Denvacandy:
Bros, i dont even talk about how much i make or tell them when i recieve credit alert, this my 2 brodas live far away from each other, infact we have not seen each others for close to 7months now.

Let me make this clear to you, you cannot hide money for long, people will notice you already have money.

When you dey fresh and change shoes cloth and even making crazy moves, how will they not know you already have money

I try as much as possible to hide it away from people that i have money but no.

Do you know the meaning of someone that has suffered and smells compare to when you see the person now and the smell of peff won make u hug the person? you see fresh shoes and cloths?

Shey hin go steal am ni?
If you can afford it, please move out to avoid familiar people monitoring you or trying to make you feel bad for making money. Sometimes, people may have to move away from our family and stay on our own to be sane.

Just send her monthly upkeep (probably reduce it and let's see what she has to say) and stop the buying things around. Let your family handle it as they have been doing as your imput is not appreciated.

Some people on the forum may try to make you feel spending your money on your family is showing off. They are just speaking from an elder brother's perspective because it makes them feel small. Just try to move out ASAP.
Family › Re: How My Brother Wife Destroyed Her Home After Husband Travelled Abroad. by ImaIma1(f):
So between 2007 and 2021, your brother couldn't allow his family join him? He leaves his family here for over a decade and expects all to be well by just sending money? Did she marry the guy or money? Did he come back to visit at all? That is not marriage again. They should have just separated.

You did not mention if his brother had another wife/concubine/girlfriend in the UK that has been meeting his sexual needs all through those years. Or has he been celibate for over 10 years?

Yes, the woman should have exercised more restraint and behaved more responsible. But your brother brought it upon himself.
Family › Re: Wife's Family Home Versus Husband's Family Home by ImaIma1(f): 5:46am On Nov 28, 2021
If she's travelling alone with the kids, it's more likely she will go to her own family where she feels more free. But it depends on how welcome and free she feels with her husband's family.

Besides, with husband's family, there might be too much expectations that she may not live up to, which they could use against her.

The most important thing is to enjoy the holidays and go to where you are most welcome.

Yeah. But they need to be discreet and not show it. It does more harm than good to a child feeling that mummy or daddy doesn't love me as much as they do my sister/brother.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Could This Job Of N130k Weekly Payment Be Real? by ImaIma1(f): 3:19pm On Nov 27, 2021
ifytrik:
So a friend of mine who is based in Lagos state called me few weeks back and was telling about how he is earning 225$ per week working for a foreign company in Lagos, I converted the money to naira and it was almost 130thousand naira per week shocked

I asked him if there is vacancy in the company so I will apply and he said he will do something about it, he called me yesterday and said there is vacant for two workers and he has already collected one form for me, he said I should prepare myself make sure i come over to lagos between today (Friday 26th Nov 2021) to(Monday 29th Nov 2021)

He said the registration fee is 450thound naira, and I must come with the money, he also said if I fail to come before or on Tuesday morning next week then they will give the job to someone else.

Nairalanders based in Lagos state please help a brother, I don't want to be scammed, do you know of such company? Could this be real or another mmm?
Ask questions first and do your research. One of my sister's staff was scammed by his own blood brother. The brother said there was a job in Benin Republic but he had to pay 2,000usd. The guy resigned from his job here and went to Benin Rep.

He was still in contact with my sister and giving her updates. It ended up being a scam...network marketing (all those bring 2 people tins). So his brother brought him as one of his 2 people.

Luckily, he got his money back and came back to the job he left.

BlueRayDick:
I don’t think we we have so much atheists like that in Nigeria( by atheists i mean people who actually don’t believe in the existence of God/the supreme being) , rather what we have in Nigeria is a growing case of people that have stopped going to church or mosque because they’ve grown tired of it and have seen the hypocrisy of some of the proponents of the two major religions.

