I went to a pharmacy today and asked them to check my BP.

The pharmacist did it the first time, she looked at me and said she wants to do again. Then after the second time, she looked at me again and said she needs to do it a third time.

After the third one, she asked if I was ok. I said yes. She now said the first time she did it, it was low, that was why she did again and again but that the second and third times are slightly low but nothing to worry about. She then advised me to take Glucose D to up my sugar levels or coca cola.

I seriously don't understand how my dad is always broke. He's been paid pension monthly oo which is equivalent to the chunk salary he got while working.
He's not training anyone, he's not the one providing money for food in the house.

I have tried to investigate what happens and I found out that he keeps a lot of friends and spend those money on his friends buying drinks and living large. Well, I don't pity him again. If he likes he should always be broke that's his business.

Have you tried ti find out how much he gets as salary because there is no way it will be equivalent to what he earns as salary

Secondly, can't you guys seat him down and talk to him if he is actually spending it outside

At this his retirement age, he should be managing his money and not wasting it on people

I live in a room and palor self contain and the house is build in a way that the other room and palor is built together with mine, that is if I say anything in my palor or room the will hear! My neighbour is a single like me , but he is giving me big nightmare. Every night he brings different girls home, and when I'm preparing to sleep that is when they start having sex, this girl will moan loudly that even if I cover my ears with my hand I can still hear it, not even that alone the knacking sound is so irritating to me, sometimes to avoid me lusting in my mind I try praying, but it won't work cause my system is not in that prayer, guys to the extent that when I sleep I dream of them having sex, many times at night.

I am in a dilemma, and I will love your opinion about it.

I am a young man in my mid 20's, living alone in Lagos, I won't say I am well to do, but I am doing very okay for an average Nigerian bachelor of my age. Here goes my problem.

I am in a 3 years old relationship with a 22 year old lady, we have known each other for about 4 years and began dating after a year of being friends, she was very decent and respectful at first, we vibed well and we Kickstarted a relationship, we were in a no sex relationship due to her principles and for about a year, we never had sex, she was my friend and we could chat for hours and not get tired, we gave each other access to our phones, she had my finger print on hers and hers on mine, it was a beautiful relationship and I sincerely wanted to settle down with her, but I noticed she was the extremely jealous type.

a year into the relationship, she got admitted to school and that was where our problems started. Prior, she lived not very far away from me on the island, so we saw each other often, but now, she moved to the mainland which is very far away from me, to top the whole matter, I gave her money to rent a room as I didn't want her to stay in the hostel, but to my shock, she brought in her cousin sister to stay with her, it was just a Normal room, so there was no privacy, my initial idea was that I could go over to spend a few days with her instead of her coming over to my place every time, but it failed, I was against the idea of her sister staying but she pleaded and I let it go, now, she is the only one who comes to visit, and it doesn't happen often, maybe once a month or something. I was lonely and bored most times as I work from home and sometimes needed someone to just chat with.

One day, I stumbled across the number of an old female friend and we began chatting, we vibed really well and she asked me if I had a girlfriend which I denied, note that we never met with the lady, we only chat. After some days, my gf came over and as I slept, she took my phone and opened it and read my chat with that lady, I woke up in the night to see her crying, I asked her why and she showed me the chat, I apologized very much and regretted every thing, she said she forgave me and left the next morning, after she got back to her place, she sent a text saying that she is out of the relationship, I was confused, I begged her but she refused, so I let her be.

Before the whole incident, she registered as a nurse at a hospital close to her place. There was this particular patient that was ill, and she and a colleague always go over to his place to inject him, she told me he always gives them little 1-3k each time they go so she always looks forward to it, I warned her about it but she said it was nothing.

Fastforward, after the whole text message and breakup thing, I left her alone and wanted to move on with my life, that was when she came back after over a month and was trying to take me back, and because I loved her, my arms were open. We spoke about a lot of things that happened during our break and one of the things she told me was that she was raped once, and that night, I was feeling very bad and decided to call her, after I did, she picked up and said she was gonna call me back, but according to her, the rapist was attracted to the light on her phone and he came and put a knife behind her while wrapping his arms around her, and that was how she surrendered. I was devastated cos I told her never to keep late nights around school, but she said due to the breakup, she started having some type of friends and started going to night parties and she was on the way to one of the parties when it happened. I was sad for days but I forgave her, after all, it was just once and it wasn't like I was a virgin or she was.

She also told me she almost started a relationship with a man, but promised to break off anything they were about having, we made love that night and it was beautiful, it was like nothing ever happened. That night, a number gave her 16 missed calls, I was surprised as to how someone will call 16 times so I picked up the number from her phone, and installed a tracker on her phone. I am very trxg savy, so after I did, I could see virtually everything on her phone, from all texts, to whatsapp chats, Facebook, telegram, everything, even her phone conversations and live screen.

