Two months after their wedding, a lady has called out her husband, Emmanuel Egba, for allegedly deceiving her into marrying him.

The lady, identified as Oladimeji Oluwatosin, revealed they got married on February 19, 2022, at First East Circular road, in Benin City, Edo State.

According to her, “We dated for six months and he said he wanted to get married. He deceived me into marrying him because we are Witnesses and we believe once we get married we can't divorce, except on the ground of adultery.

He borrowed money to show off, pretended that he was rich and came for my hand in marriage. My family and I agreed because he was acting all nice.

When we were preparing for the wedding he lied that his company was owing him N11million. So my family took the responsibility of the wedding, did everything, only for me to get to his house and find out he has been lying to me all along.

He promised to open a tailoring shop for me but he couldn’t even feed me, talk more of opening the shop. I told him I was going to tell the elders in our congregation and he thre#tened to k#ll me because he knew he would be disfellowship.

He even locked me in the bathroom one day and I was screaming for help, luckily for me his neighbors came to my rescue. I left his house that day.

Ladies that want to get married now should please make thorough research before they get married.”

That's one of the disadvantages of marriage without courting

If you can't cope, you have to let her know that you are leaving the marriage and that you are not happy the way the marriage is going

Then listen to what she will have to say
If she is tired too both of you can end it peacefully

If she still wants the marriage, then ask her the way forward

I have come to know that women also hate verbal abuses.
So instead of hitting her, why not abuse her back?
I once had a girl that verbally abused me. I couldn't match the speed of her verbal diarrhoea. I simply waited and later packaged a well written abuse to her. After that, she always held herself when the urge to abuse comes.
Please guys, I don't think we should hit them because of verbal abuse. That shouldn't be enough excuse.

The way and Manner wives talk at their husbands is always sad, and it's enough to make a sane man go insane immediately and unleashed his anger on the wife through beating.

In the class of biscuits, we have different types of biscuits and with different flavours

But for chinchin, the flavours are just small and even you can prepare one yourself watching YouTube

I have been on/off from my work(shop) for 2weeks now, I have this new worker who is a Muslim and I am a Christian, of course, I am not against her religion or anything, I still grant her the permission to attend mosque every Friday afternoon and I always try to be at shop by 2pm, or get someone to replace her..

Today I came to shop and the first thing I noticed was that she allowed one Alfa that I know very well, into the shop(she knows it is not allowed), my mind told me they were both reciting the Quran before I came in.

Even myself being a Christian, I pray before coming to shop/work.

I wanted to tell her to stop praying in the shop because it is not a praying ground or mosque, should I go ahead?

I am not against her religion whatsoever, even she reads the Quran quietly in the shop and there's no issue about that.

She should have limits her religion practice in the mosque or her parents home

Noth if you are of different religion so you will suspect anything religious in the shop, for the fact that they speak in Arabic, it makes it unclear

Meanwhile shop for a replacement while she still stays there and free her once you get another to replace her

Seems like the parents are showing more love to the male child and the female one are not playing or socializing with the male child

Sometimes there parents have to force them to be with their brother

I'm their own case, because he is the only son, the parents are just being over protective of him so that he won't be feeling not having a brother

As for the girls they love them too but show much affection on the boy

In an idle family as a parent you have to love them equally to get the best in them

You can probably inherit the properties if both parents are late

In your own case, dragging properties with your dad is not a good reasoning

I suggest you sit him down and both of you will work out things to favour your family

How come you are alone in this battle, what about your siblings, are they aware and Ignore the matter or aware and fighting dad too

When I read the posts of some people suggesting that you get your brother another accommodation, I just laughed.

See, if your wife and your brother are attracted to each other, separate accommodations will not stop the affairs. Infact, it may even make it sweeter because neighbors will not easily suspect anything when your brother comes visiting.

But if your wife is disciplined and has respect for you, she will not encourage that sort of affair!

This was what I had in mind when I posted my advice on the issue

Background
I don't live in Nigeria but me and my wife both have a very comfortable 4 bedroom duplex in Nigeria. We have a one year old baby. I have been in Nigeria for 5 months now and I will be returning to UK in a few weeks.

Ever since I've been in Nigeria, my cousin (mid 30s) has been with us. Quite frankly, it is not very easy for him at the moment and i do care about him as a brother. He is in the process of processing his visa, so its not as if he is loafing about.

The plan is that both me and my wife will be taking turns in visiting each other for the next 2 or so years until I return fully to Nigeria.

The problem
The problem is that I do not feel comfortable leaving just him and my wife under thesame roof whilst I return and he is not showing any signs of leaving when I return to my base.

So, this is my situation and I don't know if I am being insensitive.

I married a very good wife and under most circumstances, I trust her. I am just not comfortable leaving my wife with any man atall under thesame roof.

I need your opinions pls.

Your wife is the issue here not your cousin

If your wife is decent and you trust her with your last breath, you don't need to panic

If she wants to sleep with another man, she will do so even while you are leaving in Nigeria

So even if you get a room self contain for your cousin to pack out, they will meet when they want to meet

So, just talk to your wife by advising her and that's all

A lady I was dating joined me in an eatery where I was about to eat, the food there costs 1500 a plate, I told her let us go to a cheaper on where we can eat 1k and I can buy two for us, she asked if I can't pay with my card.

I was already going to my car so we can go somewhere else and on the way she was still complaining about that, mentioning how i do not spend on her, which I interpreted as subtle manipulation, and that was it for me. I took her home and blocked here everywhere she thought it was a joke.

Men should stop condoning these manipulations, me i do not.

That is simply because such men had informed the ladies in their lives that they will practice polygamy. There are few women who can accept polygamy without issues, just as we have ladies who prefer to be a baby mama to a rich man, than to be in monogamy with a poor man. Every one has a right of choice, and any man who would marry a wife and thinks he can throw a second wife on her face in future, without a pre notice is a joker.
