If it is a STEM course and you are very good academically and intend to stay in Europe or developed world, then good to go. But if you intend to come back to Nigeria, please forget the idea if it is not STEM course, please don't waste your money. More over, get attached with a seasoned professor to carry out research on topical issues. Some seasoned Professors get funding and grants and take good PH.D students to work with them. Try and always publish in a learned journal |
Don't know why people are saying underage. I am sure the bride is up to 21 and must have graduated. I was born 1979 and my woman was born 1991. We have been married for 7 years now and you won't even notice. Though she looked innocent with sexy small body then, yet very intelligent. Most men still toast her without knowing she has already dropped 3 kids. I married her when she just finished her final year exams and we have been living happily. I allowed her to make her initial mistakes as she wasn't matured then but she picked up dramatically as I became her teacher in practically everything without complaining because the love and bond existing is very very strong. Today, she looks back and smile for the woman I have turned her into. So, please leave the couple alone. The man should be patient with her and allow her develop. He shouldn't beat her o |
Nigerians and their foolishness. See how everybody seems to be wishing people death and still be pretending to love God. Some are saying, God is fighting our battle". Whose battle? Never wish your fellow human death under any circumstances. Most Nigerians are wicked and even worse than the politicians and the rich they are wishing death |
The thing is in Ethiopia and not Nigeria. It arrived Ethiopia for onward distribution to other African countries. It is not yet in Nigeria. Ethiopia will send us the remnants after selecting their own. Trust an African with greed mentality. |
Honestly, Nigerian government need to contact the Syrian - Assad regime or their Russian backers for tactical discipline in a warfare training. How can you load a lorry full of combatants in a war fare like this? See the way Syrian government forces moves against the insurgents. You hardly see lorry load of fighters to avoid being hit by grenade, road side bombs or rockets. Nigerian commanders needs training on tactical discipline and maneuvering. Kai, this loss is huge! Peoples fathers. |
FIRS should shut down biko. They slammed my client with a tax liability and fixed next week as the last day to receive response I am not going to drop any response letter. . I will respond to them via email. Thank God the new tax law now accepts responses to tax queries online. But the analogue FIRS guy that sent the letter wants a hard copy response. Just Imagine! If he does not want email response, he should forget about. |
Honestly, I was not expecting up to 100 ventilators. A whole UK is lamenting that they have only 5,000. I doubt if we have up to that 500. They may not even be functioning. This covid 19 have exposed the inadequacies of our medical system. See other countries taking drastic measures, disinfecting a whole area yet we are to see any thing tangible here. |
being:Good one - I will surely put them in a very modest school in my area. Considering the current economic situation, it may not even be sustainable for me again to retain them in their current school. The fee is quite high. Tougher days are ahead of because of Corona and I need to conserve as much fund as possible as recession is on the way. |
darfay:Sorry o. I am now working for myself. I am not working for anybody and I didn't take anybody's job. |
iCauseTrouble:Bro, this is a nice course o. Be on the look out for jobs from international development agencies and NGOs. Do a specialist course in monitoring and evaluation (M and E) and volunteer with a local organisation to boost your chances with donor agencies. All the best |
I studied Mechanical Engineering (first class) but now a Tax and Management Consultant. The quantitative aspect of my engineering helped me a lot to axe some of the aptitude tests and scholarship exams even qualifying as a chartered accountant without repeating any paper. |
But the rate of breeding in that camp is too much. You will see people in that pitiable condition still giving birth. BBC media action did a documentary and showed a man that gave birth to 9 children in IDP. He came to the cam in 2008 and within a space of 12 years, gave birth to 9 malnourished children. Even the wife was a pity to behold. Poor innocent children. We should endeavour to have the number of kids we could cater for. |
I pity liverpool! They may not be crowned champions of premier leaque as the league would be suspended and declared inconclusive |
My kids na Americans o. I hope de money go reach me |
My kids na Americans o. I hope de money go reach me even |
More troubles for owners of houses around that vicinity. I trust Sanwo Olu, he would demolish all the houses in that area. Most of the houses looks new meaning that they may have been built recently. Nigerian cities lack adequate town planning. |
Nigerian cities are nothing to write home. So disorganised and unplanned. You can't have an emergency and navigate your way out. Bad roads, NEPA electric polls in all places, crude and aggressive looking citizens, lack of environmental aesthetics and total disregard for proper public places. Am sure that pipeline has been exposed for long but our ineffective authorities would be waiting for the worst to happen first. |
Respect Sir. Your behaviour is not what we usually see from a typical Nigerian politician. You aborted your flight and returned back and still paid a visit to the bereaved. That's emotional intelligence. Kudos! |
Anambra is fast becoming den of robbers. Densely populated without meaningful opportunities for the youths. Over population and over breeding will destroy Nigeria. People should have the number of kids they could cater for and not producing potential arm rubbers. Children, if not well trained, turns out to be a menace to the society. Our people will not hear. For them, children na God gifts. Not all but most children of the poor and abandoned usually turns bad and becomes a threat to the society. |
Chancellor ship of a university is given to the office, title or the position the person occupies and not to the person. FG appointing Emir of Zazzau as the Chancellor of UNIBEN does not mean that the person occupying that stool is the one appointed. It is his stool or office. If he leaves that stool, whoever is the Emir of Zazzau takes over the chancelorship of UNIBEN automatically Fayemi is just doing politics and eye service |
