I don't think you know what's going on in that marriage so i suggest you mind your business. Something caused a shift in her attitude and your brother knows that. Until he stops playing the white ostrich and tackles the problem remotely, he will continue to experience what he is currently experiencing. Every human fights back when pushed to the wall. Men fight back with fist while women fight back with bad attitude. |
Thank you guys for your service. |
MikeMicheal:That's because most pilots fight to bring it down in those areas to reduce fatality on the ground. A cargo plane that once crashed into an apartment killed more people on the ground even with all the efforts the pilot put in to avoid that. Plane crash is an unfortunate incident. If it hasn't happened to you as pilot, you won't understand. Facing an impending death and still putting up a fight against it is a virtue probably only pilots and military men have. |
Is it that hard to get the services of an attorney in naija? If the man is abusing her, she has the right to file for divorce biko and have her peace. As for the children, I believe the court will grant her custody if they are still kids. I only hope we are not conniving against an innocent man somewhere because the story is one sided. |
onumadu:So if he doesn't pray, he won't see a wife to marry? Well he is a Nigerian and just like every Nigerian, I guess the first thing he needs to do is talk to his pastor. This country is funny aswear. ![]() |
Mine is very small but they are the best gift I've ever received from heaven. Whatever my mum and my sister can't do for me, they can't do for themselves as well and vice versa. Yes sometimes they call me naughty but they give me the greatest respect humans can ever give to a man even though the man sef na the youngest. What I'm saying is, I love my family, they love me and we treat each other right. |
Please drag their asses, but first make sure it wasn't an accident. I added make sure because the teacher might have wanted to just spank the kid and lost control of his hand by accident. If it wasn't an accident, the teacher should pay dearly for this. I hate people that maltreat kids. ![]() |
They have assigned special counsel to the case just like it was done to Trump. Mek dem barb his hair like they barb Republicans win again. ![]() |
BlueRayDick:The fish looks scary... |
If I must live in Lagos then I'll have to sell my papa land and buy helicopter. Lagos traffic is terrific and there's this uneasiness in everyone's face except those that live and work on the island. Ikeja area is also okay if you just sit around lazying like who come for holiday. ![]() |
Olasyke:Except you're talking about apartments, trailer parks and fixer uppers, 200k will not buy you anything in FL real estate market. Are you aware that down payment is 20% of the house you intend to buy. Except for first time home buyers who may pay 6%, I doubt 200k will even be enough as down payment for nice beach front houses in FL which are now in millions. Ordinary 2bed apartments are now close to a million at the beach fronts. 200k is nothing in real estates around some states in US. |
I read your previous thread and to be honest, I had good laugh. Taking decision in anger doesn't take humans anywhere. You shouldn't have been mad at her the way you did without first hearing her out. I fear she had taken your threats seriously and moved out because you said you didn't want to see her again meaning you didn't want the marriage anymore. If you really need her back like you claim, start by talking to her dad and please take control of your temper because if na my daughter you talk to like that and she came back, I'll have you pay a new brideprice before taking her again. ![]() |
It's like trademark for Nigerians especially in Lagos. I was at a restaurant the other day and all the tables had phones littered on them. I wondered how people managed to have their phones on the same table with their foods. I'm not talking about one phone, I'm talking about one person having three phones. So imagine four persons in a table each with three phones. Why do many Nigerians even have two to three mobile phones? I see it as burden. ![]() |
It's time to call that your brother, uncle, aunty and cousin in Amelika and ask how he or she is doing. Don't wait until you need help before sending them WhatsApp message, say hello now. Ask if they are affected by the flood and if yes, offer words of support and if no, just say you saw the news and thought it's wise to check on them. Doing this will show them that aside demanding help, you also care and who knows, it may trigger another round of western union transfer for you. ![]() |
The white man treated us badly but we must rise against self pity and the best way to pay them back is by excelling in all we do. Yes it's hard to associate with them sometimes after reading certain stories but with the right attitude, we make them regret their actions everyday. Proudly African-***** and repping Naija always. ![]() |
Where's the shortage? You don't judge with your location, you need to check other areas as well. I've been here barely one week and I can tell you for free that Nigerians ladies are tall because a good number of them are between 5.5 to 5.9s. A lady of 5.5 to 5.9 is considered averagely tall for the gender. |
This is because some moms, not all, manipulate the children emotionally to believe they care for them more than their fathers do. Also, several fathers are what I call deadbeat dads who must have bottles of beers every evening at the expense of hungry children. Even if the beer is awoof, why can't they ask the buyer to buy them food items for their families instead? If I wan buy you beer and you ask that I use the money to buy you few cups of garri instead, trust me, I will gladly oblige. In all these, we men and especially fathers should be engaging their kids more to avoid this issue of buying kai-kai for us and buying hollandis for the women. I know many fathers make sacrifices but they need to be visible to these kids so that when they carry the kai-kai come as usual, you go get mouth shout at them. ![]() |
Never love your boss, just love what you do. If your former boss care about you, she would've done everything not to see you go but she didn't. Now that you have a new job, focus on it unless you plan to lose it too. Shalom. |
So this is an issue too. ![]() |
If she is a good lady in all ramifications and the positives outweigh the negatives, go for it bro. Finding good woman now is not easy so certain illnesses shouldn't even be given serious attention when searching for spouse. However, check your finances and most importantly, make sure she is able to compromise on issues when needed to. This is very important. Shalom |
It's not about calling or not calling but about them being assured of your love and loyalty even when you don't have time to talk on phone. There are times I don't talk with my mum and sister for a month but they know I can't trade them for anything in this world even when I'm invisible. Teach your parents to also pick up his phone and call you sometimes. It should be a two way thing, not only one party making all the calls. |
My cousin say na me mek his wife miss bank job opportunity. I asked him how? He said, remember that time in October that I asked you for a favor of 1million and you said you didn't have a way to send it to me because you traveled out of your base? I said yes. He then said, because you didn't give me the money and I couldn't borrow from anywhere, the person that promised my wife the bank job said she was not serious and didn't give her the job. My people, I didn't know if I should be mad at him or just laugh at his stupidity but one thing was clear to me that day, most Nigerians have entitlement mentality. |

That your wife must a Nigerian politician and you, the masses. Oga, wait for the change she promised naa. ![]() |
I'll simply get a wheelchair and sit at the sidewalk like I'm retarded. All the cars will definitely stop one after the other, na obodo oyibo, no be Naija. I will cross the road and use the 50m to go drink Hennessy and chyke woman. ![]() |

No matter what anyone says, marriage will continue to be a beautiful thing but only for two beautiful people. I have seen beautiful unions and I've seen terrible ones. In most of the terrible, both genders share the blames though not equally. However, I advise us men to take all the time we need before making that big decision. This is because you can know a man in one month but you can never know a woman in one year no matter how you try. Never rush into marriage with a lady you haven't seen her bad side before. Every human has this monster side so look beyond the love and find out how bad her own monster side is before making any serious commitment. |
TheGoodAmerican:So is it safe to also say that a single man without kids has no business dating or marrying a single mother with 3 kids? We men have seen all manner of injustice in this life shaa. ![]() |
God is now dumb that he needs someone's mouth to speak with eekwa. Well, keep waiting on God to tell you who to vote for, nothing consain us wey dey live in Cotonou. Naija now na place for vacation for me, nothing to gain, nothing to lose if anything good or bad happens to it. |
Dude is sick and may be dying but his disappearance is a wish many will wait for a long time to come true. Even if anything happens to him now, the caucus will still want to use his double to accomplish the set tasks. |
