Family › Re: My Aunt's Husband Accused Their Neighbour Of Fathering Their Son by frozen70(f): 10:19pm On Jul 29, 2019 |
rosalieene: Your Opinion Is Needed Please Help
My aunt(mum's last sibling) has been having issues with her husband since she got married. She has two kids, a girl(2 yrs old) and a boy(1 yr old). The girl looks like her husband, the boy looks like her husband's brother.
Apart from the other issues they have been having, there is a particular issue that tore them apart. When the boy was born, the husband has been accusing her of sleeping with a man who stays in the same house with them (a room was leased to him), he said the man is the real father of the son.
My aunt asked for a DNA test to be ran but then he shouted and was saying will she provide the money for the test. Least I forget, my aunt isn't doing anything since she got married to him. He didn't want her to work but to depend on him. Most times he doesn't give her money for feeding and upkeep..she usually run to my uncles(her brothers) they give her money. It was also because of him my granny died( she developed high bp when she came for omugwo because of the way she was treated, everyday she comes to my house and my mum gives her food).
Due to the accusations and other issues, last month instead of a DNA test, the hubby ran a genotype and blood group test and his matched with the little baby's own. later on, the man kept on insisting that the little boy is not his son as he calls him "Dada" instead of "daddy".
This time around he started accusing my aunt of sleeping with his brother and an Uncle of his. He even beats the children at any slight provocation.
On wednesday around midnight, 2:30am to be precise according to her, he came to her room and started dragging her, beating her up, strangling her, threatening to kill her even said he doesn't mind going to jail if he kills her. He was beating her and asking who was the father of the boy. He seized her phone too. Her eyes were swollen plus other injuries on her body. The next day when my uncles got to know what happened, they sent my sis to go help her pack up her stuffs and since then my aunt and her kids had been in my house. My uncles were looking for good divorce lawyers as my aunt has made up her mind not to go back to the hubby because she might die in his hands.
Last night the husband came to my house pleading, kneeling down, begging and crying. he refused to go home even till 10pm. he said he wanted his wife and kids back. he kept pleading for a second chance and kept saying he doesn't want to marry another wife... but my dad insisted he leaves the house. he was even denied access to his kids.I felt pity for the man.
Now, do you think he deserves a second chance? do you think he was really remorseful? or do you think she should go on with the divorce case? she is really at cross roads now and confused. Me for one, I don't support divorce but I don't expect someone to keep tolerating domestic violence and loose her life. Do you think she would remarry after the divorce? she had operation during the birth of her kids so she is not really in good shape so do you think any man will look at her? I am also confused on her behalf. Situations like this, the first step us separation Her husband is frustrated and unfortunately his wife is the recepient of his wickedness His child calling him dada is because he is too small to pronounce the proper name He claims that, the boy us nor his child, instead of doing DNA test, he went for genotype, what's the corollation with genotype Just to show you that he is not really normal upstairs but he is not mad too Forget about his pleading, your sister just escaped death |

And I suddenly got a letter of demand from the loan which I knew nothing about (N852,000).
The sad part is the he never informed me about the happenings around the loan till I got the letter of demand and I had to start asking him about it.
Kindly advise on how I should go about this legally.

Anas09: Prov. 14:1. A Wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman pulls it down with her own hands.
This morning i asked the Holy Spirit to teach me to build my home, this is what he taught me.
Qualities of a Wise woman.
1). A Wise woman defines herself: As the man's helper.
2). A Wise woman defines her Status and place as under a man.
3). A Wise woman defines Marriage and her place in it, She recognises that she did not institude marriage, God did. So she obeys God by obeying her man.
4). A Wise woman recognises that Marriage has rules and those rules are binding on her.
5). A Wise woman remembers that it is the man who moved to her home to bring her to his, not her.
6). A Wise woman recognises that its her who takes up his family as hers, his name as hers his siblings as hers, his tribe, nationality and even race as hers, not him.
7). A Wise woman Submits to her Husband irreapective of... The Bible says to marry only in the Lord, but if you disobey this injunction and marries outside of the Lord, whatever you find with and in the man, you live with it.
. A Wise woman should not be hash, for she knows that soft words turns away wrath, but grevious words stirs up anger.
9). A Wise woman should not be hard; She knows that the battle is not for the strong. She should not be Pressing, but, Gentle, humble, kind, meek and lowly.
10). A Wise woman knows that the man is naturally egotistic, she watches not to bruise it.
11). A Wise woman does not discuss her husband/marriage with her friends and family.
12). She does not compare her husband with other men she had known.
13). A Wise woman does not talk back when her husband is upset and is talking.

