When are we going to start respecting human lifes in Nigeria?
Bad roads
Faulty vehicle
Untrained drivers
Lack of bad driving enforcement
Overspeeding
All these factors are ingredients of road accidents, you can have them and expect accidents not to happen

I'm not trying to castigate any tradition or culture as I believe every tribe in Africa has one or more tradition that needs to be eradicated. However, I think there are some traditions in Igboland especially those that has to do with women, inheritance and lands that need to be modified or eradicated.

Education / Re: BSU Ex-student, Angela Ochai Dies Few Days After Graduation (PIC) by slurryeye: 12:17am On Mar 03, 2017
Why is autopsy not conducted on dead in Nigeria?

Before we start saying hands of village people, or if she had prayed nothing will happen, why can't we find out what caused her death through autopsy?

The fact that she vomited and stooled to death implies she had severe diarrhea which can be biologically induced through presence of pathogenic microorganisms in her system or chemically induced through poison. Autopsy will confirm her cause of death, and if any foul play is suspected, investigation can be done to bring the people responsible to justice.
We should stop having 15th century mentality in 2017 abeg. Everything is not spiritual

Osinbanjo has people engagement skills and flexbility that is good for present Nigerian democracy. That doesn't mean Buhari is a bad leader, however, he needs to be more flexible, this is not military rule.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Blames South African Government For Xenophobic Attacks by slurryeye: 11:09pm On Mar 01, 2017
Ironi:

Oh yes, Nigerians went after Ghanaians and killed them during Ghana must Go.

Do you remember "Scatter"?

Nigerians would invade the living places of Ghanaians and scatter them, burning their belongings and looting and killing them.

Oh yes, we remember, Nigerians are very capable of worse.

Many Ghanaians died by the hands of Nigerians so though I don't condone the behaviour of these stupid South Africans it sometimes annoy me to hear Nigerians come here and scream Xenophobia when in fact they are not any different from these South Africans.

Can you shed more light on this "Scatter". You are the first and the only person that I have ever heard from that Nigerians kill Ghanaians during the Ghana must go expulsion. Though I was too young to have a clue of what transpired then, but from what I have read and first hand account of the period, no one ever said there was Xenophobia against Ghanaians. As a matter of fact, I had Ghanaians as classmates in my secondary school, and we argued about things including the Ghana must go expulsion, and none of them ever claim that they heard or their parents told them that Nigerians committed Xenophobia against Ghanaians
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Nigerians were all nice to Ghanaians during that period, all what I'm saying is that Nigerians didn't go after Ghanaians and kill them the way South Africans are doing to other citizens now. Could there have been some Nigerians that looted and vengefully attacked Ghanaians that offended them? Possibly but xenophobia I doubt. Just like no Nigerian can claim that Ghana committed Xenophobia against them when Kofi Abrefa Busia mass deported half a million Nigerians in 1971

But I won't blame them for been Xenophobic

We all seem to forget too quick
That Nigeria started this first...

During the time of GHANA MUST GO

The treatment given to our Ghanaian brothers then was totally inhumane
Now they fixed-ing up their country, and my fellow Nigerians are running off to Ghana now

The best we can do now... Is to come back home and develop our country
In few years South Africans will beg for Nigerian Visa

Did Nigerians go after Ghanaians and kill them during that period? These South Africans have so much hate in their hearts, and their brains have corroded from Apartheid they were subjected to

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Blames South African Government For Xenophobic Attacks by slurryeye: 8:33pm On Mar 01, 2017
I have been seeing this recent Xenophobic attacks on foreigners by black South Africans, and I will advise my Nigerian brothers and sisters in South Africa to go back home or relocate to another country. Forget about your assets in the country, your life is more valuable than any business or property you have there. From my observation of the events, it is very glaring that black south Africans have gigantic hatred towards Nigerians and other nationals. In support of what obj said, I think the inaction of south african government against these xenophobists speaks volume. How could a government do nothing to the bastards killing innocent foreigners because they think they are drug dealers and they are taking their jobs? Shame on Jacob Zuma government for allowing these xenophobic attacks to continue. I remember when Nigeria was in economic recession during Shagari tenure, and the government had conference to expel illegal immigrants, no Nigerian attacked or killed any of the illegal immigrants, though we taunted them with the popular Ghana must go, nothing more than that. Now Nigeria is in recession again, we are not blaming any foreigner for our economic situation.
People keep saying, foreigners should respect their laws, but the question remains that if there are immigrants disobeying the laws of the land, does that give some citizens the right to put justice into their hands and kill them if not that South Africa is such a shameless and lawless country.
Some people give excuse that those attacking are illiterate black south Africans, my question to that is why is the voices of educated black South Africans and white South Africans silent on this issue? South Africa is such a useless country.
On this reoccurring xenophobic attacks, I'm not only going to blame uneducated black South Africans and South African government, I also blame the educated ones among them for their silence on the issue as well as African leaders and Africa Union. All these useless African leaders are going about their business and none of them is saying anything against this as if it is a normal thing the way their citizens are being killed on the street of South Africa like chickens. And what is stopping stupid Africa Union to have placed sanctions on South Africa by now? Is it until all the immigrants in that country are killed? Smh for the continent of Africa

Car Talk / Re: Why Nigerians Are Not Buying Innoson Cars by slurryeye: 8:14pm On Mar 01, 2017
Originalsly:
Hundai is becoming a big player in the auto market wayyy more because of imitation rather than being distinct. If a guy has money to buy Prado. .. it doesn't matter what Innoson makes... imitation or distinct.....he will buy Prado.
@topic.... agree with most of the points..... advertising and promotion of the brand is lacking ... but even more harmful is allowing the established brands to compete....that's a local industry killer.

And you think Hyundai a company founded in 1967 and dominantly control the market in its country of origin is a small player in the auto market? And who tells you Hyundai imitates design?

Car Talk / Re: Why Nigerians Are Not Buying Innoson Cars by slurryeye: 7:20pm On Mar 01, 2017
Op I agree with you, especially the 5th reason.
Innoson needs to design cars distinct from designs of known brands. Why would someone buy an Innoson SUV that looks exactly like Toyota Prado when he has money to buy Prado
Also, they need to connect with local market, produce vehicles that can withstand local terrains, do advertisement showing their cars plying muddy roads and entering potholes but still working perfectly well. Show images of their cars on terrain Nigerians could relate and not some snowy mountainous landscape like the picture attached by the OP
Lastly, collaborate with Nigerian government on the campaign of buying local products. Because if Nigerians start buying Aba made shoes instead of Italian shoes, sooner or later, they will start buying Nigerian made cars
