I created this account to share this topic to share this important message with you all, pls pardon my errors while reading.

I'm someone who never appreciate my late father until he died, i use to see many here talking bad about their parents (especially their father) i even read a thread recently about such topic recently and with what just happened to me this night, i feel like putting the record straight for people to learn from my story.

My father had 4 wives when he was alive, infact bringing the second, third and fourth wife to the house against my mothers wish was a problem in the first place, our mother will always fight for his children to get something from my father for us, our mother also made sure that we see him as a bad man. I was the most vocal and his disrespectful child. He will always warn me and tell me how i will understand when i grow up but i paid little attention to his warning. It came to a point that whenever i needed money and he didn't provide, i will pick anything in the house and sell it at any price. My mother will always blame him for my bad behavior all that which made me feel secured. This happened right from my primary school to university level. To cut the story short, i really gave my father a tough time.

But in all this, my father loved me, he paid my school fees right from primary school up to university level, lately, the pressure become too much on him cos taking care of more than 12 children was not easy, this made him to drop down the ladder and become poor somehow, then it happened that i become so sick and nearly died, this man borrowed, borrowed and borrowed to pay my hospital bills till the other children started complaining, i stayed in the hospital for more than 7months and the bill was something else, infact, if not for some politicians, i wonder where he would have gotten the money to pay all the bills.

Meanwhile, i got married before 20, with 2 children, my father was responsible for them also, i again pregnanted another girl and had a baby with her, my dad was also responsible for this too.

When i come back from the hospital, there was nothing on me, i eventually drop out of school and pack home. It was at this point that i started appreciating my father's efforts, mum retired and pension was not coming, all eyes were on him to provide for everyone. There is nothing my father did not do get money, i become his closet friend at this critical stage, infact, other children started accusing him that he spent their heritage on me so i should be the one to take care of him. Lastly my dad went and marry another girl for me because my mother was getting older and there was nobody around to even cook for him. He started teaching me about life but death snatch him from me in February this year.

After the burial, my first wife brought back the children to me and traveled out of the village, the other girl also bring back the child cos she was getting married. My wife also had a baby. This means I'm to provide for four children and my wife. My mother has been helping but she is too old now to do anything. I turned to an online begger here too but nothing is coming from it.

My sure plug is farming, i normally go to the farm in the morning, come online in the afternoon and look for a giveaway on any platform, go back to the farm in the evening, come online again to see opportunities. Mind you, i will never scam someone here, neither am i doing any Yahoo but i use to beg like there is no tomorrow.

What makes me to write this is because, i caught my 13year daughter this night kissing a guy, i beat the hell out of her and you need to hear what this small girl told me, i know she is right and deep down, i know that i failed her. She told me in the face that she hate me but this is a girl I'm paying her school fees in jss1, she didn't even like farming but i use to suffer and give her food and whatever she wants but look at the shame, i don't know what to say or do but may God forgive me if i kill myself cos this life is not worth it.

I'm put this piece so that other people will learn from it, I'm not begging for and money here pls, i may even deactivate this account this night.

I got married less than a year ago and I am already regretting why I got married. I stumbled on my wife whatsapp chat yesterday and I realized my wife has been downloading everything going on in our marriage to her parents and siblings. There is absolutely no privacy whatsoever in my marriage. Any time we have challenges and disagreements at home, my wife takes her phone to narrate everything to her brothers, sisters and parents. Instead of them to correct her, they all make fun of the situation and use disrespectul words for me despite the fact that my wife is JOBLESS and i'm the one making provisions at home based on my capacity. I feel betrayed and naked coz my wife family has full information about EVERYTHING GOING ON IN MY HOME. To make matter worse, she sees her family as her confidant and tell them all her moves and plans while she keep everything as secret to me. I got to know all of this from her chats to her siblings and parents. Please I am confused right now, what is the next thing for me to do? Sincere and mature advice please �

I need an opinion on issues concerning my marriage.

I got married two years ago, although left to me i would never have gotten married but i had to as the only son of my parent.

I live separately from my wife(a house i built, while i live in a rented place) and although we live in the same state but i can't just seem to live or co-exist peacefully with any other person other than myself.

My wife has really been on my neck lately, she came to my house last week with our child and refused to go back after a week. I am tired and i just wish to be alone please.

I am not a deadbeat dad, i give her 100k every month for food and utilities.

I just want to be left alone, i don't hate her, infact i appreciate all she does but i just love doing things on my own. I'll love my family structure to be this way, i mean coming home to visit my kids(when i have more) and wife every two weeks.

Hello everyone,
I am in dire need of your honest advice. I am a fan of Nairaland but created this because of identity.
I am a medical student studying medicine in one of the public universities in Nigeria. When the ASUU strike newly started, I started looking for things to do and clients to work for. Fortunately, I got two clients who pay me about 200K per month since April. It varies; last month, I earned 199K, this month will be 220K+ if I work harder.
I have saved most of the money to write professional exams.
However, my school still conducts lectures through Zoom and we have not had rest since the strike started. We do have classes from 8am till 5pm except on some days. I am about three months back and our test is coming up soon.
Please do you advise I quite my 200k/per month and focus on my studies seeing that i have lots of materials to read and prepare for my test?
P.S: I have tried balancing but the freelance work is highly demanding. What do i do please?

THE GIST.

I have a residential neighbor. He is in his 40's while I am in my 30's. He lives upstairs, while I live downstairs. He is a banker, divorced with his first, now ex wife with two children and became single again for a long time. From our conversation, his first marriage failed due to immaturity from both side. It became very difficult for him to re-marry because he wanted a help mate. A career / business / market wise woman that will help and build his life.

