor be joke. In the UK for example. It would sound implausible to the uninitiated.

The reason is simple. If your doc correctly diagnoses only 80% of patients' illnesses and the remaining 20% die or suffer worsened health, that would not be acceptable, would it?

Please respect any top graduating med, vet or dentistry graduate. He or she just topped a class of the brightest people of that generation. I know what I am talking about. It's immaterial if they call it 1.1 or not. This lady would be considered 1.1 in any job application.

There should always be exemptions. Critical skills category needs to be retained much longer. 65 is ok for the rest, possibly with option of voluntary retirement from 60 if they have served for at least 35 years already.

65 should me minimum but with option of voluntary retirement on health or other grounds, such as after 35 years of service, as from 60.

I moved to a new area(Student area) and decided to attend a nearby church.

These are what I noticed.

-- I was the only one that used scarf.Even the choristers and the female ministers didn't use scarf.

--Almost all the female members are putting on trousers,ladies that put on gowns/skirt are not up to 20%.
I was even surprised that the two female ministers and the female choristers also put on trouser to climb the church alter.

--During prayer intersection,I noticed everybody were praying in tongues and it seems am the only person not filled with the holy spirit to speak in tongues.
Even when we were asked to pray on our offering,people still prayed in tongues.

And it just seems I'm odd among them or is it that am not modernized?
