Yes, I have learnt to be calm with these children, just that their play is way too much, in an attempt to look after them to make sure he didn't get injured, I ended injuring him myself.... Anyway it's well. Even with the condition of the ear, he was still doing the same somersaulting with his siblings......

Boys are always rough at age's below 12yrs
From the age of 13yrs, they will stop gradually because they have exhausted most of it and are approaching teens age

Please, I am very angry with myself now. My Son did something wrong and angrily I slapped him in the ear/cheek in annoyance, that was about a week ago, just yesterday, we noticed dried blood in the ear, same thing this midnight also, though he is playing very well and does not complain of any pain in the said ear, but I am worried.

The effects of the slap must have been hard in the ear drum because they are made of extremely soft tissues, that's why the blood came out

Hello nairalander, I jus got married march this year, honestly am bored already .

The truth is am an only son so the whole pressure of getting married from my family made me got married although I love my wife she is beautiful, sexy and intellectual but I just miss the bachelor life.

I feel I entered marriage too early am just 29 although am well to do, with my own business and from a well to do home also... but am always feeling marriage is slowing me down business wise and exploring.

my parent, but right now they don't have, owing of workers salary in the local government for almost 4 months now.

As I type this, I'm currently sick and there so much anger and pain within, I haven't been able to eat or drink since I got the news from my neighbor who told me that my landlord came to the house with a strange face, broke the locks to my apartment and packed my things out, I sent a relative to confirm and she said everything is outside but he went with my TV set.
I called the landlord to ask what he has done, he blatantly lied telling me I sent my 'brother' to clear my things off the apartment that he has reported me to Police.
Yes, I owe him 8months rent and I've away for 13 months even before the last year rent I paid expired. I told him I'll be back by November and I'll pay once I get in.
Pls even though I owe him, it doesn't feel right stealing my property and throwing the rest in the rain

I earn 25k monthly,i use almost of it to buy food, and to fill my gas

Even if you are living in a free house and dinner is free, you can't make any savings with such amount

Even a new born or infants, they consume more than that salary a month

Seat your parents down with prove of your salary like alert let them know that this is what you earn per month, probably they don't know

That you are not finding it easy and you need their advice on how to start saving

They will be too weak y
to advice you because, that amount is not even enough to contribute to them as monthly allowance, assuming you are leaving with them

In your own part, you have to learn how to eat to live, not live to eat

You can combine breakfast and lunch at 11am then dinner by 5pm

My Dad is an evangelist and our mom died in 2013. 4 months ago, my older brother revealed to my dad, via phone call, that He is agnostic, my Dad cried and it was shocking for me, because I have never seen my Dad cry. Since the day my brother revealed that He has left the faith, My Dad has been fasting on his behalf. Over the weeks He has lost weight, because He is fasting and praying excessively for God to arrest my brother and He is eating very little. Nowadays, He keeps talking to himself and calling himself a "failed parent" for raising an "athiest" child (To him there is no difference between being Atheist and being Agnostic). Some church members on Facebook found out that my brother had left the faith and they are putting the blame on my parents for not raising my brother properly in the faith. My brother is a frequent visitor to this website, I don't know his username, but I know He visits this website a lot.

Frankly, even though I'm Christian, I have no problems with my brother being agnostic. Right from when we were growing up, He has always been skeptical of religion and I cannot count how many times our parents punished him for skipping church or criticizing popular pastors. He has always been like that and I have gotten used to it. So when I found out that He is was no longer Christian, I was sad, but not surprised.

I have been begging my father to eat properly for over four months now and my pleas have fallen on deaf ears. Old age is starting to catch up with him, his health is already failing him, He is not taking his drugs and He is making matters worse by overthinking about my brother. I am the last born and the only lady with him in the house, as all my older siblings are not around. While I believe that God will arrest my brother in due course, I cannot help but worry about my father who is worrying himself to death over one child. Just yesterday out of frustration and anger, my father laid several hefty curses on my brother, I sent a WhatsApp vn to my brother telling him about it, thinking that his mind will soften a bit, but He replied me that He doesn't believe in curses. In fact I am tired at this point, Please what should I do?

He's the first born out of 5 children .He's doing his PHD and has his own business. He still lives with our parents. So he does not pay for house , food or water.But can you imagine this brother of mine who makes money from his business doesn't contribute to the house for the same food he eats, when he makes money he goes to hotels and sleep over with women and prefers to train and help outsiders than bring something to the family.Recently, he had the effontry to reject my mummy's food on the ground that it was served late. I simply asked my mom to stop putting food for him.

Honestly this brother of mine has never brought joy to my parents and siblings. He has had several accidents driving carelessly, yet my mom still takes care of it all and she has even stayed over in the hospital when he had the last accident and became unconscious.

They're just the kind of brother one will have and you wished you never had a brother , my brother is exactly that kind of brother anyone will wish not to have. Not to talk of his dubious nature, you can't do simple business with him without him cheating on you. I once was rearing one animal and had to send him money for feeds but can you believe he was billing me in excess. We also contributed money to renovate our father's house and he emphatically told us he bought something which he didn't actually buy.

I wonder why God gave us this kind of brother, he has been like this since we all knew something and hasn't changed for good.
He has been sat down and talked to severally yet he will repent and still go back to his old ways .

So pathetic!

Is very unfortunate for him to be behaving like a prodigal son at that over ripe age

You guys must learn from his mistakes and move on with out him being am obstacles to you his siblings

Don't give him the time and attention he needs from you people, because he will capitalize on seniority for you guys

Just move on but be prepared for the trouble he may pose for you people as he grows old unless he is married then, his wife may be the one to correct his madness

As for your mum, no woman can leave her child just like that,even if the child is tied to a stake for police shooting she will still love that child, unless not a biological mother

Don't be surprise, that his Animalistic behavior has already affected your mum emotionally
