See Ghana? When visionary leaders saddled the affairs of this great nation in 60s and 70s Ghanaians came here as beggars. But today Buhari has made Nigerians everywhere to be fugitives even in their own country
Well, regardless of how visionary the leaders are, the size of Nigeria implies that you'll always see Nigerians in large quantities in other countries just like Chinese and Indians.
FamilyRe: Should I Adopt My Fiancee's Son Legally? by WoundedLamb:
Dude, follow your heart. In your position, I would want to adopt him too cause even if you don't adopt him, he's still your lady's child and you'd still contribute to his upbringing. So why not just make him your child? But the real question is, can you do this without the father's consent? If you can, would that be fair to him? Empathy demands that you get him involved in the plan. It's morally right even if the law doesn't demand that (I'd be surprised if it doesn't).
PoliticsRe: Feminist Coalition Publishes Audited Accounts Of #EndSARS Donations by WoundedLamb: 3:33pm On May 08, 2021
It will take a miracles for Nigerians to ever believe any Nigerian in power again. Today, you think they don't trust just the leaders cause they are corrupt but the truth is that they don't even trust one another. Regardless of how far this group might have gone to ensure the accuracy of this report, Nigerians would still shout 'looting!' Even if ICAN, PWC, KPMG, Delloit and EY stamped the report together, Nigerians will still call it a coalition of scammers. More so, they always focus more on the dividing factors than the unifying ones. It's either "this group is led by women, we can't just follow them" or "the leaders of this group are mostly Yorubas/Igbos, they can't lead us". I just wonder what the future holds for you guys.

Didn't Kim kardashian divorce Kanye West to become a billionaire?
Like I said it is an indisputable fact
That's why I said most of you are more interested in winning an argument at all costs than being logical/factual. Out of all the names I mentioned, you just picked one that you think might help your argument and automatically, that one name alone makes your claim factual. Assuming Kim really got her billionaire status from divorce, what of other names on the list up there?

Anyway, to burst your bubbles, Kim became a billionaire before the marriage ended. Kanye did not the pay Kim any alimony because they had a prenup and each party managed thier wealth independently. It's obvious you're taking on a subject you have zero knowledge about. You guys don't read to learn how things work in civilized societies but you'd be the first to type dumb things and scream "fact!".

Oga she doesn't need all those heavy utensils. Let me give examples. A dozen of plastic flat plates #1,800, small pot for stew #800, a dozen of spoon #300, A bag of satchet water #300, 2tubers of yam #1,600, Potato #1,000, Plantain #1,500, a table and bench #7,500, firewood #1,500. Rough estimate for all these #16,300. Don't know the price of that big umbrella. But if you are using gas your estimate might increase. Just trying to help her start cause she doesn't need to start on a big scale. As the business progresses you can start adding other things. Hope it helps grin
Here I was thinking oil is needed! Thanks for the tips.

BusinessRe: Melinda Gates Is Now A Billionaire, After A Stock Transfer From Her Ex Husband by WoundedLamb:

The only way women become billionaires is from divorce-VERIFIED FACT
In truth the future is females leeching on successful men to achieve their dreams.

That's why the adage says Behind every successful man is a feminist waiting to either accuse him of rape or file for divorce and take a cut from his wealth"
Ronaldo and Bill Gates are good examples
Verified fact indeed. You guys just type anything and call it fact just to satisfy your argument. Alice Walton, Jacqueline Mars, Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey and many other ladies became millionaires while single or married.

What you've failed to realize is that alimony is paid by the earning gender to the one who took care of the home, and the amount is measured in terms of opportunities forgone. While men pay alimony more often due to the fact that women are believed to be home keepers, women are pay alimony as well especially now that many women are becoming breadwinners. Jennifer Lopez, Anna Faris, Mel B., Kate Winslet, Mary J. Blige, Elizabeth Taylor, Anne Heche, Madonna, etc. paid MILLIONS of US dollars.

If you don't want to pay alimony, you and your wife should be working and also be doing housekeeping equally (or, at least, get her to agree it's her decision not to work). You can't just have a woman running your home while you're making it out there and then you come back home one day after so many year and decide to kick her out; for her to go where? Alimony balances things out.