I pity the poor woman. It seems you don't have love again for the man. You responded to all bad comments about the man, agreeing with all bad things people said about him to the extend you said you want to divorce him if it comes to that.. There is anger in your heart which quite understandable. There is a thin line between love and hate when it comes to a woman's feeling. Your husband's attitude towards your son is making you to resent him which is understandable. please still plead with him. I feel the emotional trauma that boy is passing through. Children staying with relatives loose greater part of their childhood and do turn out bad. Cry to your husband and beg him except he has a heart of stone. It is difficult for a man to accept another man's child. Just relates this to what lions does once they enter into a new pride, they first kill the cubs of the former lion king to put the female lions on heat so that he would father a new set of pride. Lions detest cubs of other lions so much. I wish you all the best - You have a date with that boy on Sunday as you said. Don't fail him |
Where is that former Man United that came to Lagos and was saying rubbish. He even said that Ighalo is too heavy and slow to fit into united and premier leaque - Leo Ferdinand, come and say that trash again. Sadly, some of our country men supported that assertion and made mockery of Ighalo Let him come again and talk. Once it is your time to shine, even your stupidity will be applauded. Well done Ighalo |
This is not time for any frivolities and celebration. Please, focus should be on the economy. Nigerians don't know what is coming soon concerning the impact of this virus on world economy. if you follow the world economy and the happenings around, this is the time for our economic planners to go to work for those working or running their business, please save. Don't spend on unnecessary thing. Massive job losses looms as company struggles against liquidity and foreign exchange. Importers are no more importing and essential raw materials in industry will soon run out. For those in paid employment, pray for job security as I don't know if companies will survive this onslaught. Government should face serious business |
They should determine what happened. most people have started pointing their fingers at heardsmen when they are not sure. Just as someone said, Ebonyi state is the bastion of communal and kindred conflicts in the SE. I don't support the heardsmen but I have noticed, especially the people from SE that once there is an attack in their area, the next suspect is Fulani heardsmen which is not healthy for our country. I remember the attack in the catholic church in Anambra where more than 15 were killed, the news flying around were that herdsmen attacked the church when it was actually a drug gang war. moreover, that video seems so fake to me. Ebonyi state government have not reacted and people from that area have said that such thing did not happen. Nigerians should stop fake news and rumours as it was fake news that caused the Rwanda genocide. People digest fake news quickly in this part of the world. |
I don't know why people from the South, especially SE are attacking this appointment. You guys will never put your house in order and will always be quick to comment on things that concerns other zones. Mention Tinubu now and you will hear them lambasting the man as if he is the cause of their problem. Others will be re strategizing and they will be busy chasing shadows and mundane things. Let them keep following the deceiver called Cownu, e go clear for their eye. |
Unrated900:You got it - you just took it out of my mouth. The cemetery in the pic is too neat to be a Nigerian cemetery Most cemetery in Nigeria are more of bush without proper maintenance except the ones privately owned. This is a typical European cemetery looking at the grasses and the surrounding environment. |
They said he is been positioned to succeed Buhari. It is the Northern agenda for him to take over in 2023 being that the man is highly respected and appreciated by the people from the South. That's what one police man in my client's place just said and that I should watch out for Sanusi in 2023. Sanusi is coming! |
The information I got now from Kano direct is that the Emir has been dethroned and removed. |
I am currently doing a work for a client at his company's premises outside Lagos with accommodation for the past three weeks. I am almost done with my mission but the fear of coming back to Lagos is deeply troubling. My wife has been on my neck to come back as she is missing me. But the comfort I am enjoying in the hotel my client put me, which is a walking distance to his company location is too good to leave and come and face this Lagos wahala. I have told my wife that I will extend my stay by one more week to have enough rest even my client agreed with me to chill with him in his hotel before returning to Lagos madness. Lagos is a mess biko, if not the money to be made there ![]() |
I intend leaving the national grid by next year ending. My inverter is serving me but just for 8 to 10 hours without recharge. By next year, I want to cover the roof top of my house with at least 12 solar panels and increase my batteries to either 6 or 8 depending on finances. By then, it would be bye bye to blackout (NEPA) and welcome light (Solar). |
Guestuser:You dey mind dem. Some people are just too shallow minded and some idiots were even quoting me saying that anti venom would have to be produced from that snake. Imagine the reasoning. Go online and see varieties of anti venom that have been produced from different snakes. In Plateu and Benue states, where snake bites are high, govt do stuck anti snake venoms in some designated hospitals. |
supercase1:All the people quoting me on making anti venom shows how shallow minded you guys are. So when snake bites someone, the person will wait till they extract venom to make anti venom snake? This is the failure of our universities and research institutions. Overseas, most of venoms from different snake species had already been researched and produced and labelled. Most times, it is to determine the particular species of snake that bite the person. Please, you people should read up and watch more of what happens abroad before saying anything. There are researcher dedicated to snake poisons and have produced anti snake poisons from a variety of snakes. When a snake victim gets to hospital, he is first stabilised before determining the anti poison to use. You don't have to extract it from that particular snake at that time as long as you know the species. Same species of snakes carry the same poison content. |