Nigerians (especially the youth ) are just not interested in what pastors and Islamic clerics have to say.
That's why I'm interested in knowing the age range of these so called atheists in Nigeria

JungleJustice01:
I've been thinking strongly of relocating these past couple years and I've made up mind I'm going for it in 2022.

I'm awaiting my IELTS result already and will redo if needed.

A little bio
31 years with about 8 years professional experience in Agric, top tier companies, married with 1 child and expecting one by June next year. I'll be able to come up with #5million for this project.

3 options on my mind.

1. Canada skilled migration
2. Australian skilled migration
3. Post graduate in Germany.

I've breezed through their pages but there's so much information to consume and so right now, I want to make a reasonable choice I can follow through to the end.

Which option do I have/has the best prospects for me please. I've thought of USA post graduate but the tuitions are just too high.

Thanks
There are schools in the US that offer up to full scholarships if you have a good GRE score. Get a good score, write a great personal statement and anticipate. Plus the US has many job opportunities.

Germany is ok too, though you have to learn the language.

Events › Re: How Did You Manage Marriage Preparations Pressure? by ImaIma1(f): 4:15pm On Nov 24, 2021
Take it easy so that you are not a stressed bride. Try to get your friend to help you with some things that don't need your presence.

In my case, my sisters were very helpful, they practically followed me everywhere and made it fun. Besides, they were helping subsidize expenses. One took care of the makeup artist, one paid for catering, while one cooked a special dish for the trad.

So it depends on your family and support. Stick to your budget. If your family wants some extra, let them pay for it.

soon as your wife starts cheating, just know there's something that you are not doing, go down on your knees and pray, don't let another man break your home. Always appear neat the way you were the very first time you approached her and don't yell at her all the time, show her care and love so that she will not look outside, sometimes walk around naked and don't wear anything to bed, always try to catch her attention. Thanks and God bless you as you do so.

OP don mad.

Instead of advocating for Magun, let’s de-emphasize marriage. Marriage is a trap that does both parties no good. They are just trapped there in sadness.

People who are attracted to each other should be able to do whatever they wish without the guilt of marriage. Infidelity in marriage will continue to grow until we all agree to end the damned institution.
How do you know that married people are trapped in sadness? Are you trapped in sadness?

People who want to keep getting attracted to other people and do whatever they wish, should not get married.

Marriage is a covenant, it's not an institution that people just wake up and jump into. And it is for mature minds.

Bringing it here has once again reminded the adulterers and the intending adulterers that they risk a chance of death via magun.
And being bold to call evil the evil that it is, goes a long way to give strength to those societal values instead of making it look as if those evils are now acceptable.
You know why the adulterers and runs girls don't want people to talk about it? It's because talking about it pricks their conscience and reminds them how vile they are, instead of keeping quiet and making them feel that they are now acceptable to normal society.
And as for judging them, we will continue to judge the evil and the immoral because we love their souls and want them to stop and change. The Bible says " Tell the wicked that it shall not go well with him". If people keep quiet, the evil and the adulterers would believe that what they are doing is alright.
If he can't tell them to their faces, the ones on this platform at least would read and be reminded that there are consequences for such degrading lifestyle, here and in eternity.
That is good.

I just wish the op and you guys also put in the same effort in calling cheating husbands out, instead of "keeping quiet and making them feel that they are now acceptable to normal society". At least the Bible says "But it shall not go well with wicked..." Eccl 8:13

So let's keep up the same energy brother.

Those young people that don't make money don't know how to use things prudently. They abuse the use of food, especially provisions in the house.

I understand it perfectly. I have nephews that are like drums. As long as they are in the house, you can't see bread, biscuits, etc lying idly. They massacre everything, even baby milk, baby cereal, etc. And it can be very annoying when you open the tin of milk to use and it's all.gone.

The best thing to do is to give her own portion of milk, beverage, etc to her, whether a tin or more for the month and lock up the others you and your wife use. Let her know that she is to manage it for the month.

As per house work, she should be mandated to do some chores to assist since that's why she came. You guys need to remove sentiments and work around it.
