My fingers tremble in trepidation as I type these words. I’m currently seated on my bathroom floor; my bruised back against the wall and long legs spread out. I’m wearing a black bra and denim shorts that have been partly soaked by the wet floor. I have no clothing underneath as my underwear was ripped in half in the lead up to my defilement. I’m giving this description so that in the event my corpse is found, you will know it’s me. Hopefully this won't be the case.

As my tired fingers dart across the letters on my keyboard, I cast repeated glances at the door handle in front of me; even the slightest hint of movement could send me into a frenzy. My ears are perked up like a Greyhound's, alert to any sound that may indicate a presence in the room.

My two phones were seized by my husband in his devilish attempt at preventing me from contacting my family or friends. Luckily for me, the monster I married didn't realize that a computer also posed a threat. After he had violated every inch of my body and had his fill, he left me in a bloodied mess, sprawled out on the bed, semi-unconscious, like I was merely an object for his satisfaction; to use as he pleased.

When I mustered up enough strength to leave the bed, I noticed my right leg was dislocated. No surprise. It was my main weapon in the furtile attempt to fight him off. With my laptop in hand, I managed to crawl my way into the bathroom, leaving a trail of blood and sweat behind.

I'll stop here now. I can hear footsteps approaching. I'll continue later, hopefully.

I had to create this new account. I can't sleep. I think I have committed a grave mistake, and it might cost me my life. I can't even type this with a straight face, I'm so ashamed and scared at the same time. Today was my girlfriend's mom burial. I love her so much, i really do, and the love was mutual.

I even introduced her to my mother, so did she. About two months ago, her mother died, and today was the burial. As a loving boyfriend, i decided I was going to be there by her side all day, because she needed me. Ever since her mother died, we've never had sex. So today while she was getting ready to attend the church mass (catholic), I kinda barge into her naked in her room (She just finished bathing) and was wearing a towel that was revealing her bust, and thigh.

I was full of lust, I leaned over and kissed her, and it led to a quickie, I won't call it sex, because it was a big mistake, and shouldn't have happened in the first place. It all happened so fast, and I have myself to blame. This night, I keep hallucinating about her dead mother. I keep seeing her face in every corner. I feel like she going to suffocate me to death while I'm sleeping. Right now, all the lights in my rooms are turned on.

Help me guys, it was a mistake, and its not intentional at all. How do I overcome this dilemma? Will her mother come after me?

I work in a commercial bank as a full-time employee. My gf used to live here in Ib where I live too. She has recently been posted to Lagos State for her Youth Service. Sometime ago, she's asked me to help her work on a reversal. A few days later, I checked her account to see if funds have been reversed but I saw an inflow of #8,000 from her ex. I confronted her about it and her excuse was she was stranded and she couldn't ask me cos we weren't talking at the moment. I let it go. A week after, I instinctively snooped through her account again and saw another inflow of #10,000 from the same ex. This time, I sarcastically asked if she was stranded again. Could this mean they are back? Should I just move on?. She has called me broke to my face a couple of times (I'm in some debt I'm trying to pay off and currently going through other quarter-life crises). We've been together well over two years and half and I love her a lot.

I'll appreciate your responses and advise.

I have a girlfriend and we have been together for 3 years now ,we've not had any big quarrels of fight and mind you I'm a gentle person,we love each other very much but she claims her love is more than mine ,let's get to the story .
I was sorting out my school assignment last week when I received a call from my girlfriend telling me that she wanted to see me urgently,I was very scared with the way she sounded and so i gave her directions to CBT center I was doing my assignment,when we finally got home ,she then told me to please forgive her that she sent her nude pics and a video to an unknown person and that the person is blackmailing her with the content to put it online,and that they are asking for a ransome and that if not they will put the contents online.
After much pleading I decided to forgive her but gave an instruction to delete all contact relating to the fraudster and that she shouldn't sent any money to them but to my greatest surprise she called me this morning to tell me that she just sent them the money and I'm very mad right now ,I'm not picking since that mmorning ,I feel like ending the relationship,please I need advice

In the vacation she met some of my friends..we sat down together friends things.. Some of my friends are still single.. On our way back.. She told me that one of my single friend face is familiar.. I asked her more about it and she said that she does not remeber what transpired between them both but she was certain that the guy once toasted her in school..(we all schooled in the same school)... Now what would you. Advice us? Because I am of the opinion that the past matters when confronted with it.. But she was like it does not matter..