This is just a stock transfer. Wait till the divorce is over.
HealthRe: Help Me! Any Possible Means Of Contacting HIV? by WoundedLamb: 6:55pm On May 07, 2021
OP, in as much as one can get infected just by doing what you did, it's very unlikely that you got the virus. First of all, the chances of getting infected with HIV when you have sex with a HIV positive person without condom is not really as high as most people think and it's even lower for men (this isn't public knowledge cause it would encourage recklessness). Second, if she was HIV positive with undetectable viral load (like many are), then your chances of getting the virus is 0%. Third, she seemed very cautious herself; I'd like to believe she doesn't have the virus. Finally, whenever you have such fear after any form of exposure, the best to do is to get PEP the next day.

Someone living your lifestyle should know all these. I can see some shallow thinkers above calling girls "ashawo" forgetting that the person that created this thread is a guy who sleeps around recklessly. The reality is that all of you sleeping with one another are ashawos and it no sense encouraging men to sleep with as many women as possible and pretending to hate the fact that women are fornicating.

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Upholds Deregistration Of 74 Political Parties by WoundedLamb: 2:17pm On May 07, 2021
I think they should make the policies very clear and public such that anyone aiming at creating a political party would know from day one what is expected. This idea of allowing registration and then deregistering afterwards might just give the wrong impression. I know there'll always be exceptions and laws can and will always be interpreted in many ways, but it doesn't help that Nigeria is still using a constitution with so many loopholes like ambiguous statements, open ended statements, lack of detailed provisions, etc.

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone! Happy Password Day. Please, stay secured!

Even if she is not adding yet. Cos majority of our ladies get married as students,in youth service or job hunting. Her state of finance as that time doesn't matter as long as she is not stagnant but she has every right to know where their resources is going to.

It's a serviced apartment, so there's no landlord. Maybe I'll mention I've been talking to the real estate guys. But the problem is that she may not even believe. She may think I'm just trying to convince her otherwise, because after my brother told her that he is no longer paying, she still doesn't believe him.
She didn't complain to you, so it's not your duty to tell her anything. She complains to her husband, let him manage his wife. Like you said, it's probably your ego driving you. You just want her to know you're the boss of your own... even though you aren't working. I don't even understand that part. Lol.

I would advise that you give her a wide berth afterwards. She clearly doesn't want good things for you. Does she expect that you should be thrown out and become homeless?
Really, if OP is not working and his brother is paying a reasonable amount of money just for him to live in a big house he doesn't even need, then I see a reason why a finance caution woman would want an adjustment. This is especially if she pools resources with her husband to run the home. Saving money for their young family is way more important than keeping OP in a big house (as he described it). Many of us want wives that will help us manage our expenses better but we're not happy if our brothers get such. Lol

The bishop hand is tied. U think was the bishop that talked. Do u know how much mbaka gives him in millions. The bishop sold his conscience a long time ago. Under normal circumstances mbaka should be suspended indefinitely.
So now the bishop eyes open. He never saw the chaos mbaka caused in Imo or his vision of Buhari winning.
Abeg mbaka and the bishop should park and go
Catholic church is now more corrupt than the Nigerian govt.
Lol... I don't understand, are you forcefully tied to the church ?

Why won't I make calls in a month even if it's that day
I get you. But with Whatsapp for social chats and Microsoft Teams for office stuff, some of us hardly ever make charged calls. Banks, police, government offices, hospitals, etc. are toll free and most people don't like unplanned calls.
PhonesRe: Nigerians Outside Nigeria, What's The Cost Of Data In Your Resident Country? by WoundedLamb: 6:14pm On May 05, 2021
thebosstrevor1:
Unlimited does not mean unlimited, unlimited does not exist because of network overload.

Every unlimited has a threshold, once you pass it, the speed reduces.

The threshold could be 1tb, 500gb, 100gb.
You need to be in télécommunications to understand their register. The data is unlimited simply cause it does not have a hard cap. This means you'll never run out of data while you're still within your validity period. The download speed is reduced when you pass the soft cap but you'd still be using the data nevertheless even if you passed the soft cap on the first day of the month (thus unlimited data). This change in speed is hardly even noticed by most users. Speed and data availability are treated as two different concepts cause whether limited or unlimited, speed is always scaled out here (i.e sold at different prices) and that will not be possible if they are muddled up. So you can argue that there's no unlimited speed but linguistically, it's very much correct to say there's unlimited data. That contrasts with plans where data is quantified instead of speed.

I agree with you sir. I specifically said Nigeria cause of the gender dichotomy over there and also to bring the point home to the person I quoted.