15). A Wise woman knows that Wisdom is mightier than the weapons of War. And ruling her husband is not by power.
16). She knows that if ahe does all the above, Her husbands ATM pin, bank accounts, his heart, and everything will be under her Control. Outsiders will see her as Mumu, but inside, she is the Puppeteer, while the man is the Puppet
BUT.... THE FOOLISH WOMAN IS A FEMINIST. *takes cover* This is how the olden days men made law and traditions to suit their stupid and selfish interests Anyone that believes these trash will remain depressed in marriage |

Cutebabiesmum: We are just 3 in my family (which is 2 boys and a girl) though the last born died last year. Now it remain only me and my brother and he's 29yrs. Since he's the only son we've been disturbing him to get marry, recently he brought a girl to my house and this girl look so sick though she told me she has been taking treatment because she have hepatitis B. I called my brother and told to leave the girl alone because hepatitis B is very deadly and I don't want anything to happen to him, he told me thats the person he want to marry and no one can stop it. I have read so many stories about hepatitis B that it is incurable and very dangerous. My brother won't just listen. Please advise me on what to do. I don't want to loose my brother. Don't mind my grammatical errors please
For everyone telling me to leave my only brother and sibling alone to make his decision, you people don't know what it means to have only one son in Igbo land. This is the only person that can inherit everything my father owns but God forbid anything happen to him, my wicked uncle and children will take over everything thing. So please stop telling me to leave my only sibling alone Have you told your parents about it❓ Have you told your priest about it❓ Have you told his most trusted friend about ❓ Do that and leave the rest for God to decide |

Family › Re: Is It Okay For My Mum To Send Money And Food To My Married Sister ?? by frozen70(f): 3:52pm On Jul 29, 2019 |
Techfave: Hello guys, please I need enlightenment on this
My sister got married Last Year, she was pregnant already when she married, the man she married is over 40 years old, my sister got her husband through a religion organization, when the leader of the organization insisted that she must marry that man..
Now my concerns about is that this man she got married too is not financially okay, My mum always send money to my sister..
When my sister was about to give birth my mum finance nearly all the hospital Bill, the funniest thing is that my mum also borrowed the money somewhere..
My question is that,
Is is okay for my mum to send money to my sister after she is married??
Is it okay for the leader of a religion organization to dictate to my sister to marry this man??
Please I need enlightenment on this issues You did not state the age of your sister as you did for her husband Your sister is not a kid to be dectated on who to marry Hence the both of them are working, they should manage themselves Is time she stop at birth 2/3 because mom won't be there for her alone As for your mother, she is just being sympathetic and she might ruin her financial strength in them and on one will assist her She should focus on thowr children or else the rest of you might gang up against your sister You too work hard as a man to avoid issues like this What parents wants is marriage, they don't care if there will be food or not And for your information, tell your sister to buckle up over those kids because I don't see that man standing the challenges of school fees In somany homes, the married women ante single parents while living with the man Tomorrow, if the woman messes up one stupid tradition will be used against her |

People go mix 100 headpans of sand, 50 headpans of gravels and 2 bags of dangote cement as concrete.
Isn't it time govt set up a body monitoring private buildings under construction?
And where such buildings or constructions fail due to poor quality materials, such body becomes partly liable? This house was built even before your birth, it's old naw, so it has nothing to do with cement ratio mixture |

ogbiwa: Hello guys.
My friend had 3 big alsatian dogs. Unfortunately 2 of them died due to illness. But the third one that survived has not been the same since losing it's other 2 friends cos he witnessed their deaths in the cage. Doctors say it could have affected him mentally.
Honestly this once fierce guard dog has become a shadow of it's former self. It just sits around the house all day moping and doing nothing. It never barks anymore. A total stranger can come into the compound without any fear even though we don't cage him anymore. The most shocking part is that the stranger can shout at him and he'll RUN AWAY inside his own compound.
It grieves me to see him like this. Is there anything we can do for him now? Cos basically we're just taking care of him now as an aged friend.
That's him in the compound Yes they do, that's why you see dog's once their favourite person comes back, they jubilate and shake their tails Pls get a female dog of child bearing age for it He needs companion |

All1Gists: A 19-year-old suspected cultist, Ayo Afiolorunsho, has asked his parents and family members to forgive him for bringing their names into disrepute. The suspect, who urged youths to shun crime, was arrested at the weekend by a team of policemen from Oworoshoki Police Division, led by a Superintendent of Police (SP), Nkereuwem Joshua.
A police source said: “The suspect was picked up at Oworoshoki area of the Third Mainland Bridge, as his group was planning a deadly attack on rival Eiye cult group. “The suspect confessed that they went to Oworonsoki, after leaving a meeting at Obalende. He said that they were supposed to have another meeting at Oworoshoki, when police appeared and arrested them all.” The cultists, on sighting the police team, took to their heels. However, Afiolorunsho was arrested, in possession of a sword, which he said was for self-defence.
The suspect, who is a ‘vulcanizer,’ said he was initiated into the Aiye cult group in Ikorodu area of the state by other members of the cult who kept threatening him for refusing to become their member. He said: “There is nothing to gain from cultism. I regret being a member of Aiye. Those that forced me to join cultism made so many promises to me, but all were lies. “Since the police arrested me, not one member of the group under any guise has visited me. I am left to my fate.
My parents are ashamed of me. I plead with youths to shun cultism. If I should regain my freedom, I would relocate to my village immediately and practice my trade. I have ruined my future with the group that I joined. I’m finished. My future is gone! I don’t know if I will ever leave the police custody.”

The men have started responding by doing for women and he saying that it's only foolish men does that.