He told me the problem he is facing today was as a result of his first marriage, and the ease in his life will be determine by his next marriage. He told me he will not settle for the less and I believed him.

He had a lot of conversation with me about his life, although I never told him about myself. I just gave him few advice and prayed for him not to make another bombshel of a mistake.

Someone recommend for him a very young girl which he seem to like. Paid her dowry - traditional marriage in a hurry and brought her home as married couple.

To him, he has caught a fresh young fish.

When this young woman came, he was so curious about me which I seem to understand. One day I told her not to worry if I don't give her attention or always converse with her the way she want. I made her understand I don't speak much in person unless it is very important. I did this just to put her at ease.

THE PROBLEM

The problem right now, my neighbor is having serious headache. I mean extreme headache because the girl he married is still behaving like a child.

He just realize that he has made another huge bombshell. When he first brought her home after the dowry, I myself was secretly concern because the girl was just too small and immature for him. I mean too young to be his daughter age mate.

Yesterday he was shouting and willing to lay hand on her or send her back home. He married her without courtship for the very wrong reasons below.

●He married her because she is young and innocent.
●He married her because he needed someone that will be under his total influence and control.
● He married her because of total submission from a woman.
●He married her because she has orange breast. We men like female breast too much . We just love to suck female breast and she has nice standing fan boobs.

Right now he is seeing the opposite and not the character he thought he paid for. Instead of character or fine personality, man foolishly lusted after tight vagina and hot breast.

I tried to communicate with the young babe, letting her know she need to be smart and acknowlege herself as now a married young woman. She is no longer in her parents house, but her own house.

Her response to me shows that, she is just a typical village girl who was convince into marriage by her parents. She blame her father.

I am secretly concern about her well being.

My only secret worrries right is that, her hubby should not lay hands on her, by slapping her. I don't like when a man beats a woman.

Good day ladies and gentlemen

I was employed as a security guard at a leather factory through a private security company 4months ago but this company never pays me as they said the factory owner did not pay them . But recently I learnt that the factory owner had been paying them.

I went to the office on Friday to confront them about the issue n also told them I will resign. They asked me to wait till today Monday so they'll forward my issue to their head office to get sorted out.

So I went to the office today, they told me I'll only get one month salary today till when they finally sorted it out then they'll pay me the remaining 3months at the same time.

I said, okay no problem. but the thing that pains me so much is that these heartless entities deducted 6k out of 10k salary n left me took home only 4k. They deducted Five thousand naira for uniform which were never given to us n one thousand naira for audio application form fee respectively.

I returned home dejected, despair n feeling defeated with so many things running on my head. It's really paining me right now feeling like to go n burn their office n kill them all or arrange to kidnap them.

Another thing that I discovered is that the factory owner pay my company 20k but they'll pay me 10k. but one thing that always motivated me is that the factory owner usually buys me food n drinks, sometimes even tips me 500 naira. So I feel like I was just saving my salary I'll cash out later whenever they paid me but it end up in tears, anger n gnashing of teeth.

Ladies and gentlemen I want your candid advice on how to go about this issue please. Should I go ahead and sue them to pay me my remaining salary or ask the factory owner to avoid the company n pays me directly since he
likes me?

A Yet To Be Identified Suspected vandal was electrocuted at Umuatuegwu in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.

From The Information Gathered By , The Deceased was electrocuted in the early hours of Sunday, July, 3, while vandalising Umuezerimpi 500KVA Distribution Substation, property of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC). 

The Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, who confirmed the incident in Enugu, said the deceased was not operating alone as other members of his gang took to their heels immediately he was electrocuted, leaving behind his lifeless body and their tools at the scene of the incident.

Ezeh noted that a formal report on the development has been lodged at the Okija Police Division, for detailed investigation.

The tools used by the electrocuted vandal and his fleeing colleagues were also recovered and his corpse deposited at the Okija General Hospital Mortuary, Learnt.

The incident is coming just few days after EEDC issued a report on four suspected vandals who were apprehended in its network for attacking its electrical installations.

"Just imagine how this young man has cut his life short over nothing. It is hoped that this will serve as a deterrent to others engaging in this dastardly act," Ezeh said. 

He went on to call on members of the public to be vigilant and on the lookout as it appears that vandals are on rampage, attacking EEDC installations and inconveniencing it's customers.

"Let's all join hands and ensure these very few people in our society that are bent on making life miserable for all of us are stopped." he appealed.

I am on the verge of making a decision, I need advice, my landlord is on my neck, as his rent for the last year running remains 50k, I have paid 100k, as the rent for a self-contain is 150k in my area in Owerri. My Bossom childhood friend was financially down and needed financial assistance because his landlord was suffocating him with his constant nagging. So he contacted me as his old guy and and told me the situation on ground and requested for financial assistance from me. I didn't hesitate in sending him the money which he summed up with the one he had and cleared his house rent.

So, this afternoon, his wife texted me, and in her text, she thanked me for the assistance and requested to pay me a visit and and help me with some of my chores since my wife is in Bayelsa. From the very moment I set my eyes on that text, I haven't been myself knowing fully well that one thing may lead to another during her visit/stay.

That my guy is so dear to me and we treat each other with utmost respect so for this reason, I wouldn't like to loose that respect and trust. This woman is anticipating my response, according to her.

I've been living in this compound for a year, then a new neighbor and his girlfriend packed in the other flat. They have been there for 3 months. Recently the girlfriend started coming into my house to watch the telemundo series on daily basis, as they are yet to get a tv. This has really been uncomfortable for me as i have to miss my favorite tv programs for her to watch her series. The boyfriend is not even bothered of her girlfriend being in the house of another single guy. Please how do I stop her from visiting without looking bad.
