pauljumbo:// Why aren't you solving them since you know? We need our own version of Jeff Bezos. // |
pauljumbo:/ What is your definition of "more opportunity"? / |
ogtavia:/ Because it is. Toyota is Lexus; Lexus is Toyota. Toyota Landcruiser == Lexus LX Toyota Prado == Lexus GX Toyota Camry == Lexus ES A little interior and exterior modifications. Sometimes it depends on the geographic location. Toyota Prado in Nigeria/Europe is sold as Lexus GX in US. |
YoungFr:/ Because given the same resources, a Nigerian mind gravitates towards crime. Many people are making a living in e-commerce but armed with the same technology, Nigerian youths prefer to scam and steal. / |
Forget Nigerian version of Christianity it is mostly populated by scammers. Not all but majority/ Anyone can make demands. Blame the neanthertals that will pay N500k to this scammer. Creflo Dollar demanded $65m private jet and Americans gave him a piece of their minds until he recoiled to his shell. But I don't trust Nigerians to speak up against this moronic scammer. // |
AutoReportNG:/ I applaud your work. Photojournalism...no long stories, no propaganda. // |
/ You don't see the Chinese, Indians or Arabs coming to Nigeria to form cults. When Malaysians have had enough of the menace of Nigerian urchins and take laws into their hands, folks will jump online to scream "xenophobia!". // |
/ What?!!! Python scared or tired of dancing? // |
/ I would have suggested an XD-40 but this doesn't call for it. / |
/ If you come to the clinic and complain of being fulfilled in life and always happy, you definitely will get prescription against "overhappiness". Just like political correctness, medical diagnosis has gone overboard. / |
CastedGist:/ More heartbreak for the lonely feminists who ask, "who marriage help?" Sandra has abandoned ship! Ikeji sisters are playing: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. / |
VP Osibanjo in Enugu. Where is Kenneth Okonkwo (APC candidate)? I can't find him in the pictures. / |
Rubbiish:/ I guess everyone is different. Some family members had done work for me before. The only incentive I got was that some of them gave me 10-15% discount from the best offer I got. The advantage they had was that I showed them the quotations I got from others. That way everyone was happy. Personally, I wouldn't let him do the work without stating his price. If he insists that it is free, so be it. Sometimes, the ones who want to offer free services have been benefiting in one way or the other from the sibling. It must not be monetary benefits. The OP knows his brother better. Eg: The best quote obtained: N100k. Brother decides to do it for N80k Savings: N20K. I pay him N80k. At the completion, I pay him extra 50% of the money saved. So his total: N90k. My saving: N10k. NB: "I will do it for free" is not in my people's lexicon. ![]() / |
Chizuru01:/ Even at that, folks in US do not throw down $1000 to get iPhone x. The payment is broken down, tied to a carrier through contract that it is effortlessly affordable. One can even trade in old iPhones for more discount. I shake my head at Nigerians sometimes because as soon as they get iPhone x, I already know that iPhone y is on the way. But then, each one pursues what makes him/her happy. / |
/ It is sad that Oshiomhole does not understand the roles, duties and responsibilities of a party chairman. His utterances are causing more problems whether it is against Ngige,Saraki, opponents and party members alike. APC is not NLC. // |
banio:/ I have had issues with them before. They are not interested in employment. They want handouts so they can go and drink their sorrows away. After settlement, they will still come back next year for the same free money. / |
What is happening to Christianity in Nigeria is not new. When folks lose control of their lives and let poverty ravage their senses, it makes sense that they apply to higher power for financial deliverance. Unscrupulous middlemen are always available to play on their ignorance and extort what is left of their existence. With the money collected from these gullible followers, they go to the best hospitals in the world while giving anointing oil for illness to their followers. God will not heal you through prayers. God gave the gift and knowledge of diagnosis to doctors to cure you. Take it or leave it. Some wasted their hard-earned money on pastors looking for miracle cure to the extent that by the time the real investigation and diagnosis are carried out, something like cancer has metastasized all over their system. The Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury are not ashamed to admit that they visit doctors. But some knucklehead in Nyanya will tell his followers to use holy water or oil in lieu of medications. Knock yourselves out!!! / |
alstacs:/ Your house, your term. Give him N30k and keep something on the side to add if he complains. Otherwise, he should be able to name his price. But then being your brother, he "may" be doing this with expectations of some favours from you down the road. It is a loaded gesture. No price, no work. / |
/ Just shake it off and move on. Oyibo has medication for everything including happiness ...all in a bid to get your money. It is a result of localized pressure on a body part. Let the pressure release and go on with your life. Simple. / |
/ He could have taken GED (US equivalent of SSCE/WAEC) But they need the name of the university he claimed to have attended so that Osun people can apply due diligence in investigating him. / |
GistMore:/ When you wake up in the morning knowing that there is no boss waiting for you in the office. / |
/ Boko Haram keeps using Nigerian soldiers for target practice. / |
OEPHIUS:/ That is a very quick investigation and inference. The event happened on Monday. He started investigation on Tuesday and had the report by Wednesday. Then turned the report to the public on Thursday. Wow!!! NPF is a joke. / |
/ Shouldn't he be talking to a judge to get a warrant? What has doing his job got to do with VP Osibanjo? The level of sycophancy in Nigeria is nauseating. / |
/ Shouldn't he be talking to a judge to get a warrant? What has doing his job got to do with VP Osibanjo? / |
modelmike7:/ They mess up Nigeria and send their kids abroad to get very good education. When the kids graduate, Nigerian youths stuck in Nigeria are fighting among themselves on who will be the first to shout "Congratulations!". Nigeria is one heck of an amusement park. / |
/ And the marriage ring magical disappeared. Kudos to Dr. Miss L. Ikeji. / |
/ Car buyers in Nigeria cannot afford the cars they want sometimes. So unscrupulous dealers fill the void by buying junk cars, putting new bumpers and repainting them to stay within the intended price range. This is the only way they can stay afloat. Someone will show up to bid N1.8m for a 2010 Camry. There is always someone ready to sell ASIS. Final final, the ball joint pulls, car summersaults and owner dies while "wicked uncles in the village" take the blame. I will never ship any car to Nigeria for sale. It is not worth the time and effort. / |
/ As long as you don't have control over the resources of the state or by proxy, you are politically insignificant. Ex-governors who are not at peace with their successors are usually relegated to the back eg Orji Kalu, Chimaroke, Peter Obi all lost out while Tinubu, Saraki, and others in the know continue to stay relevant. Akpabio cannot pull much weight in Akwaibom anymore since folks shift loyalty as fast as their stomach would let them. / |
/ Awwww... So much creativity in useless things. What a surprise?! / |
Fact: Buhari is bad. GEJ was equally bad as a President. From frying pan to fire? Both are still hot. It is like the food on fire regretting why it didn't stay in the frying pan. GEJ lovers are as delusional as PMB's admirers. Nigeria is still a shithole country. // |
