As stated earlier, her dad is Ladi Jadesimi, husband of Alero. Google is your friend indeed!
He is an accountant and oil magnate.

I wonder why an outdated title is of so much importance to anyone. Happy married life to them jare.
Investment › Re: Continue School Or Start A Business - Please Advice by delpee(f): 10:59pm On Jun 10, 2013
Don't stake your mums property (which I assume is all you have) for a bank loan. The conditions usually make it a win win situation for the bank against an average naija person. You can easily lose your house. If you indeed made 3.5m last year, basic business 101suggests that you plough back your profits in the first year to expand and build your capital. You need a loan when there is proven need based on business growth and a well thought out business plan.
Please combine business with education. You need both.

Politics › Re: Cleric Calls For Christian Governor In Lagos State Elections by delpee(f): 11:13pm On Jun 09, 2013
All we want is peace and progress. Oyinlola (mr no bitumen), a xtian didn't impress us as a governor. Fashola a muslim has done well IMO.
What's the noise about anyway? This has never been a major issue for Yorubas, performance is key.
But again, if there's a deliberate effort to have only muslims as governor, it doesn't make sense and will not stand the test of time.

Great pity! May God strengthen her, make her hopeful and may the souls of the departed rest in peace. I pray that her mum and others recover well from their injuries.
After looking at the picture of the Anyenes again today (DANA crash), I concluded that its not wise to move a whole family in one vehicle/plane.
I am just so unhappy about these massive losses. cry

Family › Re: Letter To My Child - From A Trying To Conceive Husband by delpee(f): 5:09am On Jun 01, 2013
Just remembered the case of a couple that desperately craved for a child. They had been told that the man was shooting blanks mostly while the woman had some minor issues. The doctors gave them no hope apart from IVF which is expensive and with no guarantee of success. They turned to God and strong faith drove them to buy baby things which they constantly prayed over. The woman became more relaxed believing that a baby would come against all odds and it came to pass! They are now blessed with four kids according to the man.

I continue to pray along with you, your miracle is on the way and we shall have cause to celebrate with you soon. Pls note that its important that you both avoid anxiety. Its done and will surely manifest in Jesus name. Amen.

God will make a way where there seems to be no way,
He works in ways we can not see,
He will make a way for you......

You are a patient and loving man. God will gladden your hearts in due season. Luke 1:37, Job 22.28.
Try to ensure that your wife doesn't get too anxious. Invite nieces, nephews, young cousins etc over during the holiday period.
Yorubas belief of 'ori omo npe omo wa si aye' sometimes works. May we gladly rejoice with on this same forum within next one year, Amen.

Please who knows the place the bridge will take off/land in Ikorodu? I know that if you stand at the jetty at Badore, you will see Ijede(PHCN Egbin Thermal Station) across the lagoon it appears to be an unlikely spot due to security issues etc though it seems a shorter distance even when you look at the map. It doesnt look like its up to 26km.

Could it be one of the other villages? Which one please?

I observed that alledjenu in hausa may be the same as alijonu in Yoruba traditional religion. I don't know so much about traditional religion though.
Politics › Re: Lagos To Demolish Makoko Floating School by delpee(f): 6:42pm On May 05, 2013
The project is a great idea but physical planning is the responsibility of government and approval is required before building any structure. Let's forget sentiments, law and order is vital for good governance. This is not a poor vs rich issue though I feel for makoko residents and hope there's a way to resolve this amicably.

Investment › Re: Why Can't I Maintain My Saving Habit? by delpee(f): 12:16am On Apr 23, 2013
Discipline your mind, set specific achievable targets and be comitted by operating a standing order based term savings scheme which has no atm withrawal options. Try some banking, insurance and pension fund products. Also open an account with stockbrokers and buy shares as often as you can even if in small quantities.

I tried most of the above and have no regrets.