Good morning guys. I found myself in a very unpleasant situation & I'm not sure I'll be able to come out fighting. My Fiancee had an emergency cataract surgery & I wasn't really buoyant since I just renewed our rent. I got a text from a certain CASHBUS app about a loan & out of curiosity downloaded to see their rates & all. Next thing I was credited without even requesting with ridiculous rates. #13000 to pay #20000 in 7 days. Funniest thing is I didn't get the money that day so I felt it was a scam or fluke. Only to wake up to text messages the next day that I had been credited 13k twice to pay back 40k all within 7days. How?? I've been at it with them but they planned it perfectly from the start. Its the new scam in town. Now they're at going for my jugular by defaming me completely. I'm a very private person but these people have been tarnishing my image so much that my contacts are beginning to actually distance themselves from me. I feel worthless & the fact that I have no one to help just makes me feel like ending it all. The embarrassment is too much. Please I need help. How can I stand up to them?

I have been friends with my male friend for over 11years now, so he is more like a brother to me! He got married 3yrs ago, But we live in the same district, I do visit them once in a while! And I usually bump into his wife at market places, malls or on the street due to the fact that we live in the same district.

My friend is hardly around for the past few Weeks due to the fact that he do travel for work. . .But recently I have been seeing his wife with a Man just about the age of my friend, I have seen them together at the mall for 3 times now for a period interval of 3 weeks, I usually dodge and escape myself so they won't see me! The last time I saw them together I took a sneak pictures of them, I don't know this man, I have never seen him when I visit them, he is not a family member! I have been curious so I feel I should call the attention of my friend to this and send him the pictures too!

Good morning nairalanders, I have known this girl from my secondary school days, she was my junior though are not dating then, even we don't do normal talking.
5 years ago we meet again, and we started talking, them issue of relationship came in, we started dating before finalizing the marriage rite last year, shortly after we had our first baby.
I have been doing everything to pleased this girl including going to market to buy foodstuffs, gave her little money to start a provision shop, though she has some money she saved during her NYSC days,she added everything together and open the shop.
To cut the story short, I have a betting shop and I'm also into poultry business, there was Newcastle outbreak in my farm, I lost all my chicken, so I used to borrow money from her sometimes and I paid back on Monday when I get my weekly commission as a betting agent.
I noticed she has been bossy over me since I'm broke, there was a day she sized my phone last week cos I couldn't pay the 25k I owe her, I paid her 16k out of it, I later have to tell her to take the half bag if rice we just bought the previous day so that she can sell and gu e me my phone, after few hours she later gave me the phone.
Fast forward to what happen, I finished eating almost 11pm yesterday, and I'm feeling dizzy and I told her to stand up and let me sleep in the chair, she shouted on me on top of her voice, I got angry and ask if she is alright, them I challenge her that I have been noticing she had wlbeen bossy, she is now the husband and I'm the wife, mind you, she has never help me with laundry since last year August, I have been washing all my clothes myself, including cooking, I do most of the cooking , etc
The issue got into a heat argument yesterday night, she started saying things that wasn't pleasing to hearing, she said "the debt I'm in is what will kill me" "I'm an unfortunate being" "all men are useless except his son" "that I will never be successful" etc

But she said something that made me stand up and beeged the neighbors to allow me sleep with them, she said "She will still stab me to death" or "she will poison me to death"

What measure can one use, especially when he lied and snik to go back wasting his money only to return back to appologies after all is gone?

How can a wife help her husband to make that decision of quitting? Is leaving him and moving out a good option? Especially, when the financial obligation is too much for only her to handle?

What major can stop him?

Note: the husband is well employed but gambles with everything consistently..
And has been into this habit before marriage.

Have been clubbing since I was 16 and now that am an adult it's getting worst..

Wednesday I club, Saturday you find me there... Sunday it's confirmed. This has really eaten my finances deeply being a night walker I can't just help myself.

I tried several times buying same drinks I buy in the club outside at a cheaper rate, vsop and the rest and keep them in my fridge just to keep me indoor during weekends like this.. No way! As soon as it gets dark the urge to go mingle around with different new faces, pick new figure 8 and probably get to meet new ballers in town always wins.

This is an habit I really want to let go, please clubbers how can I go about it?