In the morning, I allowed her go and didn't talk about the number calling. About an hour after she left, I saw a text message she sent to the same number apologizing for not picking up and calling the person baby and all, she sent several messages apologizing, so I let her reach home, then I called her mum and asked her to please be calm with whatever decision I was going to make, I called my gf and asked her who the name on that phone was, she was quiet at first, I asked again and she said he was a friend, and I asked what is her relationship with him, she said it's nothing and wanted to start making trouble out of it, so I just told her I was going to send her the exact text she sent to her baby today and that is the end of us, after I did, I ended the relationship. It was a long day that day, her whole family was calling me, I also called the guy too and asked him if he knew her and he opened up, he said she was his girlfriend and they have been dating for almost 4 months now and all, he said a lot of things about her, both true and lie, I found out they had been traveling round together, she has been driving his car to school, etc, but one thing that never happened was penetrative sex, they had MouthAction tho. I wasn't willing to accept all the family's apology, her mum was basically crying on phone and begging, so I accepted but was careful with her from then.

She later told me that it was the same patient I warned her about, that he was the one she started a relationship with and she did it because i denied having a girlfriend.

After the whole incident, our relationship never remained the same, we had a lot of fights and many times, this lady will actually charge at me, I have never hit her before and I never wanted to, it was beautiful but not as it used to be.

Fastforward almost a year later, I met another lady and didn't want anything more than being just friends, I even wanted to introduce her to my gf, but along the line, we vibed very well and I decided against the idea, I found out we had a lot of things in common with this new lady, she was not the prettiest, but she was very pretty as well, her body was very curvy, she was vulptious and tall, she had the perfect size of everything and was pretty, but not as pretty as my main gf as my main gf was Caucasian, her dad is from Spain. Along the line, we started falling for each other and as it happened, her bf broke up with her just around that time, I was there for her and before we knew it, a relationship started. Due to the development, I had to password protect my phone and was more careful with it. Her bf came back begging and I thought she was going to accept but to my shock, this lady was very honest, she even blocked the guy who they have been together 2 years with. I started a relationship with her while still having my old relationship thinking when she goes back to her bf, I won't be on the loosing side, but I was wrong, she was the most honest being I have ever met. This girl gave me real peace of mind, she knew how to handle situations, she doesn't nag, she was very witty and playful, there was basically no dull moment with her, I fell helplessly for her, I knew I needed to let one go for the other but I didn't know which to pick from.


My main gf is a full time nag, she is also violent, just recently, after she found out I called a lady, she tried forcefully taking my phone but I overpowered her, she somehow took the lady's number and called her, I took the phone from her and ended the call, and she punched me in the face, making me bleed, and hit me again, so I seized her phone and she charged toward me again, I just pushed her on the bed, yet she didn't rest, she charged again, I didn't know when I gave her a dirty slap which instantly calmed her down and made her bleed. I have never hit her before despite the many confrontations, I felt bad and apologized for it. We agreed to give ourselves a break to think about everything, and I want to make it right this time but I just don't know who to go with, my gf is hardworking but a nag and violent, she also demands more, the other lady is peaceful and never nags, she is curvy and mature, she has never asked me for 1 naira, everything I gave her, I did it from my heart, willingly . I love them both, I am just confused.

Just settle with your new current girl friend and leave the other girl friend

At first I thought it was a joke when a neighbor told me my girlfriend came around last month while I was away in another vicinity.. I am in my early 30’s. I am married and have been so married for 5 years now but I look very young like a single dude. Going back in time, it was the year 2017 during my youth service. I met this girl in my place of primary assignment. I got attracted to her and approached her for a date but she refused and maintained we could be good friends. She said I was not ready or rich enough to marry her. But as time went by, before the end of my service, I fell in love with her and she quite liked me but was dating another guy. Gradually, we started staying together as if we were dating. I was always with her, told her stories, sings for her while she cooks and assisted her in the kitchen. She could not resist my kindness, gentle disposition and above all my innocently handsome looks. She confessed that I am a husband material and wished I was rich enough to marry her. But poor me, I was a youth corper with only 20k salary and 19k allawee. In one of my romantic fits, I declared that in no distant time, I will marry her and I prayed about it. I never knew she was in love with another man. Fast forward till towards the ending of youth service, I made love with her and after passing out parade, she broke the news that she is pregnant for me. I had no job then but that evening I proposed to her without ring ( I had no money to buy ring). She was afraid because she does not want to disgrace her family by giving birth outside wedlock and so she agreed to marry me but we did not have enough money. Even with her own money combined, we cannot do a Traditional wedding and pay our house rent. I broke the news to my dad and knelt down and begged him in tears to support us so that we could successfully get married and settle down. Luckily for me My dad agreed and said that the baby in her womb is his blood and he cannot abandon it in another mans land. That I will marry her and she will give birth to his grandchild. He made some calls and sold one of his lands, divided the money in half and gave me to do a befitting wedding and settle down. I met the family of the girl who at that time did know about the pregnancy and with a bottle of Champagne told them I came to ask for their daughters hand in marriage. The mum accepted me but the dad had reservations as to whether I was buoyant enough to take care of his lovely daughter. But he finally made a remark “ he who do not have today, will have tomorrow” and gave us his blessing. I took her out and we professed love for each other. In the course of the wedding preparation, she lost the baby. After the baby was gone, we assured each other we will go ahead with the wedding because we love each other not because she was pregnant.
The wedding was a success and we relocated and started life in another state. It was hard for us initially but I got a job and things became fine.

