So now BH has attack helicopter? I'm waiting for military to say: "stories about missing helicopter are fake" Then we'll see Shekau giving his quarterly speech with said helicopter in background Then we'll see said helicopter firing upon innocent people |
Beautyaddy:The wall was supposed to keep people out, yet China got overwhelmed by the Huns, and later by Europeans... |
Beautyaddy:You mean in the same way neither US nor Europe has love for Nigeria... just pretending due to the benefits of oil and other resources... Vtrd:Well, the Zambian government should pay up. Or were the ministers/president sleeping instead of reading the contract? Whose fault is it for signing a contract they didn't fully understand? My friends, nobody can love you more than yourself, and if Nigerians (and Africans) are unwilling to develop ourselves - in spite of examples from Japan, Taiwan, China, etc - well, we can't blame outsiders for taking advantage of us. |
Earthbound: Righteousness89:Actually, China has seen US to a standstill. There was a time when China would have bowed to US pressure on tariffs and intellectual property due to the lopsided difference in economic and political power - which was what Trump was counting on - but now there is a " temporary truce" till March. This could only happen because China was not bowing to US demands, and is getting stronger weekly. US does not realize that walls don't work - not in China, not in Berlin, not in Jerusalem... and furthermore, by making itself hostile to immigration, it will make people seek green pastures in other countries. 50 years from now, they will look around and find that the best talents are no longer coming to them, and they've descended into a nation of xenophobic hillbillies. |
blues343:YES!!! He should use that extra money for building property ... otherwise, suddenly soup will start to cost more. ![]() |
We all have good intentions when we're powerless candidates. Following them up when in the position of power is the real challenge. |
OP, please update the link to Second is 9ja vs kenya twiter war, thats the most funny thread on NL in 2018!! You have: https://www.nairaland.com/4644339/5-foods-undergraduates-eat-when |
We have lots and lots of abandoned and ill-maintained aircraft, operated by people with no idea about good customer service. So how this is news is beyond me... Anyways, 50 solid orders for aircraft no be beans... unless na campaign tins ![]() |
The Liberian guy's first message was: please help me, financially or business. This is not a scam (it's asking for money straight up). But anyways, good charity work mr oyinbo, since black man's government would rather buy house in Dubai and 5 cars than empower their own youths. |
By that logic, movies where actors are shown smoking or being fraudsters should be banned too... This song is about awareness... people always miss the point of these songs, and NBC as usual will ban it whether it's "Wo", "Fall", or "Science Student". Was "Science Student" promoting drug use? Was "Wo" promoting tobacco use? This is another song that raises awareness of what is actually going on in the streets. Banning songs is not going to alleviate the poverty that causes the yahoo+ and ritual. |
BoneBlogger:Are you sure he's going to reap fruits, or if he's just entering a lifetime of servitude and insult? Nothing makes a woman say yes after than her other finance marrying somebody else. But what do I know? HML sha. Hope she will not berate him after wedding... |
Best news of the day. jidemoh:You know if there's no international warrant, she can behave like Ibori and get judges to dismiss the case within Nigeria. This way, she cannot come into Nigeria and throw her weight around... I would like to see her wearing jail attire for 5 years. |
Ladies of nowadays, would they be willing to stand by a man on the beginning days of his hustle? In 2005 they would just laugh at him because he's hustling on the street. 2009 they will be complaining that he has only small shop. When he insists to put profit back in his business, they would call him stingy, that he should spend on their hair or get them iPhone. It's only now after 13 years of hard work that the profits are coming in, they will now say: "what a successful guy", yet they would not stand by him through the hard times. SMH And our young boys of nowadays are no different: most will not see that he worked hard and consistently for 13 years, enduring all the hardships and setbacks that accompany all businesses. They will now either want to steal from him, or try to use ritual to be like him. This is very inspiring, and encourages me to continue my line of business, because it will get better the more I work on it. streamsofjoy:I agree... I was thinking the same thing. SEGLIZ:This is a very very excellent point. Even me sef, I get distracted by the thought of: "this government is worse than the past one", but in truth, this guy shows you can make it no matter what. Stop complaining and keep working, don't be wasteful, and keep the dream alive. Thanks bros for your insight. |
He has nobody to blame but himself... the dullard went to NASS' house and presented some crap that got himself booed. NANS: it won't happen again. PMB has given his last budget speech, and will be watching the next one from his palor in Daura. |
