It is time we started arresting the parents of these criminals. There is no need giving birth to children you are not prepared to train or cared for.

There is always a consequence to the society for every child born in the society. Some of these criminals didn't have any upbringing. Theie parents just brought them into the world without any plans.

Glorifying mediocrity? I wonder what we learn from watching foreign movies. Don't we see how their cities and towns looks? You are glorifying this as if it is the best the government could provide with open gutters.

Why living abroad, each time I wanted to connect back home, I went to youtube to play and listen his music, Osadebe, Sir Warrior and Oliver de Coque.

The same puzzle I haven't been able to answer. Nigerian situation has made people to be extra vigilant when it comes to security.

How do you explain the reason behind installing burglary on the 8th floor of a story building. Which armed rubber would climb up to that height? In as much as all those security measures helps, I haven't seen where rubbers broke into homes without such. It happens but haven't seen myself.

If you are living in a neighbourhood with adequate security, you may not need all those things. But if your area is thieves - infested, please do well to have adequate protective measures in your place.

To live in an area, my two main considerations are security and light situation. Before, I used to consider closeness to my workplace, but not any more since I work at home now or in clients offices. The security where I stay now is top-notch and where I am building is also excellent. No incidence of petty thieves, talk more of armed rubbers or burglars have been reported. Where I am building now, people have short and see through electric fences, with CCTV. Not gigantic fences. I haven't seen any house in my street without cctv and I intend to do same when the times comes. The estate security also patrols on a regular basis.

Good decision. My kids need to give me breathing space at home. It is hell working at home with kids running up and down.
Sometimes, I had to go inside my car and work from there.

Please resume in your new work place. Businesses are suffering big time now during this pandemic and the Nigerian factor.

At least, you will be sure of monthly salary and other emoluments that comes as a corporate worker. Don't allow awon entrepreneurs to deceive you. Running business or being on your own in Nigeria is dangerous and risky.

You need to expand and expound your rules to cover trolling. There are a lot of troll on Nairaland that are trying to inflame society with inciting statements.

The video is doctored, this is an old video from a local beauty pageant organized in one remote community outskirt Lagos, if I can remember correctly, it was Badagry, and the winners were given foodstuffs and live animals as prize.


I remember some Nigerians mocking the organizers of the beauty pageant when the video first surfaced online earlier this year.



Stop spreading fake news and heating up our nation.


Lagos has been peaceful after the peaceful shooting of unarmed protesters at Lekki Toll Gate. I and my crew personally walked round Lagos to verify most of the fake videos of alleged looting and burning of properties and they were all lies, some were mostly old video clips from some war torn African countries and some from Northeast where Boko Haram have destroyed several communities.

I am surprised that some youths bought all those fake videos and news, line, hook and sinker.

As a priest, you can't do anyhow under Cardinal Okogie or Adewale Martins of Lagos.