Along the line she became pregnant again and gave birth to my son. After some time my salary was no longer enough for us. This was how insults found its way into the marriage. she insults and disrespect me at the slightest provocation. She calls me a failure whenever I cannot afford some things we need in the house. At a point my son’s school threatened to send them away from school in 2 days time if I don’t pay their fees. As a result my wife mounted so much pressure on me to look for money but I could find none. I pleaded with her that I was expecting some money in two week’s time from a deal I did but she gave me the insult of my life that day. Because of this I went and borrowed money from someone I was not supposed to meet for money. The insults continued and the disrespect persisted. At any slightest mistake I make in the house, she will rain down insults and threats on me. At one point she threatened to kill me if I cheated on her. As a result of the insults, I lost the love I had for her. The house became a hell to me. I lost my phone and could not buy another phone. I resorted to borrowing people’s phone to use their watsapp to do business calls. Sometimes, my wife refuses to give me her phone to use to speak to some clients. It became obvious, am no longer happy. Even my children started noticing it. The way she forments quarrels over trivial issues in the house and uses words that breaks my heart. At a point, I resumed smoking and drinking inorder to find peace and happiness at least whenever I am high. It was not enough, I started looking for alternative to my happiness. Maybe if I carry another woman it will balance the equation. I would be able to get the joy I never had in the house and be able to bear insults from my wife because another person is giving me joy outside. On a fateful day, I met this girl in a taxi I entered to work. Beautiful, attractive and courteous. She liked me at first meeting and we exchanged contacts. First I was not serious with her until when the sadness in my home continued, I started going after her to get the happiness, I am missing in the house. From meetings with her, I found her very respectful, lively and playful. One could forget all his cares in a moment with her. She is industrious and always expresses her dreams and how she believe she will attain same. I invited her to have dinner date with me after office hour on a fateful day and she complied. During the dinner, I told her about myself and she told me about herself. I told her that all I need is happiness because I am sad and empty. She did not know I am married and she wondered why I said that. She was already waiting for me to ask her to date me so that she will quickly say yes. Because I love to be truthful in all things, I told her I am married but that I am not happy. I was surprised when she told me she liked me and would like to date me despite that fact. She told me she has a boyfriend but he is unserious. Both of us within a short time blended in such a way that we talk, play and act like siblings. It was as if we had been friends before. Although I meet her clandestinely, my love for her grew. I started planning her future with her. Each time we talk we look at each other passionately in the eyes and she said she wished we had met before I got married. The funny aspect of it is that I have come to love her so much that all I need from her is her presence and attention and I have no desire whatsoever to have sex with her. I am not just attracted to her sexually. Each time I see her I smile profusely and she too smiles profusely and we play like little children. We always wished there were no obstacles like my marriage. Because of her, my happiness came back. I was no longer sad and at home my wife noticed my new countenance and that I am no longer interested and started Changing. Above all, the money I was expecting came, for now I am okay. She easily got whatever she asked for in the house and currently she has completely changed (not sure if she is pretending or not). Currently I am happy. Currently the beautiful innocent girl I met is in a dilemma because she does not know my fate with her. I kept wishing i married her. She keeps wishing I were not married. I showed her my children’s pictures and she loved them and asked me about them always.

Sorry for the long story but I am in a dilemma. Please I need your advice, I now love her more than my wife. In fact I no longer love my wife, we just live strictly as legally married husband and wife and nothing more.
But I now love this girl so much that I am afraid of losing her because she is the one that gave me joy to be able to withstand the depression in my house. Now that peace has returned to my house what should I do. I don’t know whether my wife is pretending or she is fully changed. 1. RELIGION AND CONVICTION ; for religion i want some that believes in God and fear God. a good or fair Christian. not over religion, not a church goer, just normal regular christian, what i mostly interested in is your conviction, what do you truly believe in, take for example do believe in purposely hurting other people just to help yourself, cheating by all means, to have your way, what do you think about yahoo, good or bad?. those kind of things.

