Why don’t u eat Egusi ? I’m curious, I want to know .

When I was much younger I also don’t eat egusi , I don’t eat ewedu laced with egusi, neither do I eat egusi ijebu ( just plain watery egusi and pepper spiced with dried fish or any protein ).

When a paternal aunt came to stay with us for few months she accused my mum for spoiling me and allowing me to decide whatever soup/food I like or I don’t . She would carry stick, sit with me and try to force me eat any of the aforementioned soup/food. She usually gets frustrated Cos I end up not eating at all. Later she realized her folly that u can only force the horse to the stream but can’t force it to drink from it. She apologized to my mum and allowed me choose what I eat .


Funny enough , now that I’m all grown some of those meals/food/soup are my favorites now. Egusi with garri at a standard Igbo kitchen is what I don’t play with anytime I’m in an area that has such mouth watering delicacy . Even ewedu with egusi goes well in my mouth with Amala well well. Even carrot that I don’t eat back then, it’s a must for me in my stir fry spaghetti, fried rice or coconut rice .

Thanks ma. It is a pity that a mother has taken care of 7 children all alone and at her old age none of them is ready to take care of her, it is really sad. She only has 3 children alive the others 4 are dead it was only my late wife and her late sister who truly loved her wholeheartedly.

It's different if you are planning on marrying a girl and something serious like health challenge happens and you later cancel your plans.

Can A guy of 38yrs old settle down (Marry) a lady of 28yrs old?

Is she not going to be older than he after she gave birth?
