This here is a reason many people mess up beautiful relationships. They make rules for people they haven't met, drawing conclusions from their past experiences instead of judging their partner by his/her own character.

So if you're with a man that meets your needs and he doesn't have to time to wash his dishes and he asks you to do it, so you won't help meet his need because you're not a slave? Interesting

During my NYSC days a woman was amazed when I told her I'll cut my vegetables at home.

But now, I don over lazy.

You see vegetables, meat and fish, I prefer to cut them myself.

The reason is that I prefer to wash the vegetables thoroughly first before cutting them, and I also pluck the leaves one by one to make sure I remove the infested ones if there's any.

I wash the meat before and after cutting it, as for fish, I like them big so the market women may not cut it the size I want.

Marriage wahala.

Day 1: I saw Nneka and her husband today, they look so cute.

Day 2: My friend Oge is getting married tomorrow.

Day 3: My friends husband bought Galaxy S5 for her.

Day 4: You remember that my school mate I told you about that day? She's getting married soon.

It continued like this for long. I was like don't you have single friends?

Hian....... Months later.

She: You remember that guy I told you about? The one that has been asking me out? He's back in the country and wants to meet. He wants to marry me.

Me: Marry him.

That was it. We quarreled and she left. Days later she shared pictures she snapped with the guy on whatsapp status. Even when they were abed.

Dude collected his own share of the spoils and left. She found out later that he's married and quietly slide back into singlehood.

We still single till today.

Okay here is what I picked from the part that I read.

You were supposed to go out with your babe.

But unfortunately she said she could not make it and you lashed out immediately.

This here is madness.

You see all these unnecessary tussle for superiority or head of or man of whatever that you guys do in a relationship bah? It doesn't make sense.

Where's the love? Where's the understanding?

Normally you're supposed to be angry, that's okay. You're human but you're not supposed to lash out.

You're supposed to ask her the kinda last minute chores that would make her cancel what you guys have planned for long.

Maybe her explanation would make you understand. And if you listen carefully, you might hear the words the she didn't say. You might learn that she's equally pissed at the whole thing but just can't help it.

Then you guy will make arrangements for another day. But nah, you lashed at her to prove alpha male and then added to her frustration which was why she returned the man so that she can at least have rest.

Relationship isn't as hard as you guys make it in your attempts to prove being the superior man.