2.EMOTION : i think they is where am having much issues because one of my criteria is that i most like you. as in love you and i must be sure that you love me too. as much as i love you or even more than, but what i get to discover is that when i meet a girl i like, she doesn't like me or not as much as its required, that makes me too back down because i have seen relationship where the girl doesnt like the guy, maybe she just with him for some gains or something, it doesn't end well, and even if you go ahead with the relationship, you won't enjoy it, YOU ENDURE IT!. i have also had girls that likes me like mad, some practically worship me and will do exactly as i asked them to, but the truth of the matter is that it can't work, i know it cnt i have tried it before, the babe go dey annoy me even when she has done nothing wrong, i can't show her off and i dont believe its even a relationship, the last one i try i had to break everything off cos i notice it was affecting her. and i know it's going nowhere, ever since then i promised never to do that again. this was 3 years back. the thing wen a girl likes you and you like the girl, you but can build together and trust each other

3. PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTE i am also having a big issue with this one, the thing here is that, i want a tall or fairly tall girl, reason is that am not a very tall guy and i want someone complimentary. i can't marry a short girl, no matter how much she tick the rest boxes, it can't happen, i need some my height or a little bit taller than me, but the problem am having now is most girls like tall guy s. me finding a tall girl that likes me seems to be a mission impossible.


another thing is a fine girl, here am attracted to fine girls, i don't need to deceive anyone, that's what i want, but on the part she don't have to be over fine, just don't be ugly is fine, am a very fine dude facially so... we are good.

Even while seating down and your senior approaches, if you the junior one notice him first, you alert the seniors and the most senior among you will be the one to give official greetings while the rest stand still

So giving compliments, In form of official greetings is the meal you are expected to serve yoor seniors both day and night

It's a mark of respect and you may be call to order if yoor senior notices that you don't give compliments

Good evening Nairalanders, a friend of mine came to me for an advise.
My friend is in his late 30s,he has been in a relationship with his woman,they have been together for a period of 8 years,and they have 2 kids together.
This my friend has a younger brother,the younger brother told him that they should go and collect traditional marriage list from his woman family,so that traditional marriage can take place by December.
My friend worry is that,one,he is not financially capable to do traditional marriage rite as of now and secondly, he doesn't have a good paying job now. Another of his worry is that,he feels it shameful for his younger brother to sponsor his wedding,he is afraid won't he be insulted in the future by people,that he can't not pay his wife bride price,that it was somebody that married his wife for him. His brother told him not to worry about the financial responsibilities,that God will take control. My advice for him was that he should tell his brother to give him the money to go start
a business,maybe when the business balances,he can go and do the marriage rite. But his brother told him that the lady has tired for waiting for 8 years,that they should do the traditional marriage first,every other thing shall fall in place. This his brother have been supportive to him. Nairalanders please what's you take on this.

My wife recently put to bed our first child. While at the hospital, it's been my wife's godmother who travelled down from another state specifically to be with my wife. Infact, she came straight to the hospital and she has been the one sleeping there with her at night. While I stay with her by day. When am at the hospital to relieve her, she goes to our house to sleep.

My wife's mom and my mom (both live few streets away from ours) do come to the hospital during the day ... So fast forward to yesterday Sunday.

My mother-in-law told my wife she will come after church... Hours after church closed we still didn't see her. Only for her to show up with a big traveling bag. And she knew quite well that my wife's godmother put up at our house.

My house is a one bedroom apartment.

When she came, I asked my wife that now that her mom is here, how will all of us sleep in this house as my wife, our baby and the godmother will sleep in the room, while I stay in the sitting room. She became angry and said they will all stay in the room. But that if I don't want her mom to stay in the house, she will just tell her to go away.

So I told her that the proper thing to do is tell her mom to wait till Wednesday when the godmother lives, then she can come. Besides her house is only few streets away. She can be coming during the day and go back home.

So this night now, the mom has bathed and has gone to stay in the room. The godmother who's now feeling sleepy, had to stay in the living room as she can't go to the room bc her mom is there. Me on the other hand, can't sleep in the living room bc her godmother is in the sitting room.... So I sat at the veranda until 11pm. The cloth I had on was the one I wore since morning. I can't go to the room to change as the mom is there. Neither the living room bc the other woman is there.

My wife later came to me outside and was annoyed that I dont welcome her mother in my house.

Do you think I'm wrong to have told my wife to tell her to wait till Wednesday before she comes?

NB: my mother inlaw and I, live like mother and son until she came yesterday Sunday.

My question is, her God mother actually took the place of uoir wife mother, why

Goodevening all, please I need mature advise from the house, my wife left my house for over three months now with my little daughter,though I am still taking care of my little daughter by sending upkeep.

Now my limit daughter is on holiday and called that I should come and visit her, and I ask her to give her mum the phone where I told her mum to come back with my daughter at least for the holiday or send my daughter to her parents (my wifes parent) where i can easily get access to her too.
