To an Egyptian Ra (personal name) is his ADONAI (LORD) to a Greek man Zeus is (personal God) is his ADONAI (LORD) to an Indian KRISHNA (personal name) is his ADONAI (LORD) to a Roman JUPITER (personal name) is his ADONAI (LORD)

So if Chi means guardian angel the personal name of the Hebrew God doesn't mean the same it is a name that no nation call except they are having a dealing with the Hebrews.

That's the difference, this thread is about use of speech or expressions not the name of God or Gods.

Guy i can understand how difficult this could be for you after disgracing yourself publicly thinking people who never followed Jesus' teachings could be Christians. A follower of Christ.

So there is no way people who never saw Jesus or learn from his trained disciples can become Christians that's just the simple truth. You can continue with your friends who maliciously supports you out of spite against Jehovah's Witnesses none of them can say a Muslim or Judaist is a Christian simply because such ones have heard about the prophecy of the Christ.

A Christian is someone who follows the things spoken by Jesus of Nazareth that's why he said all those who lived before John the baptist are lesser than John because such ones never had the opportunity to become Christians learning from the world's most wonderful counselor of all time but those who have learned from Jesus are greater than those people because Jesus the wisdom of God has taught us how to live in Paradise! Matthew 11:11-12

So if you're not humble enough to admit your blunders there is no way you and i can agree!

Christians must have the knowledge of what Jesus of Nazareth taught, believe his teachings, ready to practice what Jesus taught, dedicate their lives to God and getting baptized in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Of course it doesn't mean they have perfect knowledge yet that's why the learning continues even after baptism! Matthew 28:20

So those who never knew Jesus of Nazareth or what he taught ARE NOT CHRISTIANS!

Again just because you say he wasn't a Christian does not make it so. As I said, most christians would not recognize Jesus in person if he visited their churches today so what is your point about John exactly?

Accurate knowledge about the Christ involves three things:

•Prophecies about the Christ:
Jesus' disciples who stick to him believed the prophecies about the Christ that's why they're able to recognize him out of many who were claiming they're the Christ in the first century.

•Who fulfilled the messianic prophecies:
There were many in the first century claiming they are the Christ but Jesus fulfilled prophecies pointing to the Christ. That's why his disciples started following to LEARN from him.

•And practicing what the Christ taught:
Many also followed Jesus after seeing the evidences that he is the Christ but later got tired and left him never to follow him again.

So being a Christian has much more than just knowing prophecies that's why the Ethiopian Eunuch couldn't understand what he was reading yet it was the prophecies about the Christ that he was reading, had it been Philip wasn't sent to explain to him he couldn't have had that he must be BAPTIZED in the name of Jesus for him to become a Christian!

In this verse, even those baptized in the name of John are called disciples.
I hope you get that.
So as usual, you have no point.

Prophesies about the Christ totally differs from meeting the Christ in person or learning from those TRAINED by the Christ.

For your information John the baptist saw and grew up as Jesus' cousin but it's until he baptized Jesus he never knew that his cousin is the promised Christ yet after John was imprisoned he began having doubts feeling maybe Jesus isn't the expected Christ after all! Matthew 11:2-3

Of course John the baptist was never a Christian because he didn't follow nor practice what Jesus taught despite being the most favored of all the prophets! Matthew 11:11-12

So prophecies or being a prophet doesn't automatically makes someone a Christian!
