I was actually thinking about going for this surgery, but when I realized that any mistake can make me blind forever, i decided to stick to my lovely glasses.

Well to do ,celebrity men in sports,music,movie industries hardly have dark skinned partners.

Musicians prefer to use light skinned/white girls to shoot music videos.

Most men are dark skinned and as such go for light skinned women.

I'm a female...and well,I can't really remember giving any gift to man while dating.

And I didn't ask for/expect gifts & money as well.
As a result,I rarely received gifts even on my birthdays and I was fine with that.

The closest I was to buying gifts for my then boyfriend,now husband ,was on his birthday .

I got to the boutique, selected 2 nice office shirts,a pair of Oxford shoes,a belt and a Tissot wristwatch.

As the attendant made to pack them...
I asked myself.."What are you doing?".
My birthday was 4 months earlier.
All he did was to call me that morning..we chatted a bit during the day and evening after work.That was all.
We didnt see ,even though we lived in the same town.He didnt give me any gift..in cash or in kind.
And I didnt bother.

So I changed my mind immediately and corrected my stupidity!
I have 2 brothers...
It was few weeks to Christmas.
I returned the items..and picked another set of shirts,polo,palm slippers and belts..for my brothers.

I waybilled the gifts to them...and wrote on the parcel.."From Big Sis to you.Christmas came early".

My brothers were ecstatic.

Not spending my hard earned on a man who has not married me.