I can't wait to see this movie... the previews (which were awesome) came a while back, but I've not been able to watch it yet. I'm also very excited by the things happening in our rebounding cinema: a lot of movies are published by Nollywood, and can stand up to many movies coming from America. Our entertainment industry are really taking things up to another level. ![]() Proud to see Innoson vehicles being used. Proud of Genevieve as director and producer. Proud of her taking the movie to Netflix and showcasing our talents on the international scene. From such humble beginnings, our dear Nollywood is taking the world by storm with quality. |
Dee60:The picture is when he's already at the market, among tight security detail. They didn't show you all the blocked roads in Lagos and Ilorin between his source and destination. |
koyyes:OK sir... let's hope black people remember to put on their white face mask and white wig before heading to the bank. I'm counting his blessings for him that this didn't end in death, the way cops in US treat black men. |
#30. To God Be the Glory.... Everything on this list is on point. It was so back in 2009, it is still true today ![]() |
But if I collect bribe from all candidates, and still vote for my choice, is that still a sin? ![]() My people don dey wise: collect all you can from politheifcians, then vote as you like. After all, the money they are sharing, did they earn it, or is it our collective money? |
marvin906:... and service would be cheaper (i.e. bad); safety and maintenance would be cheaper still, that is if salaries are even paid, or landing fees are paid. Have you been to a federal secretariat? Those are the same people who would run Nigerian Airways... |
HarkymTheOracle:Because if a drone gets sucked into a plane's engines during takeoff and causes a crash close to the airport... it would somehow be a better outcome than just exercising extra caution? These drone flyers are careless and are going to encourage government to crack down. There are rules, and rather that just abide, people are flaunting it for personal amusement. They could also be doing it for nefarious purposes (as some people have already pointed out): casing out the airport for a terror strike... |
Offpoint:You'd be hard pressed to find a Nigerian woman who's still skinny after four children too. It happens, but that's the exception. |
Love her smile and that outfit! theapeman4:I'm tired of this argument. What ever happened to self-control? As a man, for my own sake, I would be disappointed in myself for losing control because of puna. Any man who uses "but see what she was wearing" as an excuse... needs to up his mental game. |
JoseVanMoyes:As if... the guy will be sampling different different types of soup no yawa. May even marry another one to get that card. |
I don't know why we keep getting ourselves distracted over who is corrupt, or who is not, who is a saint, or who is a pretender. What is the difference between 200M for cutting grass during dullard's tenure, or Stella's bullet proof vehicles during GEJ? And how does Atiku's alleged collaboration with an American senator help (or not help) people feed their families? There are no saints in Nigeria, so just let everybody vote their way in peace without fighting over people that don't give a damn and attend each others' weddings using our collective money. |
That Malaysian family don hammer! ![]() I forsee more Malaysian girls trying to hammer in the near future, and that my Igbo brothers will cash in with their love scams ![]() |
Icon79:So "Chief of Defence Staff" has nothing to do with securing Nigeria and Nigerians? |
IamD18:You're not making a valid argument. This man was put in charge of making Nigeria more secure, and he failed at his duty, due to incompetence, indifference, and corruption as he diverted funds meant to secure the life of millions of Nigerians. If he had done a better job while in the position, perhaps bandits would not have had such easy access to him. Other people in such positions should learn the right lesson: that we all prosper together, or we all fall together. The person in charge of Health today could very be a victim of fake drugs tomorrow. |
People blaming the son... yes he was incompetent, but what were all the shareholders, board members, and directors doing when they saw the company going down? It's not like it's a private enterprise, and they had a fiduciary duty to kick his ass out. Don't forget also that 2015 is when the dullard took over and started running the economy into the ground. |
viktor01:Good love is not that easy to find; somebody can always learn to cook, and if love is there, will do it for your sake. |
pedrilo:Savage though artvipez: I don't even find her attractive.u cannot eat d food meant for ur fore fathers. Besides u r a woman n not a man. Dat asss is not ur mate. It's light years ahead of u. ![]() |
nickxtra:Oh come on. I'm just giving a more general advise about how I think money can be better spent, and I would give that same advise to my own state. I'm not trying to say one place is better than the other... I'm just saying that I think the problem we're seeing with insecurity is because of lack of employment. When they brought okada and then keke, it was about employing youths. If instead they used that money to just get more security back then, do you think we would have been safer? I doubt it. There are so many people all over Nigeria who are able to earn money legitimately all over Nigeria because of NAPEP, and so do not resort to crime. I'm simply suggesting that Edo go further and provide more sources of employment, which might be a longer-term solution. That's all. |
